Amazing experience. I got the chance to have, several times, a private guide like Maria in Luxor who accompagnied me at all the big stops to do: Hatchepsut and Karnak temples, Valley of the Kings... she was so knowledgeable about the History of Egypt, knowing even how to read hieroglyphs and speak Coptic. Impressive! She was also super caring about me enjoying the experience. Then the cruise started: great boat with a swimming pool, and the staff is also very caring at their customers to enjoy the experience. I really enjoyed been mixed up with other groups so we can share the superb Egyptian experience. All guides were great, at Edfu, Kom Ombo, Abu Simbel. Thank you all!

Beautiful cruise on the Nile experience on board the Royal Steigenberger Cruise Ship from Aswan to Luxor. Flawless process from pick up to drop off. We'll organized tours with knowledge tour guides at all the ancient historic sites. Also excellent communication and feedback from Envy on WhatsApp. Highly recommended.
Thank you to Enjy who was there throughout the trip with details of pick up, drop off and general advice. I did the 2 night three day tour onboard the MS Zeina. Ship is nice and clean but there are definitely newer, more luxurious ships out there - the class options seems to refer to the room not the ship. ‘luxury’ was the top floor of the ship , bathroom, twin beds, absolutely fine. Everyone on board was lovely and I’m pleased to say, not pushy for tips. You can give stuff out for good service as you wish but you put what you want on an envelope at the end of the tour to be shared amongst the whole crew. Food was nice , good enough selection over the three days and some local dishes. The only thing that stood out was the drink prices - a can of beer I think was around $10. All the trips were amazing , I got assigned a different guide each stop plus you get some time onboard to relax. Enjy was the star who made it a more relaxed and enjoyable experience with the updates and keeping me on track.
Enjy added me to a WhatsApp group and coordinated the trip exceptionally well. The trip had several temple visits, guide, balloon ride and drop to hurghada. Everything went as expected, at correct and perfect timings, the guides came to ship on time, they explained every detail very well. I would recommend this to everyone. One negative is, the hurghada roads were closing at 4pm and we had to leave early from luxor - they didn't inform me this before - so we went to all places very fast and skipped lunch. But I won't see this affected the trip, I'm posting this for others to know if they are planning hurghada.
Enjoy our trip, nice itinerary. Enjy is a good guy and he’s been really nice and available with us for all the trip taking care of us when something was wrong. Unfortunately the cruise room was not really clear at all, but the crew was kind and professional
Nervien was a great tour guide in Luxor, very friendly and extremely knowledgeable!
Amazing experience! We had Nervien, she was amazing — very thorough and kind.
My tour guide Nervien was absolutely fantastic! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and made the whole experience fun and engaging. She understands ins and outs of Luxor very well.
The tour guides, Marian in Luxor and Mohamed in Kom Ombo was great. Very informative, good English, and friendly. Also, Enjy, our tour operator, helped us whenever we needed help. He answered our WhatsApp messages on time. As for the cruise, it depends on the boat you get. We booked Deluxe category ship, but our boat, MS Kira, was very old. Also, our room was behind the front desk, and no other tourist was assigned on the floor. Other tourists were on upper floors. We were surrounded by the room used by staffs, and was quite noisy all night. The room itself was also rusty. The Cruise team at the restaurant was friendly, and the food was good. We really wished we had a better room.
Nice experience, 5 temples in one day with Nervien.
Nervien was very nice and friendly guide in our trip in Luxor, We highly recommend if your in the city!
Very good experience, our tour in Luxor by the guide Nervien, she provided us good history facts about the temples, and she was very easy going!
Our tour agent, Enjy, deserves five star. Very helpful and responsive after there was a problem with dates on our original booking with booking.com. The guides, particularly Miriam who took us around Luxor were also excellent. Cruise on the Nile was an interesting experience. Very glad we did it but there’s is quite a lot of waiting around at the locks at Esna. There was also a 4:30 am start to visit Erfu which seemed unnecessary - all the cruise companies seem to do the same thing and Edfu was heaving which made that bit less enjoyable.
Great experience cruising down the Nile for a few days. All the staff on board were lovely and really accomodating. Food was plentiful and tasty. Very good experience for the price especially considering the cost of some of the other boats. Communication as to schedule was a bit confusing but this may have been because the tour company that booked us on this boat didn’t give us correct times for trips etc so probably not the boats fault. My partner did get sick while on the boat but hard to know if that was from the boat or something else. Overall would do again. Thank you for the trip.
specious large room with great view. food was good and plenty of verity. Reasonable cruise cost. Great value for the money. Great staff very friendly. Temples visit in between with guides, free pickup and drop. Over all had great experience A whats up group was created for me & my family by Enjy , the tour coordinator and she was all the time available and helping. She made the cruise experience wonderful. Internet is not free but not very costly. Quality not that great as ship moves
We have had an amazing time touring the sites. Purchasing admission tickets and go-cart transportation is simple. Visa for entrance tickets and Egyptian Pounds for transportation. We had ample time to visit each site and take lots of pictures. Don’t overdress - you walk a lot and heat up quickly. Bring lots of water. The vendors can be aggressive so have a thick skin and stare forward. A simple “No” will suffice and they should back off. Tour guides are knowledgeable. If you’re lucky to get Nervien you’ll have a fantastic time. She’s the best and we highly recommend her.
We had a perfect experience on the Nile Cruise. Best thanks to my tour operator Enjy for helping us out throughout the trip. Food is amazing and the sunset view is wonderful.
I booked a 2-night, 3-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan, and what should have been a relaxing experience turned into an extremely stressful and frustrating ordeal. Two days before the cruise, I suddenly received a WhatsApp message saying that the standard cabin I had booked months in advance was “not available anymore” because everything was fully booked. I was told I now had only two options: 1. Pay an additional 250 USD in cash to “upgrade” to a deluxe cabin, or 2. Cancel and get a refund, effectively ruining my entire Egypt itinerary. When I contacted Viator, they initially framed the cancellation as “technical issues,” which was clearly not the case. The whole situation felt like intentional last-minute upselling — essentially blackmail. By that point, canceling would have destroyed my plans, so I reluctantly agreed to pay the extra amount (which I had to negotiate to pay in Egyptian pounds because I am not from the USA and did not carry USD). Upon arrival, things didn’t get better. • The receptionist had absolutely no idea about my booking, even though I showed him the confirmation. • Communication was extremely difficult because the staff’s English was very poor. They tried to help, but I had to ask the same questions multiple times to get basic information. • The ship itself was nowhere near “deluxe.” The AC smelled terrible, the furniture was old and worn-out, and the bathroom had wooden tiles that were unevenly installed. • My cabin was located near the back of the ship, and I constantly smelled fumes, likely because it was close to the engine room. • The rooms were clean-ish, nothing more. The food was ok-ish, definitely not what you’d expect after being forced to pay for an upgrade. • The “breakfast/lunch box” provided during the transfer to Aswan was honestly a joke — extremely poor quality and not what you’d expect on a supposedly upgraded cruise experience. To be fair, the drivers who handled the transfers were very polite, clean, and drove safely. They were the only part of the service that felt professional. The guides also often arrived late or changed the meeting times without notice, which added unnecessary stress. Nearly every day, I had to text the coordinator to figure out what was happening next. What saved the experience slightly were the Nile itself and the incredible temples — the natural beauty and the sights are stunning. But the cruise operator had nothing to do with that. Overall: This was a deeply unpleasant experience, marred by poor organization, terrible communication, and what I genuinely believe was a deliberate attempt to upsell at the last minute. I left feeling cheated and stressed rather than relaxed. The Nile deserves better than operators who treat customers this way. I absolutely do not recommend this cruise or this company.
Our guide Nervien in Luxor was so incredibly kind and knowledgable, she really made the experience so much better for us!
Maria is the perfect guide in Luxor with rich knowledge and kindness and I could cover all the main places and had a really great time.
Nervien Was a great tour guide, provided great insight and was able to answer any questions we had. Her English was also very good. We enjoyed our day tour in Luxor
Unfortunately we did not have the best experience with this package. When we first arrived on the boat, one of the boat managers was not aware of our arrival and came at us quite aggressively saying we were not on this boat and kept questioning who sent us there. After speaking with the tour rep, he suddenly switched and became very welcoming, seemed very fake. The tour guides for the temples were great — however our tour guide in Luxor pressured us to fill out our reviews in the middle of the tour and send her screenshots to make sure they were positive which was a bit fishy/strange and honestly makes me question all these positive reviews. Also most of our tour time at the temples were eaten up by waiting for other guests because they lump you in with other passengers from other boats and it took a while to get everyone together which was annoying. Lastly, at the end of the cruise, we left a tip at checkout but afterward they chased us down and demanded 600 pound tip which rubbed me the wrong way because that’s not how tipping works and we already left one. It is like they expect a tip for everything, even for doing their job at the bare minimum. Sorry for the long review and I normally don’t write anything if it is not positive, but wanted to let any future guests know how our experience went. Otherwise the trip coordinators had overall good communication and we were able to reach out to them when we encountered all these issues.
Really excellent experience overall. The highlights were the private tours of Aswan with Rita, and Luxor with Nervien. Both of the tour guides were really fun, informative, professional and helped us to avoid the busy crowds.
The experience was great overall. Food on the cruise top quality, friendly staff and knowledgeable guides :) highly recommend
Nervien was fantastic!! Very knowledgeable, friendly, and I learned so much about the temples. Relaxed pace and comfortable car ride with no worries. Her English was excellent and I felt lucky to have her as my guide.
Nervien was AMAZING! So knowledgeable and passionate about Egyptian history! Her name means gift of the Gods and we certainly felt spoiled to have her as our guide.🤩
Rooms were very comfortable and food was delicious. The boat was clean and well-attended. Nervien was an excellent guide, she was very knowledgeable and friendly.
Good experience. Well-organized tour. We always had support from our guide. Good cultural knowledge too. Very friendly too. Speaks good English.
We had a very good time on the cruise and during the visits. It was all well organized. Our guide in Louxor Nervin Naeen was very nice and very interesting, providing us detailed information.
Omar and his team were responsive over WhatsApp. Always checking in and responding quickly to my messages and questions. The quality of the guides varied from high to low. The whole experience was unorganized. None of the guides knew when things started or ended. The cruise didn't know my information. I was asked to coordinate and communicate between drivers, guides, and Omar. Everything would eventually get taken care of after my prompting, but there was a lack of care that didn't extend from Omar to the guides. My room on the ship was clean, the food was okay, and the staff were friendly and welcoming. So many improvements could be made if there were more communication. Considering there are so many other cruise options, I would not book this one again.
The tour guide is good because he explained a lot of details for us 導遊很好,因為他解釋了很多詳盡的資料給我們,我們獲得了很多知識,推薦大家可以找他,他的名字叫做Paul,大家下次去埃及可以找他
The staff and guides are helpful and friendly throughout the whole tour, even though we were late for the meet up due to the delay of bus, Pola still waits us patiently and able to pick us up as soon as we arrived luxor
Omar was our guide, and the entire experience was wonderful. Everything was taken care of. This cruise is really good otherwise, and a great experience.
The crew on the ship and Omar, our tour guide, were the best parts of our trip. Our room number 206 was quiet and clean. The food was good and plentiful, with several choices.
This cruise was one of the best parts of our trip to Egypt, and it wouldn’t have been the same without Omar, who organized everything flawlessly! From the moment we booked, Omar was in constant contact, answering all our questions and making sure every detail was covered. During the cruise itself, he checked in daily to see if we needed anything and made sure all our tours were smooth and stress-free. His knowledge of Egyptian history and local tips added so much to the experience. It really felt like we had a friend taking care of us. Thanks to Omar, we could completely relax and enjoy the temples, the scenery, and the incredible atmosphere of sailing the Nile. Highly, highly recommend!
I can’t say enough good things about this 3-day cruise! The boat itself was stunning – beautifully decorated, clean, and so comfortable. Our cabin had a perfect view of the Nile, and waking up to see the sunrise over the river was magical. The food onboard was delicious with plenty of choices at every meal. The sundeck was my favorite spot, perfect for relaxing and watching the scenery go by. Every stop along the way – from Karnak Temple to Edfu and Kom Ombo – was fascinating and well organized. The staff were incredibly friendly and always ready to help. This cruise truly combined luxury with adventure, and I’d highly recommend it to anyone visiting Egypt!
The tour in Luxor was good. Demiana was very knowledgeable. I enjoyed the Valley of the Kings and Karnak Temple. I would have liked more time there. The hot air balloon was not very good as there was no transport from the West Bank to the launch site. We had to wait 45 minutes. We have not yet boarded the boat so I don't know what that is like.
It's an incredible experience. We'll advice to our friends to do the Nile Cruise with this company. The staff is very nice, they help us on everything.
Our 3-day Nile cruise from Luxor to Aswan was exceptionally well-organized, with everything running smoothly from start to finish. Communication was clear, and the organizer was always responsive, ensuring everything was on time and well-coordinated. The itinerary was thoughtfully planned, covering key historical sites, and we had excellent guides whose passion and expertise made the journey even more enriching. We were truly impressed by the professionalism and the seamless organization of the entire trip. Highly recommended!
This trip was Amazing!!🤩 It was an experience to remember! From start to finish, the journey was a perfect mix of relaxation, cultural exploration, and breathtaking scenery.
For the price, this cruise exceeded all my expectations. The boat was luxurious, the crew was attentive, and the food was a delightful mix of Egyptian and international cuisine. The highlight for me was the visit to Abu Simbel—our guide arranged everything perfectly. I also loved the flexibility to relax on the deck or explore the sites in detail. Whether you’re a history enthusiast or just looking for a relaxing getaway, this cruise is worth every penny.”
We took this cruise as a family with two teenagers, and everyone had a fantastic time. The kids loved hearing the stories about the gods and pharaohs, and the guide kept them engaged throughout. The boat had great amenities for families, and the pool was a hit with our kids after a day of exploring. By the end of the trip, we all agreed it was the highlight of our vacation in Egypt. Highly recommend for families looking for a mix of education and relaxation!”
This cruise from Luxor to Aswan was incredible! The organizing team was amazing—they handled everything so smoothly. The ship itself was stunning, with comfortable rooms and beautiful views of the Nile. The visits to ancient temples, like Karnak and Philae, were unforgettable, and the guide’s stories brought the history to life.
From start to finish, this cruise was well-organized and hassle-free. The ship was clean and had a cozy deck to enjoy the Nile views. The guides were excellent, sharing stories about the incredible temples we visited, like Abu Simbel and Luxor Temple. Truly a memorable journey!
The passenger ship Queen Isis is not a new ship, but all the staff were very friendly, and the manager was a reliable man. The food was delicious and there was also alcohol service, so I had a comfortable time. However, Enjy, you may have tried hard, but in the end, trouble occurred. The first day started with a tour of the Valley of the Kings and the Temple of Hatshepsut, but the planned tour of Mennon was not done. On my way back to the passenger ship, the guide disappeared, and the driver dropped me off at the cruise dock, but there were over six cruise ships there, and I didn't even know the name of the ship, leaving me at a loss. It was the manager of another passenger ship, the manager of the Queen Isis, who solved this. Also, the notification about the departure times for the tours of the Esna Temple, Kom Ombo Temple, and Abu Simbel Temple was late, which made me anxious. In the end, Queen Isis's manager helped with this too. Furthermore, the sightseeing at the Comonbo Shrine was skipped and did not happen.
Very good, very well arranged, everything is very good, thanks for the trip, great itinerary, Enjy.
Mr. Nervien was very knowledgeable and provided us with a story of the place in Luxor, for each destination. They were on time and picked us up at the hotel without delay. It is a comfortable car transfer that is safe for women traveling alone.
Overall, it was a nice experience for the amazing places we visited. However, the boat itself was not one of the best and in some respects it was noticeable that it needed maintenance. The most remarkable thing was undoubtedly the crew and the waiters. They were always friendly, attentive and very willing to help at all times. His treatment made a positive difference during the trip. As a major negative, we were not given a clear itinerary before boarding. We didn’t know in advance what activities we would do at each stop or the schedules, which generated a lot of uncertainty and disorganization. We didn't know the arrival time at the destination either. Such information would have been essential from the outset if we were to be better planned. In short, the destination is spectacular and the staff deserve recognition, but the organization and the ship could be considerably improved.
On top! The excursions were great and the cruise was great too! The manager Enjy was very responsive we had no problems. I advise you to close your eyes.
Maria, our guide, was a friendly and very nice person. We toured around the west coast of Luxor. The explanation was also polite and fun.
