The cruise was both relaxing and informative. The guides shared fascinating history at each temple, and the evenings on deck were peaceful and scenic. The cabin was clean, the food was good, and the staff was friendly. Sailing from Luxor to Aswan in three days felt easy and well paced.

Starting each day with coffee on the deck, watching the mist lift off the river, was just as memorable as the temples themselves. The boat was comfortable, the cabin was spotless, and the meals were hot and generous. Esna and Kom Ombo were both well paced, and the guide explained the carvings without ever lecturing. Water was provided and nothing was pushed.
By the second morning we had a routine, coffee on deck, a temple before the heat, lunch, and then nothing but the Nile. The boat was clean and comfortable, the meals were hot and generous, and the sun deck stayed quiet. Esna and Edfu were both included and explained clearly. No pressure, no upselling.
It genuinely felt like a floating hotel rather than a boat trip, which is exactly what we wanted after weeks of moving between cities. The cabin was spotless with hot water every time, the meals were hot and generous, and the sun deck became the quietest spot of the entire holiday. Edfu in the cool morning was the standout stop, and Kom Ombo at sunset was a close second.
Paying five-star prices for a five-star ship is easy, but getting this level of comfort for what we paid was the real surprise. The cabin was spotless, the bed comfortable, and the food genuinely good across all three days. The pool on deck saved us after Edfu. Our guide in Luxor was outstanding, patient with questions and clearly in love with the subject. The only extra was entry tickets, but that was explained upfront, so no shocks at the end.
Wonderful! Well planned, well paced itinerary. Cruise was lovely, standard room was very comfortable, tour organizers were easy to reach on WhatsApp. Every time we got off the cruise I was chauffeured or ushered by a guide to the sightseeing spot. Stress free. The temples/sights were fascinating. Watching the sunrise and sunset on the Nile was beautiful
Took the family on this three-day cruise and it was far easier than we expected. The crew were patient with the children, the cabin was compact but comfortable, and the sun deck gave them space to run around safely while we relaxed with tea. Meals were included and simple enough that even the fussy eaters found something, and there was always fruit and juice available. The temple stops at Edfu and Kom Ombo were short enough to hold their attention, and our guide turned the carvings into stories rather than lectures. The whole pace was gentle, with no rushing between stops. A genuinely stress-free way to travel with kids.
I keep replaying this cruise in my head weeks after coming home and the strangest part is that the temples are not what stuck with me most It was the mornings I woke up to a different stretch of the Nile every single day with mist on the water and farmers already working the banks The cabin was small but spotless and the air conditioning saved me more than once and the food was simple but always hot and plentiful My guide Ahmed was the reason the stops at Esna Edfu and Kom Ombo actually meant something he pointed out details in the carvings that no guidebook mentions and he never once rushed the group past something worth seeing Three days that felt like a proper pause in my life rather than just sightseeing
We had an amazing time. The food was good, (except they give you to go, those are really bad) the tours were all really well organized and our guide Mina was great. I would 100% recommend this.
We had an absolutely incredible experience with Imperial Egypt Travel, from the very beginning when we booked our cruise. Their team was extremely helpful and supportive throughout the entire process, always guiding us and making sure everything was well organized. The cruise itself, the amenities, the staff, and all the incredible places we visited exceeded our expectations in every way. But what truly made our experience even more special was our guide, Hady. From the very beginning, tour guide was amazing. He not only helped us understand Egyptian history, but also encouraged us to look beyond what we were seeing at each location. His knowledge, passion, and the way he shared the history and stories behind every place allowed us to appreciate even more the beauty and magic of Egypt. We are truly grateful to tour guide for making this journey so memorable and special. If you have the opportunity to experience Egypt with him, you can be sure you will have an unforgettable time
We really enjoyed the cruise. Is not a top luxury ship but it’s amazing considering the price . The food was good and the staff was thoughtful. The rooms were clean and comfortable. The guides on every tour were very nice and experienced on the egiptian mythology. The guide in Luxor Esraa was the best guide ever! She had so much knowlegde, she was so nice and thoughtful that totally made out trip worth it.
First time booking through Viator and had a great experience. Everything was very well organised and taken care of. The tour provider was in touch from the beginning till the end, sending useful information everyday and asking updates. The cruise was fantastic, great value, comfortable, clean, nice cabin with balcony window, kind staff and good food. Wifi is very slow, better to have your own sim with data. The boat was Steigenberger, it is the perfect size, even the small pool was never crowded. The visits and guided tours were well organized, in van in small groups, we were always the same people during our visits (just 5 persons). The guides were very informative, kind and funny. The only sad part is the horse carriage in Edfu to reach the temple, where animals look sick and malnourished and are forced to work long hours in the crazy traffic, bearing exhaust fumes and excessive heat. Our group asked to use a car transfer instead of the horse carriage and that was quickly organised by the guide without problems or delays. Hoping more and more visitors will refuse horse carriage. All in all we are very happy with our choice and we definetely recommend it!
We were a couple celebrating an anniversary. The experience was sentimentally charged in the best way. The admission fee pays for emotional landmarks. The length of visit is a chapter in our story. The atmosphere is ripe for making memories. The crowd size felt like witnesses to our joy. The staff celebrated with us. This is best for anniversary celebrations. We took a million pictures together. A sentimental landmark was the Philae Temple visit during the Aswan stop. It is beautiful and dedicated to the goddess of love Isis. Our guide made a point to tell us the myth there. It felt relevant and romantic. The setting on an island is magical. We took a small boat there just us two with the guide. It felt private and significant. The colors of the stone are soft and beautiful. One short story. At check out in Aswan I realized I had lost a bracelet my wife gave me. The guide delayed our transfer for ten minutes and helped me retrace steps. We found it under the bed. He was a hero.
Firstly, the communication with the tour representative was pretty terrible. My questions were ignored and I would have to ask multiple times on whatsapp before they were eventually answered. We also only found out timings and locations for meeting our tour guides the evening before the next day so we were mostly left not knowing the plan until very late. Also be warned that pick up times are 7am and 4am which we were shocked that such early timings had not been communicated to us much much earlier so we were not happy about that (we don't want to be waking up at 3:30am on our holiday!). The transport to Abu Simbel was terrible – we were picked up before 4am and then had to squeeze into a really uncomfortable small car with other strangers and there were no seatbelts so did not feel safe at all. This drive is also over 3 hours each way so it was not a pleasant experience. A lot of the sites are also incredibly overcrowded. The boat itself was ok but the staff tried to force us to sit on a table with a random group of people when we requested to have our own table. We also got very sick after the boat which we assumed was from something we ate on the boat. Overall, not a good experience and I would recommend booking elsewhere – if I was to do it again, I would book onto the smaller sail boats which I've heard are better experiences and you can stop at other tourist sites that are not overcrowded.
We are a family with a child who has special needs. The experience was accommodating and understanding. The admission fee was fair. The length of visit was flexible for us. The atmosphere was accepting. The crowd size was not intrusive. The staff showed genuine kindness and patience. This is best for families needing accommodation. The crew was wonderful. An understanding highlight was at the Edfu Temple. The noise and horses were overwhelming for our child. The guide arranged for us to enter through a quieter side gate and find a calm shaded corner first. He adjusted the tour order for us. He did not make a big deal just made it work. The temple guards were also kind and gave our child space. It made the visit possible and enjoyable for all of us. One short story. Our child dropped a noise canceling headphone into the Nile from the deck. A crew member with a long net fished it out. It was soaked but he tried so hard. The kindness was everything.
It was the best trip we ever did! Best food on the buffet, perfect services, perfect staff, really good visits with the guides. Really good explanation of how the day will be, at what time we have to wake up, who will pick up us. For me that s a perfect plan to do a good trip without stress. Melissa
We had an amazing experience on this Nile cruise and couldn’t be happier with how everything was organized. From the very beginning, communication was clear, professional, and very helpful. Enjy ,our tour operator ,was always there for us, responsive and made sure everything went smoothly. The cruise itself was wonderful — comfortable boat, well-organized schedule, and beautiful views along the Nile. The excursions were a real highlight. Visiting the temples in Luxor with our guide was unforgettable. The guide was knowledgeable, friendly, and explained everything in an interesting and easy-to-understand way, which made the history come alive. Transportation, timing, and coordination were all handled very well, even when travel logistics were a bit complicated. We really appreciated the flexibility and support throughout the trip. Overall, it was a fantastic experience and great value. We highly recommend this cruise and the full program of excursions to anyone visiting Egypt. Thank you for such a memorable journey!
There are a lot of tour guides under an agency but I need to give a special shoutout to Marian(!!). We had a few guides along the way in Egypt and Marian is no doubt the BEST. She is sincere and had the best of our interests, unlike many guides who want to squeeze our money and bring us to scam shops lol. We are a couple from Singapore and could understand Marian the best because she was clear in her explanation. 10/10 would recommend her - I felt safe with her bringing us around ◡̈
I visited Abu Simbel, Kom Om Po, and Luxor. I was able to enjoy the typical Egyptian scenery throughout the cruise. The meals were also lavish, and I was able to spend my days in luxury. Thank you for providing a guide just for me.
These nights were one of my best trips with my dear wife and indeed we enjoyed this experience very much thank you very much our wonderful guide for helping us in this wonderful experience and he succeeded in the wonderful style and his beautiful smile to give us a trip of our best trip 💖🌹
This cruise from Luxor to Aswan was the best way to experience Egypt’s history while enjoying modern comfort. The Valley of the Kings left me speechless; I never expected to see such well-preserved details inside the tombs. Karnak Temple was overwhelming in its scale, and our guide made it even more engaging with his stories. The ship itself felt luxurious, with a spacious cabin, friendly staff, and a wonderful pool to cool off in after long days of exploring. Edfu and Kom Ombo were fascinating stops, but Abu Simbel was the crown jewel of the trip. Standing before Ramses II’s statues made me feel very small in the best way possible. The Colossi of Memnon and Hatshepsut’s Temple added even more depth to the journey. Ending in Aswan was both relaxing and enriching

Excellent in everything we did
We booked a Nile cruise with 2 overnight stays. We had the same stops and visits as on Nile cruises with more overnight stays. The ride on the Nile was beautiful. The visits along the way were extremely great and very interesting. Except for Abu Simbel, we had private tours, which I really enjoyed. In particular, our guide in Luxor, a well-educated woman who could answer all questions, impressed us. The arrangements with the guides, the transportation by carriage and cars worked perfectly. We had booked the more expensive category for the ship. I do not want to know what a standard ship looks like. The cabin was small, but acceptable. The bathroom was rather of very low standard. The crew on board was very friendly and helpful. After one night, we had to change rooms because the AC was broken. The catering on board was extensive, with a good selection. However, only a few spices were used, even though Egypt has many aromatic spices to offer.
We were very pleased with how the cruise was organized, tour operator very present and helpful, punctuality of the guides chosen, beautiful ship with very comfortable and well equipped rooms, great food... In short, to recommend without any doubt!
Mrs. Vena was a friendly and good guide, thank you very much! It would be a very hot day, there must be enough to drink. All the best
