I had a wonderful stay at Steigenberger Hotel Luxor Achti. The hotel has a beautiful atmosphere, excellent location, and very friendly and welcoming staff. Everyone was helpful and made my stay comfortable and enjoyable. A special thank you to Youstina at the reception, who was incredibly kind, professional, and helpful throughout my entire stay. She always had a friendly smile and was ready to assist with anything I needed. Her excellent attitude and hospitality truly made a difference. Thank you to the whole team for the great experience. I would definitely recommend Steigenberger Hotel Luxor Achti and look forward to staying here again!

We are just finishing our 4‑day stay at the hotel, and we couldn’t be happier with our decision to book here. The hotel is located close enough to the temples, yet tucked away in a quiet corner on the Nile River shore. The breakfast buffet was excellent, with a huge variety of food to suit all tastes. The egg station served delicious omelets and scrambled eggs. The only thing we missed was pita bread in the assortment. Rooms are clean and comfortable. They’re not the largest, but spacious enough. We booked a twin room with enough space to add an extra bed for our child. The bathroom was super comfortable, with plenty of amenities. I especially appreciated the closet space, big enough to hold clothes for three people. Best of all was our river‑view balcony — waking up to the Nile is simply amazing. A few highlights: - Everything is spotless. Even the pool mattress covers are constantly washed, something I’ve never seen before. - Loved seeing the staff enjoying the breakfast buffet alongside guests. Very nice consideration. - Special thanks to Catherine at the front desk for being so helpful, friendly, and always greeting us with a beautiful smile. - The Middle Eastern restaurant food was outstanding. - The friendliness of the staff everywhere truly enhanced our holiday. - The lifeguard at the Nile pool was always attentive, helping with towels and umbrellas. - I really appreciate having small dishes at the breakfast buffet, so people don’t take more food than what they can eat and leave it on the table. I appreciate hotels that care about food waste and teach travelers how to behave responsibly. We will definitely come back and recommend it to anyone without hesitation.

We just checked out after a very pleasant stay. While our arrival had a small hiccup, I was incredibly impressed by how promptly and professionally the staff addressed the issue. Instead of just a quick clean, the team immediately upgraded us to a new room. The following day, the manager reached out for a chat to personally apologize and generously provided free breakfast for our entire stay. To our surprise, another manager followed up later and upgraded us to a beautiful suite. We felt truly cared for and treated with genuine kindness throughout our visit. The Highlights: • Dining: The breakfast was solid—the omelets and the local yogurt with honey were our daily favorites. (Note: For lunch, we’d recommend the buffet over the à la carte menu, or exploring nearby local spots). • Felucca/Sailing: We took a sailboat out from the hotel at sunset. At $30 for 3 people for 1.5 hours, it was reasonably priced and a magical experience. • Convenience: There is a kiosk right outside the hotel gate where you can grab snacks and 1.5L water bottles for about 15 EGP—very handy! Traveler Tips: • Airport Transfer: We pre-booked a taxi from the airport for $4 USD. You can likely find cheaper rates if you hail one at the airport, but pre-booking was very convenient for us. A huge thank you to the management team for turning a potential negative into a highlight of our trip. We highly recommend this hotel for its top-tier service recovery and hospitality!
