Pyramisa Hotel Luxor

Great hotel with excellent service and a lovely atmosphere. Everything was clean and comfortable. A special thank you to Sylvia from Guest Relations for her kindness, professionalism, and wonderful hospitality. She truly made our stay even more enjoyable. Highly recommended!

7 - 12 March 2026 I stayed here for 5 nights on a room-only basis. Booked a room with a Nile view, and the morning view was amazing, especially during sunrise and hot air balloon rides over the West Bank and in the evening light over the West Bank. In-house, they have 3 restaurants: Egyptian, Italian, and Chinese, with a cafe and bar area, a swimming pool, and a gym. They also have a spa and a pier for sunset boat trips trip The location is great, at a 2 km distance from Luxor Temple, the bus station, and the railway station. The room size is great; the bathroom was good, and the only thing missing was a Wi-Fi connection in the room. Wifi connection is only available in the lobby, which is restricted, and if you get connected, the speed is very poor. I would definitely recommend having mobile data as a priority to get in touch with your service providers. Staff were warm, polite and welcoming; they were doing their best to solve the problems or issues if the guest have. I recently stayed at the Pyramisa Hotel in Luxor and had a really good experience. I was a little nervous after reading reviews describing the hotel as dated and the interiors as old, but I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Our room looked just like the pictures on Booking.com, so thankfully it wasn’t a case of the photos being misleading! The breakfast was good, and the staff throughout the hotel were friendly and welcoming. I especially loved the lady working at the breakfast egg station, her name starts with an S, although unfortunately I can’t remember her full name. She was so warm and friendly and really made our breakfasts something to look forward to each morning. The location was also convenient, being around 2km from the train and bus stations, which made getting around quite easy. There’s also a bank with an ATM directly across the street, which was very handy. Overall, I really enjoyed my stay and would happily consider staying here again if I’m back in Luxor.

Our understanding is hotel has just reopened, or undergone major refurbishment. We stayed in the new white wing. Rooms generous and looked new but had issues with air conditioning not working (outside temp was low 40's so really needed it) and bathroom, shower drains and flooding. We mentioned this to reception in morning and had our guide relay the message in Arabic. On our return in afternoon no change, checked at reception who said no one had attended as yet. 3.5 hrs later we had a new room, most of that time waiting on new keys to be sent up, chasing up reception who said we had the new keys. We weren't the only ones in our group to move rooms, there were a few The general customer service was very poor, long waits for food, and wrong food orders. Plenty of staff who appeared to rather chat. A little impolite to order food and drink and gave staff member come up 5 minutes later and ask what did we order. The pool area is nice, the grounds clean, the reception area and bar clean. Customer service needs a lot of work, fix that and be active on maintenance issues and would be nice place to stay
