What a wonderful quiet private island. I stayed in the Delux room and it was very spacious with a huge balcony. There is plenty of staff around to look after you. Shout out to Suzie for always greeting us at the restaurant with a smile and making sure everything was ok. House keeping doing excellent job. The pool staff were particularly attentive and made sure you had clean towels, a good view and drinks if needed. Infinity pool is incredible. We were half board and plenty selection of food. Drinks not even water is ncluded in dinner. Found this usual. Highly recommend staying here for an escape from the busy Luxor but access to all the temples and tombs.

It was one of the most horrible hotel experiences in my life, and I've been to many hostels, 2* hotels and basement Airbnbs. Please avoid this hotel at any cost. First of all, this hotel doesn't deserve 5 stars it has, 3 stars tops. Rooms are outdated and dirty, they look nice on the photo, but it means only that they had good photographer. Reception is overcrowded with only 2 managers working on it, we have to wait for a check in for 40 minutes at the evening. For some reason reception is not a tall desk to stay behind but a table and two chairs, uncomfortable and outdated, I have felt myself looking for a mortgage in the bank, not checking in the hotel. Same in the spa, just an upselling point with average quality of the service and enormous prices. Since the hotel is big all transportation among the territory relies on the golf cars, which you have to wait for 20-30 minutes. I have ordered a golf car in advance since we were leaving at night and nobody came in the right time, even after the second call nobody came, and we had to walk on foot with suitcases until I just caught an empty golf car on the road. The senior manager on the reception was not able to answer to my pretty direct question about why did it happen and how they are going to solve this problem now and further. This is not a service level I expect from a hotel with 120-150€/night price. I expect golf car to come in time if I heard 'ok' on the phone, I expect bathrobes when I have asked for them (never got eventually), I expect tranquility and relax not a 100db bass music outside at 10am, I expect a spa included, not 10€/30min for sauna with creepy spa manager checks every 10 minutes for no reason.
We stayed here as a family of 4 with a 7 yr old and a 12 yr old. I was skeptical about being "so far" from the sites, but it was actually fine. For the days that we toured on our own, the hotel called a taxi for us and they waited for us! (Yes, for 2+ hrs while we toured or ate dinner.) They have pre-negotiated taxi rates that are very reasonable. We tended to pay them extra because they were so accommodating and professional, but probably not necessary. The room was very clean, great A/C, and plenty of room for all 4 of us. You'll pay slightly higher prices for food and such than in the city of Luxor, but it so convenient. We loved having a relaxing and calm place to relax and stay in between historical site visits. Because it is a private island, there is no traffic and very little smoke. The kids loved the beautiful infinity pool and were intrigued by the zoo. (It is meh but nice for a little change.) Service was great, from redoing a burger for our very picky son to getting us checked in when we arrived at 9am! Highly recommend for a resort experience with excursions to sites.
We had a day trip from Hurghada to Luxor via MTB travel guides that arranged an overnight stay at Jolie Ville. We can hand on our hearts say that the pictures we looked at online before MTB shared the overnight accommodation truly underestimate how breath taking this hotel really is. From food, to views and location itself - breathtaking would be an absolute understatement. The buffet spread had a reasonably sized selection in comparison to our other hotel, and felt the falvours and quality of food exceeded 5* quality based on other 5* ratings we have eaten at in Egypt this far. The Dulux room we stayed was spacious, and the interior within felt luxurious, airy and clean. Furthermore, the locations and views from with are quite remarkable. When our transfer drove over the little bride, on to ISLAND over the River Nile, we were blown away with the fact we can officially say we "have slept" on the River Nile without paying on an expensive river cruise. The gardens onsite are really well maintained, with a lot of grass and flowers. After living on sand of 6 days prior, it was really nice to walk through very well maintained outdoor space to see the local plants and wildlife at the other end of the spectrum in Eygpt. Rather than returning to Hurghada for x1 day before our trip to Ciaro, we asked the hotel to stay for one night with a view room over the River Nile. The side of the hotel has it's own little path where you can enjoy the sun set over the Nile and could see the balconies were very spacious and could not resist a cold tipple in peace at sunset the and a little more homemade fresh food. They also have an outdoor heated pool which is great for low seasons, and carts to get around the complex which we was very grateful for throughout. The inside pub had a really nice range of spirits, compared to the common local sourced supply, and felt very modern and almost like being in a pub back home. The complimentary crips and nuts were tasty and a nice touch too. We would highly recommend as experience within itself, not just a hotel. Thank you to Mohamed Emad, Ahmed A Wab and Mostafa Mohsen for their hospitality during our stay.
Highly recommended Luxury Hotel in Luxor. Rooms are spacious, comfortable and reasonable. Staffs are very kind and helpful especially the kitchen managers always ready to provide last minute food arrangements and Felucca ride. The property is beautifully maintained with gardening and located at the banks of Nile River. But the charges for the buffet for kids are a bit high almost the adult price as there were no option for half-board or all inclusive.
