From Lucerne: Swiss Alps, Lauterbrunnen, Beatus Caves Small Group

The day was absolutely perfect! John was a fantastic guide and the places we visited were wonderful. The caves were spectacular!

We originally booked a different experience but this was offered as a substitute and we are so happy! John was an excellent guide and the experiences were exceptional. We had an amazing day!

John was our guide and did an awesome job getting us to all the destinations in a safe and timely manner. He is friendly and knowledgeable and we highly recommend this tour! Our small group consisted of 6 adults which was perfect! All I can say is “Do it”

It was a fabulous way to see Switzerland. We traveled we’re able to see multiple locations, and all of Switzerland’s beauty in these locations. We had nice stops at each location which provided enough time to enjoy the villages. The cave was beautiful. All of our stops were exceptional. Highly recommend this adventure!

Great experience. Definitely got to see a lot of places we wouldn’t have otherwise been able to get to in one day. Walking in Lauterbrunnen was breathtaking. Lunch in grindelwald was amazing. Iseltwald was a great touch - very cute town with nice views along the water which we wouldn’t have otherwise heard/thought to go to. John was great and very knowledgeable and super friendly - Highly recommend!

Well worth the money for the private tour. Matias was excellent, full of knowledge, and flexibility ble with any adjustments. The locations were amazing! The climb to the cave entrance was a lot of steps but I am so happy I made the climb. Well worth it! Recommend the tour and Matias!

I had such a great experience on this tour with John! He was friendly, knowledgeable, and so much fun. He made the tour enjoyable from beginning to end, and his personality really made the experience special. Everything was well organized, and I had a wonderful time. I would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting!! :)

Beautiful itinerary full day. Very scheduled & organized. Spoke English. On time for pick up. Walked with us to some of the areas to enhance Experience & answer questions.

It does require a lot of walking but what an amazing scenery John was a wonderful tour guide and enjoyed hearing all about Switzerland and each location as well as local nuances.

Small group … big views … engaging guide. A great way to see Interlaken plus the cave was a big bonus.

Our guide, John, was wonderful! Loved being picked up and dropped off at the villa! Wished we had stayed longer at Grindelwald and Lauterbrunnen. So much to see! Gorgeous views of the mountains, lakes and waterfalls! Worth every penny!

This is a lovely tour, the caves were amazing and the towns were incredible. Our guide Ben was very informative and kind. A great trip with a small group and perfect if you have teenagers like we do!

Loved this tour! John our guide was great. Very knowledgeable and engaging. The villages we visited were spectacular! Felt like we were living in a beautiful painting! We were traveling with our 88 year old Mother who can walk well but needs rest stops. John was so accommodating. He adjusted as needed to accommodate everyone and took great care to ensure our Mother was comfortable. Highly recommend

We had a wonderful day exploring the Swiss Alps! The towns, lakes & countryside was beautiful. Ben narrated along the way and gave us lots of history about the region. We especially enjoyed the caves and lunch with stunning views of the mountain. It’s a great tour for older teenagers. 👍🏻

Great pick up and drop off. The cave portion was about an hour and we were happy for good shoes and long sleeves with the most beautiful views coming out of the caves. The roads are winding with many beautiful lake views.

This was a great way to see 3-4 locations in one day. The tour guide was on time and knowledgeable and accommodating. Also we got to spend enough time in each spots and take pictures. I always book through viator when I am traveling and only had great experiences so far.

We were staying in Lucerne for a few days and wanted to get out and see some of the smaller mountain towns so we decided to take this tour. Our guide John was very knowledgeable and knew the best scenic areas to see/stop at in each place. He was very personable and went out of his way to make everyone’s day special. We saw several beautiful lakes, experienced the rock formations and running water of the St. Beatus Swiss caves, and spent time in breathtaking Grindelwald, Lauderbrunnen and Iseltwald. We were in a small van with only 8 passengers and were able to do/seen more than on a big bus. Definitely recommend if you get the chance-

Great day tour to Lauterbrunnen, surrounding villages, and cave. The ride was comfortable and the scenery was breathtaking. John did a nice job navigating and showing us the highlights of each village. We had a fabulous lunch with great views at BaseCamp in Grindelwald.

John was an excellent guide getting us around and answering questions. The Mountain View’s were stunning. The color of the lakes were almost magical. This was a great way to get out of the city and see the beautiful countryside and charming villages.

We would highly recommend this tour! Our tour (and guide) was great! The guide shared info about the area and the country. What truly stood out was his care and adaptability. When the weather changed, he ensured our group stayed safe (and dry) while still having an amazing time. We loved the cave even more than we thought we would. And even in the rain all of our stops were beautiful! His friendly attitude and flexibility made the entire trip stress-free.

My husband and I had an absolute blast on this tour! Ben was our guide throughout the day and he was extremely friendly/personable and easy to converse with. Pickup was exactly on schedule and instructions for meetup were clear. This tour takes you to SO many of Switzerland’s most beautiful spots, and I felt like we had just enough time to enjoy them without feeling rushed. This day was absolutely the highlight of our two-week Europe trek, and we would recommend it to anyone that wants a taste of Switzerland with limited time!

If you’re nervous about caves don’t go - also don’t go if you can’t walk on an incline. I was expecting more time in the villages- but I loved the scenery.

The tour was a good choice. Car rides to and from were quick. Ben our guide was very knowledgeable and very patient. I would add that the vehicle need phone charging capabilities and WiFi. Other than that it was great.

Full day trip to explore Swiss villages and st beatus caves. Even though it rained, we enjoyed seeing the small villages, mountains and falls

Wonderful tour experiencing places we would not have gone if not for this tour. The timing of each stop was perfect. The travel van was comfortable and that was mixed with a good amount of walking so we were not just sitting all day. We loved the caves and appreciated that we could see them at our own pace. We captured beautiful photos in each spot. John was a wonderful tour guide and we never felt rushed but definitely made many stops as there is a lot to see. We got our moneys worth on this one!

This trip was the highlight of our Switzerland stay. John our guide was amazing and friendly. He picked us up at our hotel even though it was out of the way and took us back for an extra fee. We got to see beautiful mountains and lakes, the cave was above our expectations, the waterfalls were incredible, and the little towns were quaint! We even got to feed cows! We loved the entire tour!

5 Stars and would give 1,000 Stars. John was awesome, the day trip was incredible!!! When my wife said this was going to be an eight hour day trip, I was a little concerned that it would wear us completely out… On the contrary, I literally just got back and have so much energy. I can’t believe it. First class accommodations in a beautiful tour vehicle… perfect size… Not too big not too small, lots of room. They really know what they are doing. We would drive for a while, then stop and get out and look around and then back traveling and then the cave was the best cave I’ve ever been in in the lunch that we had in the little town that I can’t remember the name of, was over the top. Highly recommend you take this! Great job John!

The walking tour and train tour was great! My least favorite was Interlaken. There wasn’t much to see or do there. Our tour guide, Julia, was very informative and kind.

We saw a lot on the tour…did not go as high as cave because walk too steep. Enjoyed lakes, Alps and waterfalls. A sunny gorgeous day!

John is a perfect tour guide and driver. The trip timing and locations chosen couldn't be beat! The tour visited so many spectacularly beautiful towns in the Swiss Alps, waterfalls, Grindelwald, a lakeside village, and the amazing Beatus Caves. An ideal trip for nature lovers and scenic panoramas. Highly recommend!!!

We chose not to take this experience. In fact, we disembarked from the van. First, they asked change our date with no real reason or explanation. That should’ve been the tip off and we should’ve said no thanks. When they arrived to pick us up they were stuffing were 7 people in a minivan. The tour might have been great but the arrangements were beyond poor.

Our guide John was great - the caves were amazing and the spots we stopped at were a perfect Switzerland introduction - the van was a nice ride - highly recommended!! Worth the value!

We had a wonderful time in the Alpin Valley! John was our tour guide and he was so nice and helpful. The weather was fantastic and the scenery amazing! Although we wish we could have spent more time in each location, we knew it wasn’t possible if we were to see all that we planned. The cave adventure was very beautiful. The walk up is steep, but the views of the lakes and mountains were unbelievable! Grindelwald was a wonderful stop for lunch. Definitely worth the trip if you don’t want any worries and want to just relax and enjoy!

Tour was great, our group loved all the visited places with lots of photos in between. Transportation was great so our guide which was very friendly, knowledgeable and wanted us to make max out of the day. We stopped for lunch at a swiss traditional restaurant, Fondue and Rosti were great.

Our family had an unforgettable day on this trip from Lucerne. The Swiss Alps were incredible, and Lauterbrunnen’s waterfalls were beyond beautiful. The Beatus Caves were fascinating to explore, and Grindelwald was like something out of a postcard. Our guide was friendly and knowledgeable, making the experience even better. Highly recommend!
