Private Full Day Picturesque Tour: Luang Prabang – Kuang Si Waterfall – Ban Pha Nom Cotton Village – Ban Chan Pottery Village – Petanque

A 32-km transfer by minivan takes us from the hotel to Kuang Si Waterfall – one of the most scenic waterfalls in the country. This amazing site features three tiers that cascade 60-metres into azure rock pools. After a short trek through the jungle, we can enjoy a cooling dip in these inviting pools. We then visit a bear rescue center that offers sanctuary to animals rescued from poachers. After lunch at the nearby Carpe Diem Restaurant, we make our return journey to Luang Prabang, with a stop along the way at Ban Pha Nom to observe a traditional cotton weaving process. On arrival in Luang Prabang, we take a ferry across the Mekong River to reach Ban Chan pottery village, a handicraft community which has been active for over 400 years. We then have the opportunity to play the classic French game of petanque with the locals, while enjoying beer and snacks. Private guide, transportation with air-conditioned minivan, entrance fees, lunch and local snacks are included.
