So amazing! The hotel is so beautiful, the pool is amazing, and the staff is very kind. We loved riding the bikes into town. The restaurant is fantastic as well. We arranged with them to do the almsgiving ceremony and it was perfect.

Villa Maydou is an absolute gem in the heart of Luang Prabang. From the moment we arrived, the staff's warm hospitality made us feel right at home. The traditional Lao architecture and beautifully maintained gardens create a serene and authentic atmosphere that's hard to find elsewhere. The rooms were impeccably clean, spacious, and tastefully decorated, blending modern comforts with local charm. The pool area was a perfect spot to relax after a day of exploring, and the on-site restaurant served delicious meals with a great selection of local dishes.

Great heritage hotel with lovely staff, especially Boun Sou in the restaurant at breakfast time. The rooms are awesome with everything you could possibly want or need. The verandahs are lovely to sit on and the pool great to swim in. Quiet location, however walkable to everywhere.
