Lovely hotel, very friendly staff. Owner speaks perfect English and is very helpful, went out of her way on arrival to give us recommendations for things to do around the area, the rest of the staff were also very lovely. They run a free shuttle into the main town at set times of the day which is an added bonus. Amazing pool, very clean and also chlorine free, uses a special system to clean itself which makes the water much better for skin and hair. They also have lots of exciting plans to upgrade the hotel and facilities in the coming years. Definitely recommend!
Honestly this hotel really is a little gem - only stayed 3 nights on our travels, Pinky was so passionate - we where allowed to check in a few hours early, massive bonus after a flight - they do free bike rentals, free shuttle bus to and from the centre - the hotel is so clean, and the pool area is stunning so relaxed and tranquil! Only a 20 minute walk to the centre - beds comfortable, mini bar, toiletries/ dressing gowns etc provided - honestly if we ever get chance to visit Laos again we will definitely be staying here!
Staying at the Vangsavath Hotel was a highlight of my experience in Luang Prabang! The rooms are clean and comfy, the breakfast is delicious, and they have a convenient shuttle to take you to and from the city center throughout the day and into the evening. The city isn’t very big so it’s very easy to get around via the shuttle or walking.
But what makes the hotel experience truly exceptional is Pinky and her family! They go above and beyond to take care of you, make sure you’re enjoying your time in the city, and ask you about your day. I couldn’t recommend this accommodation more and hope to stay here again in the future!
Authentic Laoation hotel. Filled with wooden furniture floors and ceilings, very colonial.
Owners "Pinky" and her mother have spent time and money to build up this hotel, having recently added a nice new swimming pool.
I have also learnt that plans are to add a new Spa amongst other things within the next year. So things are definitely looking positive for them.
After my activities today of a walking tour of Luang Prabang and seeing temples with my guide Ling...a pool is a good place to unwind and cool down.
The breakfast selection, you are asked to provide a list of what you like, I wasnt expecting everything I'd ticked off on the questionnaire...I wont need to eat for a week 😊. Obviously plenty of food is provided.

So many markets and artisan shops to entice you to spend a little on memory making.
We usually don't rate accommodations but this one left a lasting 5-star impression to us while travelling South-East Asia for 6 weeks.
Atmosphere: felt very welcome from the first minute to the last. A big highlight is the super new and beautiful fresh water pool in the backyard. Being there felt like a little private oasis. There are also plans to add a bar, a gym and a sauna.
Rooms: the rooms are clean and equipped with everything you need. We liked the little details like having comfy bathrobes without extra charge.
Location: the Hotel offers a getaway from the crowds in the historic center while being close enough to reach whenever you feel like it.
Transport: The host makes it really convenient to get around. They offer bicycles for short distance and a shuttle service to the night market.
Above all the host Pinky was incredibly nice. She was the main reason why we extended our stay to what we had originally planned.
