booked this hotel. Staff said it is available. When you arrived, they said it is fully book and will send you to another hotel. You should be honest. If it is not avail, tell us it is not avail. Dont just say yes but put us in another hotel. That is a crook !!!
Great boutique hotel in an excellent location right next to the morning market in Luang Prabang. The room was spacious, very clean, and beautifully designed with a lot of warm wood, which made it feel cozy and authentic. The breakfast was tasty, and the WiFi was reliable enough for work. The bed was comfortable. The host was exceptionally friendly and helpful, giving great local tips and being available from early morning until late evening. Even though the hotel is right by the market, it was quiet and pleasant at night. If you enjoy being close to local life, the location is perfect. If you prefer something more secluded, it might not be ideal, but the market is only active in the morning and didn’t bother us at all. Overall, very good value for money, especially if you get a deal. Highly recommended.
We stayed here for 8 nights through a promotion from booking Good - Spacious rooms and great location Bad - The manager, the guy said no to just about anything we requested 1. Wine glasses any glasses - No 2. Hotel provided bicycle brakes need fixing and it's risky to ride them - Can't be done 3. The best - The guy came to our room on the second day and took away the second bed despite us using it and wanting to keep it. When I showed him the room profile and that it came with the second bed he just kept saying "Cheap room, cheap room, no second bed".
The majority of the reviews, in my opinion, do not set the correct expectation, since it is rated as a four star (on booking.com) we expected it to be an okay accomodation. However, the room is extremily humid with bad smell. The breakfast option were just ok, overall not of great quality, additionally the cleanliness of the sheets and towels were not great. Regarding the price, the accomodation is not bad, however it did not fufill our expectations. The positive is the location since it is right next to the royal palace and to the morning and night markets.
We had an amazing experience! Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by the manager with complimentary fruits and drinks while we waited for our room. His English was quite good, which made communication easy. Breakfast was included and absolutely delicious—freshly made to order every morning. The WiFi connection was strong throughout our stay, and the hotel offered convenient services like taxi bookings and tour arrangements. The location couldn’t have been better—right in the heart of town. The night market was less than a block away, and the morning market was right outside the front entrance. We also appreciated that the hotel let us store our luggage after checkout so we could explore more before heading out. Would definitely stay here again!
