The hotel is in a fantastic location and has great potential. However the management needs to do more to cater for the Europeans who love to visit Laos. They need to improve the rooms, who found that we wanted more light in the room and a hand held shower. The breakfast needs to improve too. However the management did their best to make our stay a very comfortable, happy and relaxed experience. Annie and Richard Mead . UK.
This hotel has gone into decline based on previous reviews. The rooms are a nice size but the decor is very poor with no maintenance for a long time. Staff are generally good , the food was terrible especially breakfast. There is no bar area other than reception and the location is out of the town with no restaurants locally to visit. Best thing about the hotel was the pool area although there were areas that needed major maintenance.
I really like the architecture of this hotel. The location is quiet and just a 10 minute ride from downtown. Service was good but in the evenings there was often no one who really spoke English. The menu is pretty limited but when we didn't feel like going into town one night and had dinner there, it was very well cooked. We were disappointed that the drink menu contains cocktails but there was no one there capable of making them (I thought of offering to mix them myself!).
While the hotel does not locate in the centre of the city, it takes only 10-15 minutes drive. The hotel offers a spacious and clean room, a very huge breakfast (for us), and quite and peaceful environment. The receptionist and driver are very attentive, polite and helpful. They are flexible and tried to accommodate our needs. A very impressive service indeed. We definitely enjoyed staying here :)
This hotel hospitality is very good.
I had several requests to have shuttle service to downtown and come back to this hotel. They never refuse and gave us best service.
For breakfast, I went downtown around 5am to join bowling service to monks and came back around 10am, they provided breakfast even after their regular breakfast time.
Only if I want to request to improve is pressure of shower.
Hot water was ready in 4-5 minutes and the power wasn’t enough.
This might be only my room but I would like to take care of this for future guests to use this room.
Overall, I do recommend this hotel even the location is far from downtown, I didn’t have any issue with it.
