A little piece of Paradise !!!! Le Bel Air was amazing all the staff went above and beyond, always making us feel welcome. Excellent food choices and drinks and always delivered with a warm smile and enthusiastic hospitality. A special thanks to the reception staff I got a bad headache and needed paracetamol and he pointed me in the Direction of the closest pharmacist, upon returning I informed him I was refused service, he kindly asked me to return to my room and he will handle it for me. Not long after the he knocked on our door and had paracetamol for me. What a legend. 🤩 The rooms and grounds were always clean and tidy the pool was amazing with a beautiful view We were so grateful to the staff for our wonderful stay, you all made our Holiday experience special.

Receptionist Mr.ford was very rude , not so helpful at all . As we wrer travelling with infant We requested for a taxi multiple times from airport to hotel zero help dint provide service even after requesting, the entire airport was stranded as it was the last flight and only 2 taxi was available ,hotel receptionist lying that the driver came and left back ,such a fraud receptionist creating a bad name for a 5 star hotel, we requested to help with railway booking dint help . For tuktuk he tried to scam us charging extra money 25$ (from hotel to railway station). Other staff was friendly enough to book us a tuktuk for cheap price(10$). Why hire such unfriendly staff in reception. Kindly change the staff . Zero stars for MR.FORD . This is not 5 star hotel at all . I would rate zero or minus onlyyyyy. For other staff members friendly and helpful . We stayed from april 18th to 20th bad service
Le Bel Air Resort Luang Prabang has a distinct French colonial style, visible both in the buildings and in the room we stayed in. The design carries through nicely, and the room felt cohesive and well thought out. Having a large bathroom with a generous counter and two sinks was a real plus. There was ample space for two people traveling with check-in luggage. We also enjoyed the balcony, especially in the evenings and in the morning with tea—it added to the sense of calm. From a practical standpoint, everything worked well. Water pressure was consistently good, there was plenty of hot water, and the air conditioning worked perfectly—something you really appreciate in this climate. This is a great place to relax. With relatively few guests, the property feels quiet and peaceful, offering a nice level of privacy. The atmosphere is calm and beautiful, with lush greenery throughout. Each area feels intentionally arranged, and the poolside zone is especially pleasant. The swimming pool was clean and inviting. The hotel staff was welcoming and accommodating throughout our stay, which added to the overall comfort and ease. We also appreciated the in-room and hotel amenities, including the nicely sized pool with bar service. The shuttle service to and from downtown and the night market was very convenient and made getting around easy. The main shortcoming was breakfast buffet. The selection of Lao food was very limited, and on our last day there were none at all. The Western options were average and felt repetitive. The coffee was particularly disappointing—weak, diluted, and prepared in a basic drip style into a large pot. Overall, this was a relaxing and welcoming stay. With a stronger breakfast offering, this place could easily be a top-notch hotel.
Loved the French colonial buildings, the bungalow we stayed in and the shutters on the windows (even if the locking mechanisms didn't work properly on some of the shutters). I would have preferred it if they had a bathtub, rather than just a shower while having a large counter with two sinks...which is unnecessary. Breakfast was a huge let-down. Milk and yoghurt were expired and the coffee and tea (which I didn't have any of) were instant. Staff didn't ask us if we wanted any, they only requested the room number. Bread was soft and chewy, but the croissants were decent once you put them through the toaster. Jam was nice but the number of breakfast choices was minimal and a disappointment for a hotel at this price point. Location next to the river was great. Inconvenient coming by car though, as you have to come the long way around, as the nearby bridge next to the hotel entrance is only for pedestrians, motorcycles and bicycles...but you can park your car at the hotel and walk to town via the bridge, it's not very far at all.
We booked for 2 nights, but will add one more. We’re here at the end of August and it feels like we’re the only guests here 😅. Haven’t seen any other guests around the property, and we were the only ones at breakfast. I guess it’s kind of nice, feels like a completely private experience. The staff is nice and friendly. The grounds and pool are beautiful, the bed is very comfortable. Walking across the bridge right next to the property towards town felt very sketchy, but after the first few times it was fine. Overall, really nice place, highly recommend 😁
