Our accredited guide will meet you at the lobby of your hotel or at the railway station and will accompany you during all the tour, explaining what you'll see at each level.
During the tour, your guide will show you the birth place of Bernadette Soubirous, the aged fourteen girl who saw our Lady at the grotto in Lourdes.
You will also visit the "Cachot" , the former jail where Bernadette Soubirous was living at the timing of the apparitions.
You will see the font where Bernadette was baptised in our parish church.

What a fantastic day at Lourdes. The site itself is quite spectacular and quite big and you can see it by yourself but I can tell you will be missing all the history and facts about each location. Susan was my tour guide and what a blessing to have her for this experience, she does a wonderful job but on top of that she is very knowledgeable about the context and all facts surrounding each location with her 25+ years of experience living in Lourdes. My appreciation and respect for Susan because she made it more memorable and special.

Susan did an amazing job covering all aspects of Lourdes and truly made it a journey through time. We felt like we were walking in the good steps of Saint Bernadette. She was extremely thorough and entertaining in her guide approach. She went into wonderful detail at the Basilica site to tell us about the history and all the beautiful churches and chapels. We were blown away by her tour. This was by far the best tour guide we have had on any of our various trips and just made it so much fun!

Cathy was an amazing tour guide. She guided us through the history and sites of Lourdes and let us take things at our pace. The highlight of the tour was the sense of peace and beauty of the basilica and the history behind it. The little ones thoroughly enjoyed the stories Cathy relayed as well. We were also lucky to see the olympics torch for the para olympics being passed on in Lourdes on the 25th August! Cathy - thank you for making our trip to Lourdes very memorable.
Our tour guide and I apologize I did not retain her name, is just amazing, very friendly and super knowledgeable to everything she showed us. She charactered to our needs when we needed to take a break as my Mom has difficulty to walk for long period of time but she managed to do most of this tour and was a beautiful tour to take. Our tour guide is the best and i suggest this tour to anyone i recommend this very highly as you won't regret taking this tour. I hope you can add her name as she is the one that did this tour so beautiful and memorable for us.
Amazing walking tour. Phillip did an excellent job highlighting the journey of Bernadette and also gave us an excellent walk through the Lourdes Shrine. He had a lot of historical information and strategically took us to all the important points (water fountains, grotto, etc) when the crowds were less and we avoided queues. Phillip went an extra mile to show us the way back to our hotel and provided recommendations for restaurants in the area. Highly Recommend Phillip.

Susan was a wonderful guide to the shrine complex at Lourdes. She shared lots of relevant information to the sights in front of us, and adjusted our tour itinerary as needed to accommodate our personal interests. When we had to adjust the pacing to account for mobility issues, it was not a problem at all. I will have friends and family visiting Lourdes in the upcoming year and have already shared my strongest recommendation with them.

I can’t say enough good things about this amazing tour. Our guide Susan had so much detailed knowledge about every place we visited. My mom was in a wheelchair and Susan knew the best ways to get in and out of buildings for her. She modified the tour completely to fit our needs. The tour could not have been better, and Susan, our guide, was absolutely delightful. Not only exceptionally knowledgeable, she paced us so carefully on a scorching hot day, and was sensitive to the kids' energy level. It's a bit of walking, but what beautiful site and to be complemented by such a rich history. For the faithful, it's an inspiring day. For the not faithful, it's still a spectacular site of art and culture.

We had a great experience with Cathye our tour guide. She came to the hotel on time and when she found out that we didn’t have breakfast she took us to a coffee shop. She was very knowledgeable about the place. Cathye was like a family. She showed us everything. I highly recommend to get a tour guide like Cathye if you don’t have time to explore the place. We were only there for 1 day having a guide was all worth it.
