Itinerary
Cuban Creations is an inviting and classy bar with comfortable indoor and outdoor seating. It's the only smoking bar in the French Quarter and serves some great historic New Orleans cocktails as its specialties.
Muriel's is considered the most haunted restaurant in the city. It's so famous they keep a table set for the ghost.
Hear the bloody legacy that build Jackson Square, and the story of ill-fated Spanish baroness held prisoner in a moated castle.
We'll briefly introduce voudou, and discuss the life, crimes, and secret power of Voudou Queen Marie Laveau. Oh, she also ran her own secret underground railroad. Routes vary, so tell your guide what stories you'd like included.
We'll see the amazing architecture of the French Quarter, and hear the bizarre, tragic, and sometimes, hilarious stories of those who lived in these buildings.
The oldest bar in New Orleans, and the oldest building to house a bar in the country. Here we will talk about famous pirate and New Orleans Legend, Jean Lafitte! (Drinks not included in cost of tour)
One of the most haunted hotels in the French Quarter, this location once held a... well, if we told you, you wouldn't want to go there!
The most terrifying story in New Orleans history, it also changed the way the city saw itself forever. A high society couple are exposed as the most inhuman serial killers of their age, leaving a house forever stained by its past.
The old Ursulines convent is the source of all the vampire legends in our fair city, some say. Actually, its the source of many legends, not all true.

This was a great tour. The adult only option was really good as we got to stop for cocktails along the way. Our guide was amazing and very good at connecting with the group.
Toured with Dane. It ended up being just the group I was traveling with. So it ended up being a VIP tour, LOL. Dane was great asking if there was anything we wanted to hear specifically. I have done many tours in New Orleans and he was the only one that talked about two specific events so that was nice. Not the same info you hear from everyone.
You walk, it’s a great little tour with fun facts. Our tour guide was great. The purple drank was actually good. The flavor is purple. So do with that what you may, but you gotta drink it!
This was such a great tour and Thomas was AMAZING! He made the whole experience so fun and he was so knowledgeable! He animated every story and he was great to listen to and learn from! I highly recommend this tour and be sure to ask for Thomas if you can!!
Tracey our guide was the best, we got a spooky ghost Polaroid at the end of our tour in front of a haunted mansion.
The tour was great. Dane was our guide and he kept the entire group engaged as he used his story telling skills to tell us about New Orleans history. There are a lot of options and I am glad we chose this one!
Dane was so much fun and very knowledgeable on everything we asked. We explored all the well known places and even some other hidden gems. We didn't feel rushed, were able to take our time and soak in all the beauty.
The guide was great! She was very passionate and engaging! However, the "what to expect" didn't really happen. We were looking forward to visiting some of those places and the bars mentioned, but we only went to one bar, which was a hotel bar and not on the "what to expect" list. Just would have liked to have stuck to that since that is what intrigued us the most after reading it.
This was so much fun! Our guide was personable and knowledgeable. It was one of our favorite things we did on this trip. Highly recommend it!
Josh was a sweet guy and told good stories and history. We ended up being the only 2 people on this tour, so it was a really nice touch to have Josh all to ourselves! I recommend a Sunday evening as it was much quieter in The Quarter.
Such a fun tour and engaging guide! The guide added in additional stories for our group based on our interests throughout the tour. Loved the small group size. We were torn trying to pick a ghost tour for New Orleans, but this one was perfect! If you're looking for a really engaging, fact-based ghost tour with a bit of true crime, vampires, and local cocktails mixed in, then we highly recommend this tour!
Evan was very informative and knew a lot of NOLA history, especially the good stuff!! I highly recommend him! He gave us drink and potty breaks at great places, thank you sir!!
Evan was so knowledgeable, I loved that he has tried to verify some of the stories. our girls group had a great time!
Evan was very knowledgeable and a great storyteller. We learned a lot about architecture and were thrilled with the ghost stories.
Loved this tour! It was a great combo of legends and history. We made two bar stops which was the perfect to grab a drink to walk with. Our guide Evan was perfect- low key, but funny and knowledgeable. Recommend!!
Our tour guide was full of fun information. He shared what he has been able to prove as fact and what is a myth or just not able to prove. Lots of fun.
Excellent tour and thoroughly enjoyed Evan. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. The size of the tour was just perfect!
I think this tour is really cool, but it wasn’t the vibe we were expecting. I booked this for a bachelorette group, thinking it would be a lot more “tipsy” (and frankly more haunted?) than it actually was. We were able to get one drink before the tour started and one drink during— I definitely was expecting more of a drinking focused tour since it’s New Orleans! The info was great (although not super spooky) and we liked our guide Evan, but it was just more of a thing I would’ve done in the day time with my parents than at night as a pregame to going out on Bourbon St. It’s really not a drinking ghost tour, it’s a history tour at night. Still fun, but maybe just not for a bachelorette!
This one did not have many reviews when I stumbled upon it - but I took a chance and hey you had me at starting at the bar! Evan our tour guide was great! his story telling was so on point and kept us wanting to hear more! Was lots of fun and our group had a blast! Thanks for the awesome time Evan!
Excellent tour. Great information that delineates fact and fiction. A couple of nice bar stops added to the night. Knowledgeable guide who answered our many questions about the city and the city’s lore and legends.
Evan was so knowledgeable and fun. Clearly is knowledgeable on the subject matter, but also clearly enjoys it and reads/researches in his own time. He did a great job adjusting to the group. My boyfriend and I were the only two signed up for that tour and he seamlessly adjusted to our style, speed, and interests. Great time and completely recommend.
Went for weekend trip to NOLA. Did total of 4 tours (this one-pass on, I would have passed on). The group size wasn’t bad (12), but all tours seem to occur at same time. Sometimes we were even close to the landmarks being discussed since another tour group was there. Evan wasn’t very loud, or charismatic-just facts spewed at the stops (he seemed rushed at the end, since I believe there is a firm deadline to stop tours at 10 pm)
We had a ball! Jackson was an excellent tour guide, so glad we did this! Definitely recommend booking this weekend tour!
Jackson was knowledgeable and entertaining! It was a great way to see parts of the city on our first night here.
Jackson was personable, funny and knowledgeable. The photos he had to accompany some of the stories was also really cool. Luckily my group was the only ones on his tour for the night so we had an amazing time. Lots of fun, would definitely recommend!
Joshua and the tour were just what I needed to start my experience in New Orleans. Having lucked out with a group of three solo travelers, the tour was truly crafted to us and what we desired to get out of it. I would recommend this tour to any friend that will be coming through NoLa from now on.
Jackson was a great tour guide! Very friendly and informative! We enjoyed that it was a small group and nothing felt rushed. Thank you!
Our tour guide was simply amazing! Jackson was quick witted and was knowledgeable in Louisiana history. My group and I had a great time with his gruesome stories! I recommend you book him with your next haunted tour!😀
So much fun! Jackson was amazing. He was so knowledgeable and very approachable! We had a great time.
Jackson was amazing! We booked him for my bachelorette party and he did amazing! He took us a couple extra places to fit the theme of the night. I appreciated how involved he was and excited to be giving us the tour.
Jackson was the best tour guide! He was very knowledgeable and funny and had great energy. Highlight of my NOLA weekend
Loved having a group of 6, able to get to ask more questions and learn more. The bar stops were great and our guide recommended drinks at the bars to try. Super fun I highly recommend!
Pandora was awesome! This tour had everything. Ghosts, vampires, torture! Not scary, just so many cool places, stories and a whole lot of fun!
"Super fun and informative, the thunder and lightning made it especially spooky. Great job Pandora, you should have a PhD in spooky.
JuJu was amazing and fun! The smaller group allowed us to stay out of the way of the massive groups and actually hear the stories. She gave us the real history and then shared the superstitions surrounding it!
Went here based on the single 5 star review + the fact that the listing shows all the places the tour was supposed to go. It was definitely a smaller and more intimate tour group which was nice, and our tour guide tried to keep it interesting and entertaining and was super sweet. I just wish there were more opportunities to socialize and interact with the tour group itself, especially since it was so small, but it felt a little too much like an informational/formal/educational daytime tour, rather than like a true *drunk* history tour with the perfect mix of alcohol and learning and comedy. Not a bad tour, especially since it was cool to learn about these haunted/voodoo attractions, but not entirely sure it was worth 28 dollars per person.
We had so much fun on our tour with Pandora! She is a great storyteller and showed us some significant haunted locations in the French Quarter!
