Thomas was very informative and was able to put history and haunting together into an enjoyable tour!

Thomas was amazing!!!!! Very knowledgeable and theatrical!!! If you are interested in history this one is worth checking out!!
Shout out to Thomas! Thank you, we had a wonderful time!
The experience was really great and your guide was so amazing! It was worth the price I paid! The tickets were easily assessable and was able to he checked in relatively quickly.
If you want a well thought out tour of haunted locations around New Orleans with great stories and historical facts, this is the tour is the one you want. Our guide (Tracy) was friendly, relatable, humorous, and creative. She made the experience everything it was.
Thomas was wonderful and we heard so many wonderful stories!
Awesome very small group and intimate tour which included both haunted and historic. Thomas was amazing and we could’ve talked all night, thank you so much.
We had a fun and informative evening with Thomas learning about the ghosts that haunt the French Quarter.
Thomas was a great tour guide with a wide knowledge of the history of New Orleans and is able to provide fun tidbits and recommendations about the French Quarter. He is also great at keeping the conversation going and is fun and jovial.
Josh did a great job showing us around Knew a lot about New Orleans cool person and very nice I would recommend him to anyone
This this tour with tour guide Mikko [spelling?] was, sad to say, disappointing. The tour lasted less time than it was supposed to, and we did not visit at least two of the major New Orleans haunted sites that the tour ad represented we would see and hear about. How do you go on a haunted tour and not visit the Lalaurie Mansion and the Old Ursuline Convent? We didn't on this tour. Perhaps it was because Mikko was clearly much more interested in talking after the tour to the pretty women from Santa Monica who were in our tour about a private tour, rather than leading the rest of the tour group to these two famous haunted sites. Like I said, disappointing, especially because we were really looking forward to this tour.
Not exactly haunted tour. More of a history lesson .Very informative but not what our group expected. We did not complete the tour Reviews were fantastic, I do not want to bash the guide Tracy, but it was not what we expected after reading reviews before booking. Tracy was very friendly but got very short. when someone remarked it was more a history lesson. Disappointed.
Fun walking tour with Dane. Lots of history on the dark and spooky around NOLA. Only scratches the surface on what all has happened there but so much packed into the 2nd hours, we will have to come back for another tour! If you’re into the dark and spooky you’ll hear some familiar tales and plenty you haven’t. Dane was great and learning about his experiences was a nice added bonus.
Dane was an excellent guide, informative, funny and our small group made the tour 100x better. Would definitely recommend.
Very informative. Dane kept our attention the whole time. Returned back to hotel to research the stories he told. Very interesting!
Fantastic fun tour! Dane was an amazing guide. If you want to laugh the night away, this is the tour.
We had an absolutely wonderful experience! Since it was just our group, AG took the time to ask what type of tour we wanted and tailored it perfectly to our interests. She masterfully combined tales of hauntings with fascinating historical insights, captivating even my skeptical son. As we strolled through the French Quarter, we were immersed in the city's rich history through stories that ranged from spooky to heartwarming, and every one of them was thoroughly engaging. It was a memorable and entertaining journey through the past!
AG was great! Very knowledgeable and very personable. They gave us history with the spooky flair and also talked to us about the city in general. Great tour!!!
Josh did a great job mixing New Orleans history with haunting stories. Great way to experience the spooky side of the city!
David was great! We were a small group, and he did a wonderful job engaging with all of us. The teen in our family can be reserved and quiet, but he had her chatting away. The stories were fascinating, and he tailored things to our interests. I’d highly recommend the tour based on our experience.
We loved our tour. It was a small group and Aaron was a personable and terrific guide. It wasn’t like the large overwrought ghost and witch tours we passed - just laid back and enjoyable.
I really enjoyed the tour, the other members of the group missed their flight so I ended up with an exclusive tour. Evan was great and I really enjoyed the tour. He was very knowledgeable and friendly we had a great time.
Loved this tour! Evan was great. Liked that he told us super interesting stories and also let us know afterwards what was true and what was legend. LOVE that this was a small group (we just had my group of 5 plus one other person). Highly recommend!!
Evan did an excellent job; he was formative and interesting in the history and ghost stories he told.
Evan was awesome! Supremely knowledgeable, with accurate facts and riveting stories while being modest about it all. It’s clear he’s done his homework and knows his history! If you’re looking for a showman this isn’t the tour for you, but if you want interesting and real stories from a smart guy, consider this tour.
This was the perfect “first night in New Orleans” thing to do after dinner, with the added bonus of helping us learn our way around the French Quarter. Small group size made it way more personal, and our tour guide, Evan was super knowledgable without being corny or theatrical about it. We appreciated the blend of history + “haunted” and it’s definitely for people who want a next-level tour experience beyond just vampires and voodoo
We did a tour with Evan and he was our kind of tour guide, in that he wasn't a "character" guide, with a top hat and eye patch and some corny schtick. He had tons of information, and seemed genuinely excited to share his knowledge of New Orleans. His stories were captivating, and he had obviously researched them thoroughly, pointing out which parts could be verified as true, and which parts were possibly just a good story. We enjoyed it very much!
Very fun way to learn NOLA history through some gruesome stories and spooky myths. Definitely recommend for people who have never been to the area before!
Fascinating history and our guide Evan was a great speaker. We learned a lot about New Orleans history. Would do it again!
We enjoyed all the knowledge Evan shared with us about the history and mysteries. He was very informative and gave us a a great insight to the truths and the myths of New Orleans lifestyle and its most popular murders.
We enjoyed the factual information more than the supposed haunting information that most tours provide for effects. Our tour guide, sorry, forgot first name, had the same last name as me. I have had the other tours before and I enjoyed this one the most.
Rather boring. Not worth the money. A few interesting facts. Stupid bar stop that wasted time. I did a city tour in the afternoon that was better.
I really liked this tour. It was an interesting peek into the spooky, macabre, and even a little grisly history of New Orleans. I would recommend doing the later tour than the earlier. It adds to the atmosphere if it’s avpitch black sky and darkened streets. At no time are the streets empty though because, being NOLA, there is always something going on. I brought my 14 year old son along and it seemed age-appropriate for him. I totally recommend Spectral City Tours!
I wish that I could remember our tour guides name because he was absolutely amazing. His level of the history in the area was superb, as well as his storytelling! This is not the trip where you’re gonna learn about all the fluffy vampires and old wise tales. It was much more factual based, which I very much appreciated. We went on September 4th @ 8pm, there was a lot going on, but we moved around the city with relative ease and it was by far my favorite tour of the five that we did!
Loved our experience with Evan. He did his research and had an amazing knack for storytelling (especially the haunted kind). We learnt about the city and some gory history. Definitely recommend
I was in town for a work conference and my friends happened to be in town for their anniversary. We decided to meet up and do some fun sight seeing since we haven't seen each other in over 3 yrs. They booked this tour and it was wonderful. Evan was our guide and his knowledge of the history of New Orleans (specifically French Quarter) was so impressive. I really appreciated that. Give this handsome devil a raise!! The group was small compared to other tour company's I witnessed that night and it made it more intimate and personal. I recommend this tour and specifically Evan as the guide to anyone wanting to learn some of the most infamous French Quarter stories.
Our tourguide, Jackson was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We enjoyed the tour. The ghost tour was great
Had a great time on the tour, with the best tour guide! Really enjoyed all the facts we learned while on the tour. Tour guide was so friendly & made sure the tour was to our liking, answering any questions we had. Will definitely be back! Thanks for a fun time Jackson!
This tour was exactly what we wanted! It ended up just being the 3 of us in our party and we heard lots of great stories. Really enjoyed ourselves
We got Jackson to ourselves on our Sunday afternoon tour which made it nice intimate experience. Jackson asked us our interests at the outset and worked to tailor his stories to our interests - a nice touch. He was also great at avoiding all the other miscellaneous tours and street artists to find a quiet spot for us.
Having spent five weeks vacationing in New Orleans, I looked forward to this tour during my final week. The guide arrived on time. As this was a Monday, the regular Historial guide was offf. My spouse and I were fortunate to be the sole guests. Although the tour guide was very entertaining, I was disappointed by the considerable factual errors. His stories were intentionally titillating which would be fine for teenagers. Nevertheless they lacked historical accuracy. My spouse and I work for museums and knew the facts about the various stories told. Although we enjoyed the tour, we would have appreciated honesty instead of “carnival” stories. Feel free to contact for specific details.
Due to COVID, we were fortunate enough to get our very own tour for our family (4) for the French Quarter Hauntings & History tour. Jackson was very knowledgeable and shared some of the fascinating history and heinous crimes of New Orleans past in an entertaining and engaging manner. It was an easy walk (mind the potholes!) and the time flew by. Afterwards, both kids (13 F & 15 M) said they wished we could have done the tour sooner, because it really made them more aware of the architecture and history all around us!
Lynx is extremely knowledgeable and caters the tour to the interests of the group. We were interested in architecture, ghost stories and medical history (two doctors on the group), so we put that into the tour. It was amazing. We even finished the tour with a beer at a cool bar. He is immensely entertaining and I will definitely book a tour with him next time I am in NOLA
This was such a fun tour! Good value, and Pandora was really sweet, enthusiastic, and knowledgeable. Would definitely recommend!
We thought this was going to have some spooky ghost stories. It was more like a social studies class but not so interesting. Could be that we have visited NOLA many times and already had a good handle on the history.
We met up with Charlie outside the coffee shop and we were pleasantly surprised to find just the three of us on the tour. When they talked about small groups they meant it. The walking tour was great we learned about history, death, fires and ghosts. The pace of the tour was fantastic. Charlie answered lots of questions and gave us tips on what to do next. The best part was we walked by multiple other groups of 10-20 people doing the same type of tour with different companies. Being in such a small group was so much more pleasant.
We had a fun tour checking out the sites with some good story telling. Its nice and eerie at night which adds to the atmosphere
This was a fun, spooky, tour and our guide was excellent. We passed many other tours with huge groups and the small group tour is much better. You have the opportunity to ask questions and to actually hear all of the information. The break (for restrooms or drinks) was also much needed. I would highly recommend this tour.
I just loved the small group and the ghost story’s It was easy to join the group because of the clear meetingpoint.
The details passed along with this tour stayed with me long after it was over. There were active demonstrations with questions and answers. Pandora brought history to life which was impactful.
