Great experience, tour guide was very knowledgeable about the history of the homes. Had great weather and some of the homes were decorated for Halloween.

Our God was very informative explained everything we need to know about the surroundings toughly enjoyed it
Brian was a great guide…very knowledgeable with all things New Orleans, both past and present. Would highly, highly recommend the tour and him specifically.
It was a great experience and enjoyable tour guide with lots of information about the area and the homes.
This tour had the potential to be interesting however the guide was not up to the task. Too much time was spent discussing unrelated matters. His personal relationships, European travel, high school adventures, and family dynamics became the focus of much of the narrative. He admitted he spent so much time talking we had to miss some points of interest while rushing to the finish. Overall it was a nice day for a walk in a pretty neighborhood that became tedious because of guide.
Have been on Garden District tours before. Dom was incredibly knowlegeble and kept an easy pace. Was a bit more academic vs. storytelling.
Great garden tour with Barbara. Very informative and fun.
Tour was good covering the area. Guide talk was very knowledgeable but talked a lot about his personal and family history in NOLA. Interesting but not why we booked the tour
Cannot say enough! Excellent tour, excellent guide (Dane) on top of a beautiful day. Small group is the only way to go. Dante was entertaining, knowledgeable, fun- great stories and interesting history. 5+ stars!
Great mix of history and current events, Barbara was really engaging!
Informative and relaxed tour with Barbara was wonderful!
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ If you’re going to walk the Garden District, do it with Barbara — she’s basically a historian, storyteller, and referee for bad dad jokes all in one. The tour was packed with gorgeous homes, fascinating stories, and trivia questions where the only prize was Mardi Gras beads (which I may or may not now consider high-value currency). Barbara somehow managed to educate us, keep the group moving, and politely tolerate every pun I threw out like it was open-mic night. True professional. Great pace, great stories, great laughs — and I left smarter, sweatier, and slightly more bedazzled. Highly recommend — especially if you enjoy history with a side of humor and beads. 🎭
Very informative. Excellent host and guide. Stopped at a great deli for drinks and a snack. Highly recommend
Mikko was very interesting and entertaining. Learned a lot about famous people who have lived in the district. Be aware that sidewalks are very uneven.
Our guide was both witty and knowlegeable, and the Garden District is a lovely place to walk....I took a zillion photos! Highly recommend this tour!
Mikko was an amazing tour guide. Knowledgeable and funny. He took the group around a few blocks of the district and pointed out interesting details regarding the homes and community.
Good tour. Knowledgeable, personable, and interesting guide. However, the cemetery is closed and has been for years. So we stood outside looking through the locked gate. Should let everyone know they are not actually going into the cemetery. Fortunately, we saw another one during a 4 hr city tour.
The tour was fun. We enjoyed ourselves and the tour guide was very knowledgeable and interesting! Would definitely recommend!
Dominic was great! This was first time here and he definitely knew the history of New Orleans. We would recommend him again.
Dane was a great guide! He was very knowledgeable and we loved his enthusiasm. We enjoyed seeing the Garden District and hearing some history of the area.
We took 3 tours in NOLA. This was by far the best. Mikko, our tour guide was knowledgeable. We gained so much insight of the architecture of NO. Lovely.
Barbara was a fountain of historical and architectural details as she took us on a wonderful walk through the gorgeous homes in the garden district. Well worth our time we would do it again.
This was a lovely walking tour so definitely wear comfortable shoes and bring water to drink since New Orleans is hot and sticky! Dane was the perfect tour guide - personable, funny and knowledgeable. Easily the most engaging tour guide we’ve ever had!
Dominic was our guide and…man, what a wealth of information he had to share! May have been his educator background, but we had a great time walking the streets and learning the area’s architectural and historical significance. Meeting several large groups along the way, I would definitely prefer the small group (3) we had! It was hot and humid the day we went and we headed to Magazine Street afterwards to grab and bite and something cold to drink!
A lovely and fun way to see the French Quarter! Our guide was funny and informative. Definitely worth it!
We had an amazing time with Barbara as our tour guide! She was incredibly knowledgeable, and it was clear that she truly loves what she does. I especially enjoyed learning about the history of the houses and their unique architecture. Barbara had a knack for pointing out the little details that made everything extra special, which really brought the tour to life. Her passion and attention to detail made the experience memorable, and I would highly recommend her tour to anyone interested in diving into the local history and culture. I would definitely recommend wearing tennis shoes for this tour. The sidewalks can be quite uneven due to the roots of the live oak trees, which can make walking a bit challenging in certain areas. Comfortable footwear will make the experience much easier and more enjoyable!

Mikko was so much fun! He gave a great mix of stories, insider tips and fun conversation for our tour. I love Uniquenola tours! They’re worth every penny!
We had a very thorough tour of the Garden District, seeing all of the beautiful historic mansions, hearing of the histories, celebrity info, etc. Our guide was very knowledgeable and had all kinds of cool stories to tell. I even got to "go to France" without a passport by sticking my hand through the fence at the French Consulate. It was a VERY thorough 2 hour tour!
Our tour guide , Niko, was great , He was very friendly and approachable and he had a deep knowledge of The Garden District and New Orleans in general, He seemed to have a personal story to go with many of the fabulous houses , many of which are deceptively large. I found the variety of architectural styles and stories behind them fascinating
Great tour by Mikko. Learned a lot about the Garden District and a better appreciation for the neighborhood.
Dane was fantastic! He knew so much about the architecture of the homes in the garden district and was a captivating historian and story teller. We loved this tour
I really love architecture and history so this was the perfect tour for me and my friend. Our guide Dane was EXCELLENT. He shared very interesting information and stories sprinkled with a bit of humor and fun. The tour lasted 2 hours, but could have listened to Dane's stories all day. We had a great time and I highly recommend this tour!
The tour was interesting and supported our interest in learning about the architectural characteristics of the neighborhood plus lots of historical information. It was a great time. Dane kept it at a great pace and the small group allowed discussion and interaction within the group.
The tour guide, Mikko, was so so knowledgeable and gave us a “local” experience. We passed by so different architectural styles, the AHS Coven house, John Goodmans. It was amazing and lovely!
Really enjoyed the tour with Mikko. Super informative and charming guy. Highly recommended for people looking to learn a little more about New Orleans :)
Honestly it was great, Mikko was very knowledgeable and funny along the whole tour! Would definitely take another tour!
Mikko was great! He knew so much about the Garden District and it's history. Definitely recommend hanging out with him for a bit!
Mikko was an amazing tour guide! Made great conversation, great storyteller, answered any questions we had and even gave us some restaurant recommendations for the remainder of our stay.
if you enjoy an architecture nerd intricately fused with someone reminiscent of your favorite wise-cracking high school teacher, that is the curated vibe of the charming Mikko. he was very thoughtful in finding shaded spots for us to stand on this balmy labor day before yapping about the varied gorgeous houses peppering the streets of the garden district. thank you so much for your insight, and if you need a shoulder for balance, i gotchu. -your american legion friends from post #152
We did the Garden District Tour with Mikko. He was a nice and knowledgeable tour guide with a good New Orleans sense of humor. 👍
I enjoyed the guild with all the information we were told about these houses!! Took lots of pictures!! It was amazing!!!
The tour guide Mikko was so nice and had amazing witty humor that made the tour extra enjoyable. He was very knowledgeable and it was so nice to hear the history of the district and see amazing houses. Absolutely loved our tour!!
Barbara, our tour guide, was amazing. She was very knowledgeable about the garden district, the walking tour we took, and shared that knowledge with us. She kept the pace reasonable, but to all the points she, and we, want to see.
Mikko was a wonderful tour guide who is very knowledgeable! I ended getting a private tour and he was very personable and funny. Ended up doing the garden district tour and it was stunning and I learned so much from Mikki from the architectural designs, the history, famous people that have lived in the homes even to the different types of foliage and flowers that are native to Louisiana. I would absolutely recommend a tour with Mikki and will do another tour with him in the future.
Our tour guide was Dane. He was very informative and knowledgeable. We enjoyed our tour very much. The garden district is beautiful and is a must if you are visiting New Orleans. This was our first time touring this area and so glad we did.
Dane was a wonderful guide that made the tour a great experience! His knowledge, enthusiasm and energy was fantastic! Highly recommend his tour.
We loved the garden district tour!!! Mike was very knowledgeable and friendly. It was fun hearing stories, history, seeing some celebrity homes and homes that were in films. The mansions and gardens were also beautiful.
