Small-group French Quarter Haunted Ghost Tour

Barrett was a great guide for our ghost tour - an excellent story teller with deep knowledge of real New Orleans history, layered with just a bit of creepy, spooky lore. Very fun!

Our guide, Phill, creatively wove the history of the French Quarter with the spooky stories of some of its more infamous ghosts. This is a fun tour and filled with great info. Phill kept his stories going strong without gore or voodoo.

Small group makes the experience so much more authentic, and let’s room for questions. Our guide did not just talked about ghosts, but also about the history of the City.

There is alot of history and stories about norbid new orleans history. But its super interesting. I loved it

Such an amazing tour! Our guide was extremely personable and really went above and beyond. He filled us in on all the New Orleans history and relevant ghost reports associated with many of the famous locations. It was a fantastic mix of real life tragedy and unexplainable mystery. It was just me and my boyfriend in the tour group, so it felt extra personalized. Definitely recommend this company!!

This is a perfect tour if you want to experience the true ghost stories and history of the French Quarter. Adelaide, a native Cajun was an amazing guide. We enjoyed engaging storytelling and in depth history of New Orleans and Louisiana. We have been on other Ghost tours of the French Quarter and this was the best!

We thoroughly enjoyed our ghost themed walking tour with Barrett. He was really funny and so knowledgeable. Walking to the sites of historic buildings and hearing their (sometimes gruesome) stores was a great way to learn more about New Orleans history. Having a small group made it all the better. We would definitely recommend this tour.

Adelai was truly amazing. She is a spirited and passionate actor who really lives into the stories she tells. It was really fun to learn so much NOLA history from her. What a memorable evening!

The small group is the way to go. Don’t get stuck on a tour with 20+ people like the other ones. Our guide Barrett was awesome too.

Fantastic tour! Entertaining, informative, detailed and still kept small. We saw groups of 50+ people and they did not look like they had a good time. Our guide was so entertaining, listened to my daughters questions and I wish I could give 10 stars.

I have been on ghost tours around the world, and Barrett is probably one of the best guides I have had the pleasure of following. The group was small, of course, so the entire evening was much more intimate than the massive ghost tours going around us. Barrett is incredibly knowledgeable about a variety of subjects. However, the best part is watching him tell the ACTUAL histories of locations and then adding in the spectre side of the story. I am so excited for my next tour with this company on Friday. If it is anything like what Barrett provided, it will be well worth the entire trip. (Context: I came for Taylor Swift in NOLA.) (I know this sounds overzealous, but it was seriously an amazing tour that is entertaining, informative, and highly safety conscious.)

We spent 2 hours walking through the streets of the French Quarter with Adelai as part of the Ghost Tours and it was the most fascinating night of our stay! Adelai provided very impressive historical knowledge not only of New Orleans but also Louisiana, and the different backgrounds of people that make up the community and spirituality of the city today. She was both entertaining and educational and had us hooked on her every word! We couldn’t believe the time has passed so quickly. We ended up just being our party for the tour so we were able to ask a lot of questions and go into various topics of interest. It was also fascinating to hear about her own family background and commitment to preserving the culture of New Orleans. If you’re looking for someone who is a true NOLA local and cultural ambassador we highly recommend booking New Orleans Secret Tours and Adelai :)

Adelaide (sorry if I spelled your name wrong) was magnificent! She presented her excellent information in a stage entertainers manner. Lol, very dramatic! We loved the small group concept;it was easy to hear and interact with our guide.

Great tour with Adelaie (blue hair)! Have done this tour before in the past with this company but first time with this guide-she was very charismatic and passionate about showing us the dark side of New Orleans history. Highly recommend!

Adela is the ABSOLUTE best!!! We took the cocktail tour with her the day and thoroughly enjoyed her humor, knowledge, and performance. So much so, in fact, that we told her we had a tour next day. Lo and behold - she arranged to be our tour guide again. And we had just as much fun! I cannot recommend her more. And the group size is PERFECT!

I was in New Orleans for a Bachelorette party, and we booked two tours with New Orleans Secrets Tours. We did the Cocktail Tour and the Ghosts of the French Quarter Tour which were both exceptional. We had the pleasure of being led by Adelai who was an absolute rockstar. She made our group feel welcomed and was able to customize the information she shared based on our groups interests. We had a blast, and I will be recommending New Orleans Secret Tours to anyone traveling to the area and looking for a tour. I also hope to go on more tours the next time I'm in town!

Ty is a local, an excellent story teller and terrific, very engaging guide. Learned a lot of history and context. Went with our family (14, 15 and 20 years old). Very fun!! Highly recommend.

In my humble opinion, an absolute must! Originally I thought, ghost tour, cheesy and trite, but it so wasn't the case. From the friendly staff that greets you upon arrival to the knowledgeable, thoughtful tour guide of the ghost stories, it was all thoroughly enjoyable. It felt more like history coming to life. And was definitely one of the highlights of my trip. I would highly recommend to everyone. 

We did this tour while we’d were in town for a bachelorette party. We lucked out and ended up being the only group that night. Our guide was a lot of fun and super knowledgeable about New Orleans history, architecture, and haunted sites! He shared his own personal experiences with ghosts and experiences that other friends and tour members had shared with him in the past. He gave us recommendations on other things to do, places to eat, and things to see. He was incredibly personable and friendly. My favorite part of this tour though was the small size. They max all yours out at 9 people. We passed several other tour groups while we were out that night that had ~30+ members. I have been on yours like that in the past and it is always hard to hear/ understand what the guides are saying and you get much less interaction with the guides so you don’t get to ask questions or hear little side anecdotes and stories. In my opinion this tour is a much better value than the larger crowded tours. This was an excellent tour for anyone interested in the spooky side of New Orleans!

Great and Entertaining History Lesson This was our last tour in New Orleans. We’d already heard a lot of the fascinating history of the city but in this tour, with ghosts as a pretext, our guide Ty filled in many of the fascinating details of episodes we’d already heard and added a few more story lined which added up to a very informative and enjoyable walk about the French Quarter. Highly recommended.

Angela is THE BEST! A "MUST DO" in New Orleans even if you have been there prior. I would highly recommend all the tours offered. I really enjoyed everything. Angela is a gem! Kim

Besides the stench of urine, the tour was great, Brittawnee kept it light, interesting and could tell she was really into what she was telling about. Brittawnee was very alert of others coming by, keeping us in line for safety and ended with a little something special. Really enjoyed and would recommend again but most definitely with Brittawnee Enos.

Roger was a fantastic tour guide for the ghost tour I took this evening. He is clearly very well-educated in the material and I could tell that he really enjoys sharing his city with visitors. Roger clearly explained what to expect on the tour. He was very interactive, funny and definitely a smart guy. I would take a tour with him again.
