I really enjoyed our tour with Bob. He was informative and funny. I liked that he had a personal connection to some of the stories. You can really feel his connection to New Orleans history.

Itinerary
Follow your guide through the legendary French Quarter, also known as the Vieux Carré, the oldest neighborhood in New Orleans. This eerie, chilling yet fun-filled adventure takes you to several sites of documented hauntings by the region’s ghosts and spirits. See the French Quarter residences in which unbelievable events took place and visit a haunted bar along the way. You’ll get the shivers amid the shadows as you descend into New Orleans’ grim and grisly past, and discover thrilling tales of supernatural activity – try to capture it in a photo if you dare!
The most iconic "square" in history. This public park was originally called Place d' Arms, or place of arms. Many an execution took place in this area leaving behind the trauma that we call a haunting.
This famous alley was used by pirates such as Jean Lafitte as a black market to sell goods stolen from Spanish ships in the Gulf of Mexico and the Caribbean. Many a deal gone wrong was settled by a duel in its neighboring garden. The sounds of the market place and the dueling gardens are said to be heard in the wee hours of the morning.
Most of our haunted tours include a break in a haunted bar (except for youth private groups). This iconic bar is a favorite for many guests. Once used as a blacksmith shop, it is the oldest operating bar in the country. It is home to a wide array of ghosts including that of Jean Lafitte it is said.
Mad Madame LaLaurie is the most infamous murderer and most hated in our city's history. Find out why!
The party never ends and neither do the spirits' activity on Bourbon Street.

Wonderful experience. Great stories. The orphan boy story was fantastic. Recommend.
Bob was awesome. Would definitely recommend
The tour was amazing and our guide, Ariadne was awesome! She is full of life and told such spooky and entertaining stories. I learned so much about the ghostly history of New Orleans. Highly recommend.
Ariadne was our guide and she did a fantastic job! The two hours flew by!
This tour is true to New Orleans history with haunting ghost stories to spice things up. Ariadne was an amazing tour guide. She is an excellent story teller weaving human history and the supernatural effortlessly together to demonstrate a plot that either leaves your job dropped in shock or teeth chattering out of fear. She was funny and knowledgeable, and captivated us the whole way through. Don’t miss this tour. It’s tied for the number one highlight of our week long trip (we did a lot and this tour is on top).
Outstanding tour! Our guide was Ariadne Blayde. I highly recommend this tour and tour guide. I actually caught an orb pic at The La Laurie Mansion! One usually thinks some of this stuff is made up; however, you can research these sites and learn the history. Definitely worth the low price!!
Oh my god! This was our third trip to the Crescent City. We've done walking tours each time. This was easily the best experience yet. Ariadne Blayde was nothing short of phenomenal.
Our tour guide Yah Yah was amazing. We had a private tour with her and each of her stories was gripping and hilarious. Albeit they each ended sadly. The kids loved her and we really connected with her. Definitely ask for Yah Yah the Black Cat of the French Quarter — she’s not just a tour guide…she’s an experience.
This tour is actually called the Ghosts and Legends tour! Ariadne was very interesting and informative she answered all of our questions. We did not feel rushed even on our break, she took her time giving us the history and background on each of the locations we visited. We also ended our tour on the waterfront, which was nice to get some fresh air since it was so hot outside.
Was a really wonderful experience, all thanks to our guide Ariadne! She was very friendly and did a great job of storytelling. Really immersive tour, would definitely recommend.
Ariadne was phenomenal!!! Will definitely be recommending not only the tour, but her as a guide. I’m a huge history nerd, and horror fan, and she coupled the two together like lamb and tuna fish! 🤌🏻 Thank you again! 🤙🏻
Ariadne was a great tour guide. She demonstrated true appreciation and respect for the history and current story of New Orleans. We loved the tour !
We took this tour last night. We are from Portland Oregon and my girl had never been to New Orleans and so for our first night here I surprised her with this tour because she is a big true crimes, history and ghost stories fanatic. Our tour guide Ariadne was fun, knowledgeable, friendly and a great speaker.
Ariadne was an amazing guide and made the tour incredible. Her knowledge of the history of each site and way she told the stories made it a great experience!
Bob was great, ask for him, what a character. He has been living there for 50 years and knew everything about everything.
Ask for Ariadne!! She is an absolute blast and totally scary in the most adorable way. Me and my teen girls absolutely loved this tour. It was a must for NOLA!
Amazing tour! The best guide, Ariadne. She was so knowledgeable & entertaining. We learned a lot. Be smarter than me! Wear good walking shoes & byowater! ;)
My fiance and I had a great time and learned alot about New Orleans and got some spooky stories. Our tour guid Christian was great and passionate about his tales and can shoot out facts like a machine gun. Plus he had some bad puns worth a good chuckle. Would love to go again next time we visit!
Randy was our tour guide, he was very knowledgeable and engaging! The tour was fun & exciting. He involved the group and cracked some jokes while telling us all about the history and paranormal possibilities. 10/10!
Ariadne is a fabulous storyteller with a wealth of knowledge about local lore. We loved the tour and the sites we visited, and having an engaging and interesting host made the stories come alive. Thank you!
Ariadne was so great! She took us to the all the place that have the highest amount of haunting. We got the chance to go inside a haunted bar. She was amazing and very animated adding to the experience! I highly recommend doing this tour with Ariadne.
We booked a private ghost tour. Tour guide never showed up. I called tour company and they have no record of a private tour booking for that time and if they did that meeting spot I was given was incorrect . Tour company stated that Viator is responsible and when I called Viator they state tour company has to approve the refund. I am
Toast was an amazing tour guide! Lots of information to impart of death and cemetery. Nola does have amazing history. Must do!
Great your with Bob! Had a lot of fun with the stories about the city. I recommend that your for sure if you're in town here in NOLA
There is something about Bob. Bob took our 8 person tour on a wild ride with his charismatic personality. We learned a few juicy tid bits of New Orleans history, heard some ghostly tales and laughed at on point millennial jokes! I highly recommend his tour specifically, he does not disappoint. He also made sure everyone was safe from Bourbon Streets driver.
When traveling I always like to find a good tour that will help me learn more about the place I’m visiting and this tour did just that!! My partner and I booked the new tour - Secrets, Sinner’s, & all that Jazz - and luckily enough we were the only two on it for the day (guessing the rain scared others away). Despite the rain, we had a wonderful experience with our guide Toast! He was very informative and funny! I highly recommend him when booking through this company (he does a few other tours as well so if Jazz isn’t your thing that’s ok)! Toast did an amazing job pairing history with not only what we were seeing but music snippets and news articles. And he will even give you his play list if you want it! All and all it was a great experience and packed a lot of information into two hours! Definitely worth it!
We did a private haunted tour. Claire was a wonderful tour guide! She asked us several questions about our past visits to New Orleans, she wanted to make sure she gave us different information than we received on previous trips! Her historic knowledge is excellent.
I was fortunate enough to take TWO tours with this company within the last few weeks. Both tour guides and tours were PHENOMENAL!!! I always thought these were hokey tours for drunk tourists but as a local, I couldn't have been more wrong! My first tour was with Lacey. She gave us a very intriguing history of certain events and hauntings throughout the French Quarter. Stories I had never heard after living here for 15 years! Her tales made me want to return to these places to look for ghosts in the future! My second tour was with Drew, who is an AMAZING storyteller! His expressive phrasing and drama kept our attention the entire time, despite the drinks and bar breaks! I highly recommend these tours. Even as a local, I learned so many new things about the city I love and can't wait to see more!
So much fun! Toast was an amazing guide. Super informational and fun. We absolutely loved it. A great way to see the city and learn about it's history.
I'm a 15 year old and I highly recommend coming and trying this out! It gives a tour of New Orleans while you're getting told interesting and creepy stories about it's past. My tour guide Ariadne was amazing and had some very interesting personal stories of creepy stuff that happened to her in this city. If your a non believer in ghosts I still recommend giving it a try and remember to ask for Ariadne!
My wife and I attended the ghost tour on a Friday night with tour guide Ariadne. She really set the mood and brought the history to life. Thank you as we would recommend this to all. Great experience.
I visited from Miami with my mom, grandma, and husband and the ghost tour was very informative! Toast did an amazing job educating and protecting us from being exposed to harmful energies. Both my mom and myself felt a few things on the tour! We will be back and 100% request Toast! And yes, I did catch a few things on film :)
Thorn was awesome for our group of 14! Our group took pictures at some of the spots and you can clearly see the ghosts in our photos. This tour is the real deal
Our guide Lucy was great. Very informative and lively in her telling of the stories of the locales we stopped at. Also Finnegan’s easy bar sells two for one drinks to all tour attendees all night - my advice is drink up after tour so you can be lucid enough during ;). Here’s my one photo with a possible orb at the balcony site of a bloody death. Thanks Lucy!
Our guide was Ariana. Interesting, well narrated, fun but some amputation details dispensable. It's supposed to be mysterious and haunted, not disgusting. Worth it, anyway.
