Boarding time is 6:30 p.m and and lasts until the boat cruises promptly at 7:00 pm. Cruising duration is 2 hours, ending at 9:00 p.m. During your cruise, Jazz will play throughout the night while the sun sets and stars begin to illuminate behind southern clouds. Indulge in a delicious Creole Dinner Buffet in a richly appointed dining room designed with plush Victorian style draperies and soft period lighting. Menu items may include: red beans and rice, jambalaya, Cajun Seafood Pasta, Cajun Braised Beef Brisket, Chicken & Sausage Gumbo, our signature White Chocolate Bread Pudding with Whiskey Sauce, and more! Make sure to grab a drink at our bar made of Louisiana cypress and adorned with brass railings for a warm and inviting setting. Then take the stairs to our promenade deck for a night to remember. Let the sweet breeze from the Mighty Mississippi intoxicate your senses while you dance the night away among the stars.
A beautiful experience cruising down the Mississippi. Food was delicious. Our server Ebony was fantastic. She was very helpful and efficient. The jazz band was amazing. Great music and great sense of humor. I highly recommend this dinner cruise.
When visiting NOLA, it's a must do! We went on the night cruise which was incredible and enjoyed a delicious buffet. Highly recommend for those who are first timers and those who just enjoy the lights of this vibrant city.
The food was mediocre at best, not worth the cost. We were disappointed in the service and also we got there at 6:45, but it appeared that the majority of the people got there well before us and were done eating and already atop deck sitting at tables listening to the music. The music was nice and the boat ride itself was fine. I would recommend skipping the food and eating better food before boarding and just enjoy the music and the ride up and down the river. It wasn’t stated at all that we could get there early and eat. Plus the food was cold by the time we ate.
The cruise started timely, the music was soothing, and the customer service was great. We had a great time

Immaculate! The jazz was wonderful. THE MAIN ATTRACTION THOUGH WAS THE PADDLEWHEELER!!!! this experience was very autistic friendly:). Not very overwhelming at all, and the environment was pretty calm!!! As a disabled person, I recommend 10/10!! I love steamboats:). I wish i was back on it:(

Everyone should take a ride on the paddleboat. The food and music were great and there are a ton of great places for photos.
We got the dinner package and to be honest the was not the best I feel the variety is good for people who don’t eat seafood but flavor-wise it didn’t meet our expectations. Everything else was nice.
My Mom and I enjoyed this boat tour. It was maybe a little long. The best parts were the jazz band, the city skyline at night and the view from under the bridge.

The crew was fantastic and accommodating. The dining area was downstairs and isolated from the music but it was piped in. On the deck upstairs is where the music was playing. It wasn’t abusivably loud

The Riverboat Jazz Dinner Cruise was fantastic! The food and entire experience was phenomenal. My daughter and I had the best time. Definitely worth the price and we would happily do the cruise again anytime. The staff was super nice and extremely helpful. If you haven't booked a dinner cruise yet, you should definitely plan to because you will love it for sure. Arrive on time so you can take your time eating then you'll be ready to walk around the boat listening to Jazz and viewing the beautiful Mississippi River under the starlight.

Be there early and get on board, to enjoy the music and beverages prior to sailing. The sailing was fabulous and a great view of New Orleans especially with the sunset and later a full orange moon. The food was good and plenty of it. A very relaxing enjoyable, romantic scenario.
The band was beautiful, and the experience of the river on a paddle wheeler is straight out of princess and the frog, iconic and lovely, however the dinner package is not worth the extra money, three options of food in the buffet and not even juice or a soda is included and drinks were soooo expensive.

It was a lovely experience especially on the 7pm sail time. The food was a little cold, especially the brisket. The red beans and rice were really good. The gumbo didnt have enough meat but thr flavor of the roux was there. Our waitress made the best iced tea ever!!! And the drink prices were very decent. We ordered a washington apple that did not disappoint. It was a great experience overall.
Cruise is as advertised but the buffet leaves something to be desired. Food was just warm and not very flavorful. Also be aware that the menu varies and was not what I expected when I booked it. Otherwise it was a pleasant experience but got a little boring after a while. Probably would not do it again.

Nothing special about the paddle wheel boat (very dated), the food (a few buffet warming vats) or the service. The bank however was quite authentic and professional. Service was also pretty mediocre. Nice view of the city and nice to be on the water. I would try and find another company.

The steps were a little steep for me but do-able. The food was delicious. It was a perfect night on the river. The rear of the boat had great pictures of the sunset behind New Orleans. The front of the boat has benches to sit and enjoy the breeze and views. It wasn’t too hot or cold. It was very enjoyable and would recommend it to anyone.

I made the mistake and booked it when we had already had a booking and the company was easy to work with to get a refund. I also would like to say this is a good way to see the Mississippi. When we visit NOLA again, this will be on the list to do again.

We enjoyed this evening trip. The buffet food was okay and there was plenty of it. The Jazz band were very good and tried hard to get everyone in the mood for fun but it wasn’t a very busy ship. The views up and down the river were excellent especially when it got dark.

This was an amazing experience. The food was wonderful, hot, authentic and plentiful. The staff were all fun and knowledgeable, and the hospitality was tier one. The music and the aviance of the scenic route was mesmerizing. We will definitely be returning.
All staff and workers were personable and engaging. The food was great. The atmosphere for the trip was perfect. The weather was ideal, though warm, the air coming off the Mississippi River made the heat very tolerable. I'd recommend this to anyone visiting New Orleans.
