Check out the water turbine (giant wheel) on the 2nd floor! Such a cool experience! The waitresses were very friendly, and the food was as expected. Choose the bread pudding over the cheesecake!

Reviews
Great cruise with friendly staff. Beautiful scenes down the Mississippi at night. Drinks were fantastic.
Great experience! Excellent service and the food was fantastic! Thank you!
The food was only so so. The jazz was great and the night was beautiful. I enjoyed it but wouldn’t do it again.
I would recommend doing the early dinner time, so you can enjoy the ride up the river without having to eat dinner. The food was excellent
The live music was so fun, the food and drinks were good a real taste of Louisiana. The boat guide giving the history was really cool. We had a great time.
I am truly confused by the great reviews. In total we waited about 45 mins from the moment we were sat until food & drinks were served. To break it down, we waited 25 mins until half of our tables drinks were brought. Another 10 for the appetizer (35 mins from being sat while all the other tables were getting food & had already finished, other than our section of 5 tables) then an additional 10 mins for the remaining drinks to be served after the waiter ask 4 different times what we were missing and the main course was served. This was $150 per person. Not worth it.
It was fun, exciting, and wet😊. I enjoyed the people and it was educational. The staff had great customer service.
It was really nice. I didn’t have the dinner because I thought it best to enjoy sitting outside where I could feel the breeze.
Beautiful boat ride, don't expect excitement, just a nice ride. The live band is great! Try it once. Not sure if I would do it again though.
Had a great time , very organized . Food was very good and tasty . Didn't feel over crowded . Met a few nice friendly people. Overall great time
Great experience 👍🏼 i would recommend it to future travelers. Thank you to the team.
Nice evening; we opted out of the dinner but the music was nice and bartender was a fun character!
Unfortunately the boat was having issues so we could not leave the dock. The food was just ok. Music was good
The food was fabulous and the ambiance was exceptional!! We were pleasantly surprised at the seating layout. They gave you room to enjoy all this experience had to offer. The Natchez steamboat was a little slice of old New Orleans, and we highly recommend!!👌
It was fine but lot cueing and couldn’t see much . Music was ok. All in all fine but not amazing for the cost
Buffet style, limited choices. Good food. Good service. Some interesting information during cruise. Clean
Nice adventure with perfect weather and good food and music.
Unfortunately we boarded the cruise and there was a problem with the engines, therefore the cruise didn’t take place! We could have still had dinner, we went to the dining area, the que fir dinner was huge and the area very cold with the air conditioning. As we weren’t cruising we left as the whole experience was ruined!
Dinner was okay. The steam engine broke down. We could not take the cruise and it's becoming a hassle to get the refund from the tour. I can't comment on how good the tour would be. Because we were never able to take it
I have to break this event into two parts. The dinner and the paddleboat ride. The dinner was not good. I'd compare it to a low-grade Reno hotel buffet. The food, the drinks and the service was a cattle call. That said, the paddleboat portion and the jazz band were great.
It unfortunately got canceled due to engine and we didn't get to cruise anywhere.
Broke down never got to leave dock
After boarding and settling in, we waited an hour, then an announcement over the intercom stated that the engine was broken. We had to leave without taking the tour.
Beautiful, calm, quiet (besides the loud airboats speeding around now and then), exhilarating wildlife tour. I got to see so many different species of magnificent birds, as well as turtles and loads of alligators! Our guide, Ernie was fantastic, kind, informative and well educated in Marine life and diversity.
This was a nice way to finish off our holiday. It was lovely to see NOLA all lit up and the food was nice. The service was good and well organised. The only reason that it was not a 5 is that the live narration was very dull and hard to hear!
I took clients on this trip for the sunset cruise with dinner. The cruise and guide was outstanding! The food was sub-par. None of us enjoyed the food. This was a self-serve buffet, but we were the last directed to the food, by this time the food was getting cold. Some was over seasoned and other items were very bland. I highly recommend skipping the "dinner" and just do the 3-hour cruise.
Our journey to find our smiles continue... This dinner cruise was amazing, food was good, music was absolutely perfect. Jazz Music Live was introduced to my son, and he enjoyed. The employees from check in to dinner to departure made our journey more pleasant. Thank you. Pictures have captured our smiles. Thank you New Orleans!!!
We really enjoyed our jazz cruise. It was a wonderful way to start our first trip to New Orleans. It was a beautiful night and so much fun to see the city all lit up from the river. Touring the engine room was cool. The music was great and the drinks were delicious!
Friendly waiter!! We had a table of 10 family members, our waiter worked so hard taking care that everyone's needs were met. Food was plentiful and delicious!! We all enjoyed this river boat cruise. ages 71 to 2
Fireworks were great had a good time
I’ve read some of the reviews and was skeptical about booking the ride. However, I am glad I did book it with the only true steamboat left on the Mississippi River. It was a nice experience. Dinner was good and relaxing. They did replace the food that ran out. It was worth it. Standing in the front, I caught a nice breeze.
Beautiful night, good food, and the staff are great! One of the best run dinner cruises I've ever experienced.
If you're not used to food with a little kick, don't get the meal. Overall, great experience. The views were amazing. Atmosphere nice.
Dress warm at night. You'll be spending most of your journey on the outside decks. The meal is delicious. There may be 2 seatings, 6 to 7:15, 7:15 to 8:30.
An enjoyable experience. Very scenic! I look forward to visiting again. The food was exceptional as well!
Food was good, the entertainment was awesome 😎
The amount of people lined up for this is intimidating but the crew has this down pat. You are never feel crowded, they have the seating for dinner spaced perfectly and everything is fabulous. Would definitely do this again
Streets of New Orleans was so packed took me a hour and half and miss the boat so didnt reslly grt to experience it amd lost out on my money.
We loved it. We will do it again. Fun and very good. Recipes very tasty. Recommend to everyone. We can't wait to make it at home.
The wait time to enter could be shorter. The food was tasty but not plentiful. Menu needs to be better.
We enjoyed the cruise. But was very disappointed in the food quality. Especially the prime rib was very tough.
It was a very fun evening. The food was good, the river tour was interesting and beautiful, and the Jax bad was great.
Bring a light jacket. The steamboat is a must for New Orleans excursions. Food was great. Our server was excellent. Get there early to get a good seat up front on the boat where the band is. Before you get on the boat there’s a lady who played the organ on top of the boat which is the video I added. Enjoyed everything about it.
Very easy to navigate. Everyone was very friendly. Food was good but mostly cold. Music was good. Nice atmosphere
The food was not good. Tasted like cafeteria prepared food and it was not very tasty. The steamboat ride was nice.
Fabulous evening cruising down the Mississippi Band were excellent. We chose to dine too and the food was really good
Excellent Service By Staff James.Made our dinner experience great and wonderful.Very humble and welcoming nature.
It’s an experience worth doing at least once for the nostalgia. Wouldn’t be nice to know that we sit there for an hour before it leaves the port. Actual ride was about 1 1/2 while eating you miss some of the experience view .
What an awesome experience. We arrived at the departure location and although there were a lot of people ahead of us in the line, it moved very quickly, in an organized fashion. We had booked the 6 pm seating and once onboard we were ushered to our reserved table, where a delicious Caesar salad was served and drink orders taken. The dinner buffet was of very high quality with a nice variety of local and classic dinner choices. Dessert was served at the table. As it was almost time for the second dinner seating, we moved out to the deck and enjoyed the beautiful evening on the Mississippi River. The city lights and boat traffic on the river were so enjoyable, as was the live jazz music playing from the upper deck. We highly recommend this experience and booking with Viator made everything so easy!
