We highly recommend this small group Celebration Tour of New Orleans. Our tour operator, Oz, a native of the city provided an excellent overview of the history, architecture, and culture of a variety of sections of the city including the French Quarter, the Garden District, Treme, to name just a few. A drive through one of the city’s many cemeteries and a stop at City Park where we stopped to purchase and eat some warm beignets were real highlights.

Our Guide OZ was wonderful. He was very knowledgeable, funny, and professional. This was a great tour of the City of New Orleans, Treme, Louis Armstrong Park, Lake Pontchartrain and the Cemeteries.
Rene was such a knowledgeable guide to everything New Orleans! The small group tour was perfect as the 6 of us had many questions and Rene had all the answers.
Really enjoyed the van tour, as it covered many of landmarks and famous streets around New Orleans, and our guide being a native, was very informative, spoke of a lot of the history of the city, and stories about places we passed and stopped at, which included getting beignets at Cafe du Monde. Highly recommend.
Wow! What a great way ti explore the different neighborhoods of New Orleans. We all know the French Quater is great, however to really know NOLA you need to see all it has to offer. This is a great way to explore, then go back see the area's you liked. I think you'll love this tour.
Our owner /guide Oz was absolutely fantastic Very knowledgeable Very accommodating to us..4 older ladies!!! We learned so much about New Orleans!!!!
UNRELIABLE!!! DON’T WASTE YOUR TIME!!! I would give them no stars if I could. We waited outside the pickup location (no mistaking the location) for over 1.25 hours. I tried messaging them 2x and calling them 2x, as did Viator, and there was no response. We are 2 seniors and really did not appreciate sitting outside in the heat all that time, being stood up, and losing out on our only opportunity for a city tour due to timing!!!
Oz was a great guide and the beignets were delicious at the cafe du monde
We were in New Orleans with a family group and on the first day we toured the entire lower New Orleans are with Oz our driver and tour guide. He was very informative and personable. We had a great and educational time and would recommend this tour to everyone.
It was good got to see A lot of areas cemetery and old areas.o
Oz was my tour guide and he was awesome! The line at cafe du monde was very long, but he knows people there and was able to get us our snacks without a wait!
Our tour guide was friendly and full of interesting information. He was able to answer our questions. It was nice to have a few stops along the way.
Excellent tour guide - Oz. Very friendly
Great tour with lots of history and information. Oz was friendly and fun Especially at the cemetery!
Loved the Van. We had 6 passengers. Our driver/tour guide was excellent. I give him 5 stars. He was friendly and extremely knowledgeable. Lots of things I did not know even after several trips to this fun city. If I could make a suggestion it would be to have some time off the van (other than the rest stop) for us to take some photos.
Oz was an excellent tour guide. He is a native of NOLA and very well versed in the history of the city. He was also charming, polite and easy to converse with. He gave us so much interesting information and allowed us to stop for a few minutes for photos. He had some funny anecdotes, but mainly he focused on history of the city. I would highly recommend Oz for your CityTour of NOLA.
Such a joy to learn about NOLA beyond the knowledge of Mardi Gras. Our tour guide was a true 5th generation gentleman. Extremely knowledgeable & fun. We went everywhere even all the way up to the 17th Street canal to see where the canal breached during Katrina. We live nearby in another state, but always love coming over to New Orleans. I can't think of another place with so much history & character & Celebration Tours just made that even better.
We didn’t get to go on the tour - the tour guide skipped our pickup and wouldn’t answer our calls and messages Waited for 45 minutes outside our hotel. Viator customer service also couldn’t get ahold of them. Bummer way to start the day
We had a great, educational experience on this tour! Teddy, our driver and guide, was a wealth of knowledge about all things New Orleans. He was professional, yet personable, and thankfully did not try to entertain us with silly, ridiculous jokes. Teddy was everything we could have hoped for as a guide because we were very interested in learning about the City's past and present. We learned a lot and felt as though it was 3 hours very well spent.
Very nice tour of the area. One and a half hours with two stops....
Teddy is an excellent tour guide. He's native new orleans and tour was very knowledgeable and interesting. Our group of 8 enjoyed it very much. Highly recommend.
Oz was very knowledgeable. We learned a lot about the history of the city. We were able to see a lot of the city as well. This was a great way to see and learn about New Orleans.
Gave us details of the places we went to. Very knowledgeable and experienced. Ensured our safety and provided good suggestions of where to go for food.
Oz, our driver was extremely knowledgeable and the perfect host for our visit to this magical city. His insights and sense of humor highlighted a wonderful experience. Being native born and raised, his love for his city was on full display. We thoroughly enjoyed our three hours together and he felt like an old friend by the end of the tour.
Teddy was so great. He’s a local boy with tons of history knowledge. Highly recommend!
This tour was worth it. The guide was knowledgeable and took us around the most important landmarks. We learned about the aftermath of Katrina, the history of NOLA, we visited the cemetery where the founder of Popeyes and Anne Rice are buried and we saw many other beautiful places. This tour is recommended.
This was a great tour. It is so nice to just be a small group. It is a more personalized experience. The information was great. Even though I have been to New Orleans several times, I still learned something new and saw a new area.
Teddy was a fabulous tour guide. We learned so many historical facts from the far and near past. We saw the neighborhood s, the cemetery’s and ground zero of hurricane Katrina.
This tour was more than I thought it would be, even after reading the description details and reviews. Since most of my trip was in and around the French Quarter with a group, it was really cool to see farther-flung areas of New Orleans and learn about them; I'm keeping places in mind for a future return. Our tour guide was so knowledgeable and also a very safe driver. The amount of information we got was nearly overwhelming, but in the best way. We even returned to the Garden District later in the trip because he made it sound so interesting. Based on the group limit of 7 (we were 6) and other reviews saying their group of 6 got basically a private tour, that's what I was hoping for. However we were in a larger van with another small group - and it was fine! The other group was also very nice and we all asked questions and joked with the driver. This was the perfect start to a fairly short trip, and scratched my itch for historic knowledge of places I visit. I definitely would recommend for any size group.
Teddy is an excellent tour guide—probably the best I have ever had . His knowledge and obvious love for New Orleans contribute to an outstanding experience
I was so grateful to have a comfortable van tour on a very rainy day! I saw all the highlights of the city. The guide was friendly, very knowledgeable, entertaining, and very flexible. The van was spacious clean and comfortable .It was a great overview of this unique area.
Great overview of the city . Small group with opportunity to ask questions. Pick up at hotel was easy and right on time.
Historical, very informative, time well spent. Knowledgeable driver who seems to enjoy informing his customers about New Orleans and its surrounding neighborhoods.
How he was wonderful. Very knowledgeable. Enjoyed the stops. And very mindful of the potholes which made the r very smooth. .
It turned out to be just the 2 of us. The driver was wonderful. Very knowledgeable. The only reason we are giving 4 stars not 5 is the van was older and the seats were very uncomfortable.
Oz was our guide and offered a wonderful introduction to the City of New Orleans. He not only knows the City extremely well but his explanation of how the City developed over time was an interesting and intriguing history lesson. I would definitely recommend using Oz and his company for your next tour of New Orleans!
Great tour! Oz is a fantastic guide and very, very knowledgeable about the history and unique culture of New Orleans. Highly recommended!
Saw all the sites, starting in the French Quarter and included outer areas we would have otherwise missed seeing. Places included Frenchman St, City Park, cemeteries, Lake Pontchartrain, The Garden District, to name a few. Our driver was super knowledgeable and conversational. A great first day in the city experience.
Great overview of the city. Very relaxed, Oz was a great guide with lots of history told. We enjoyed this tour very much.
The tour was excellent. Teddy our guide had a wealth of knowledge about New Orleans since he was born and raised in the city. Teddy was able to give us a real education about the history of the city. I would recommend this tour over all others. A 5 star plus experience. You won’t be disappointed with this city tour experience.
Better than I expected. Our guide was very knowledgeable about New Orleans - it's history, customs, places. Touring in a van was great for me. No matter how many times I've been to New Orleans I thought I knew it. But there is so much history in this city and, I our guide knew it all - he was the best!
Do this before anything. You get a great history lesson of New Orleans. Our tour guide was Teddy and he was very knowledgeable. This experience helps you determine what you want to do.
Great tour! Good overview of the city.
Teddy was great!!! He quickly got a feel for our group’s personalities/sense of humor and adapted some of his talk specifically towards us. Very informative, solid knowledge of NOLA history and what has made NOLA what it is today
Outstanding city tour guide Ted shared a wealth of information and personal experiences having grown up in NOLA. We learned so much and thoroughly enjoyed the city tour.
Fantastic tour with Taddy! He was so knowledgeable and affable. We all enjoyed him so much! We learned so much about New Orleans! Highly recommend Taddy for this great tour!
It was a nice tour. Got all the highlights of NO in a short couple of hours. Were able to spend a short time at a cemetery and cafe du monde. Van was comfortable with ample seating. Only drawback was it was really hard to hear at times but other than that, it was an excellent tour.
Very thorough and super informative. Our guide was a Louisiana native and really showed us around the city, giving us in depth knowledge. Because we were a small group, he was willing to adjust to what we wanted to see. Would highly recommend!
We went on a tour on March 19th 2026. The guide was very knowlegeable, covered a lot of ground. He even dropped us off at the restaurant we wanted to have lunch at. I highly recommend this tour
Teddy was an amazing historian for the city of New Orleans. We really enjoyed the experience.
