New Orleans Sightseeing Flight

This was our first Aerial Tour of the City. Ashley was our Pilot, She made the flight a really enjoyable experience. This was a 45 minute booking , perfect for us. We have been to Nola for years and it was so fun to see it from above. The trip was a great value considering what the other tour operators charge for the swamp tours, ect. We highly recommend this to anyone coming to Nola. We will book it again next time in town! Thanks Ashley!!!!

A pleasant location with friendly and helpful staff. Nothing was too much for them. A fantastic tour over the Lake and New Orleans with the Pilot explaining all the locations and views on our trip. A normal day turned into a Great Day.

The guide was very professional and his landing skills were superb. As for the tour, I did not enjoy it. There was no air conditioning and extremely hot. The aircraft battery was dead and the pilot had to run inside to get the cables to jump the battery. So we sat inside the aircraft sweating while patiently waiting. The aircraft was very old. I guess for my first aerial tour and the price I paid (over $300) I expected better views, AC and more comfort.

We asked to be taken over the Mississippi River, the bayous, and the tributaries off the Mississippi River which flow on to the Gulf. This was different than the usual sightseeing tour given by this company. Our flight was 60 minutes. Our pilot was awesome, knowledgeable, and explained what he was doing as well as explaining what we were seeing! It was a great experience and would do it again! The price was perfect! My husband and I would recommend this flight company!

The whole trip was great. Katie was very knowledgeable and friendly. She made us feel very welcome and answered all of our questions.

My favorite part of the experience was the pilot! Lauren was AWESOME!!!! The sky view of the city was amazing. I highly recommend the New Orleans Sightseeing Flight! Definitely going again!

The people over there was to nice and the view really pretty, I love it , was one of my best experience ever

People were really friendly, both in the communication planning the activity as well as in person. The entrance was a little hard to find but everything that I asked for had been taken care of! We did the 60 min flight and so we had ample time to fly around the bayou, downtown as well as uptown. Great pricing (in my view) as well, would def recommend it!

It was really nice to say we was over New Orleans. Our pilot Nick was amazing! He was very informative and funny. He made the trip even better

Great!!! Amazing tour of the city of New Orleans, the Mississippi River, and Lake Pontchartrain. Very knowledgeable history of the area including information about the devastating carnage left by Hurricane Katrina. The pilot pointed out places we could visit that she thought we might enjoy while we are here, that was very helpful. We learned the history of some buildings which was very interesting. The Mississippi River was wider than I thought. This is our first flight and it was so comfortable it was unreal. Loved it, plan on flying more.

Nick was such a great pilot and guide! This experience was one I will never forget! Seeing the city in this was was really awesome and I can’t wait to take another flight!

This was a great experience.! I’ve never flown before, and I thought this would have been a wonderful experience up until I got in the air… I got sooo panicky and was ready to come down, IMMEDIATELY!! if it wasn’t for my husband being with me, I don’t know what I would have done. We got great pictures though. Lol. The pilot was awesome.! The ride was smooth as butter, it was just (ME!!)

We had a really lovely time, we’re still buzzing about being in that little plane! This trip was a gift for my partner’s 30th birthday and it is definitely something he will remember forever! Our pilot was super nice and knowledgeable. We felt so safe and in awe! Would definitely recommend this to anyone! At one point we mentioned that we were flying over our house and the pilot turned the plane around so we could get a better look! Such a sweet guy!

Excellent! Nick was our pilot and he was phenomenal. We were able to leave a little early so we got to catch so many beautiful views on a super clear day. It was easily one of the BEST experiences in my life and I can't wait to do it again when I come back to NOLA. Really incredible and the location was ideal for us! HIGHLY recommend, and this is coming from a New Yorker so you know it HAS to be a great time.

This was the best flight ever. Best of all we had a female pilot. This flight was better than the flight to New Orleans. Would definitely do this again!!

We had a fantastic flight. We scheduled a morning sight seeing flight . Tim was our pilot . We can say enough about Tim . He is very well trained and gave an excellent Ariel tour of the city of New Orleans.Susan handled our scheduling and greeted us upon arrival . She was super sweet. I recommend if you take the morning flight plan to have breakfast next door at the Runway cafe . It was wonderful . We want to come back and take the night tour next time . This was one of my favorite things that I did in New Orleans. My best friend and I took a tour with Trent as our pilot. He made us feel safe and comfortable the entire flight. Everyone who works there is so knowledgable and friendly. Highly recommend and get Trent as your pilot! He was the best!! :)

Me and my new fiancee really enjoyed this relaxing flight with good wine and cheese and our Pilot Emrick was awesome and so smooth taking us around the sky of New Orleans. All in all it was a very pleasant experience and definitely will do it again. Thanks Aerial Tours, we'll be back!!

Just went on a flight with Emrick today, truly a joy to be around and really knows his stuff. Thankful to the whole office staff who were timely and professional in rescheduling due to a downpour yesterday, especially Ms. Lisa and Ms. Brooke. Highly recommend, can't say enough great things!

I was looking for an opportunity to introduce my children to flying and to give them a memorable experience. It had been a while since I had flown myself. We had Emrick as our pilot. He was thoughtful, fun, and a true delight. He's a very personable man who connected easily with my children and helped make each one of us feel comfortable and engaged. Take off and landing were both incredibly smooth. He allowed my son to help pilot the plane, while we flew over/near great sights like the Gulf of Mexico. We had great aerial views and got to see the area in a way that we were unaccustomed to. Being a native of Louisiana, it brought our vacation experience to a whole new level. Being mid-July, it was HOT, even in the morning. The plane has no ac, but the website explained that, so I booked our tour for first thing in the morning. I would gladly do it again, and if I did, I would want Emrick as our pilot again. The only slightly negative thing, it's a little challenging to find the building and you don't want to be late for your flight. I recommend going ahead of time to find it. I did, and it allowed us to be on time, without me being stressed out because of getting lost or making wrong turns. I also cannot stress enough, the heat in Louisiana is BRUTAL, keep that in mind when planning your flight time. Also, be sure to check their personal website for current promotions. I received a significant discount by doing so, and being a single mom, I'm budget conscious.

What a wonderful experience, made that much better by super friendly staff, efficient, timely, no waiting, up in the air exactly on time, minimal noticeable turbulence, headphones and mike to communicate and hear the pilot, and great sights--all explained with enthusiasm. Great way to see New Orleans and appreciate the land and its monuments. He also flew us several times over our cruise ship and passengers later had commented they had seen a small plane (not too close of course!). Can't say more..perfect. Also, for the price, it's amazing. Just two of us were on and that surprised me! (there is room for one more passenger. The plane is a prop plane, you feel entirely secure, my mother who is not the best flier in the world had zero worry and they openly say that if you want to stop a bit earlier for illness they will do that for you. Also, the communication leading to the activity and last minute urgent message I sent were responded to near immediately. The hanger is really to walk around and take closeup of planes too. It's about 20 minutes cab from the terminal, though I would allow twice that for potential traffic (we did not encounter much).

We visited New Orleans in March 2018 and included the 30 minute air tour. We were late because of transportation issues even though we had planned ahead. Our young pilot was a great tour guide pointing out features in the city. We wanted to see how the Mississippi curved through the city. We saw barges, ships, freighters and even sail boats. The office staff were great and helped us beyond our expectations.

We've lived in New Orleans all of our lives and thanks to Trent we were able to experience it from a whole new perspective. Everyone was phenomenal and punctual with our appointment. Thank you guys for such an awesome experience!

We were scheduled for a tour at 3:30pm on Dec 28th, but due to poor weather we were postponed until 5pm the following day. It couldn't have worked out better. We got to experience New Orleans and the surrounding area during daylight, sunset and after dark. Trent was our pilot and he couldn't have been nicer or more professional. He pointed out a lot of sights we wouldn't have been aware of and made several passes of places so we could get good pictures.I also spent some time just observing his flying skills and his awareness of everything around us. It was not only interesting from a sightseeing perspective, but it also gave me a newfound respect for pilots and all they have to pay attention to. My wife had never been in a small plane before and was a little nervous, but she loved the flight. It was so smooth and again, Trent was very good about ensuring we got the utmost enjoyment out of our time. I would highly recommend this for anyone who enjoys both flying and sightseeing. The people both in the air and in the office we very nice and made our experience great!

<p>Worth every minute. It was such a great experience. I recommend taking the 45 minute tour or longer. I did they 30 minute tour because I was nervous about being in a small plane, but I wish I would have went for longer. The tour guide was awesome!</p>

Value for money !!!</p> <p>David, our pilot, was informative, interesting and instructive.<br/> He showed us the whole of New Orleans, which was far better than any donkey ride or map. We saw the crescent, the lake, the French Quarter, points of interest... we saw everything from above !.<br/> And everything, geographically made sense. In addition David gave us a commentary of the history of New Orleans and at the end of the flight introduced us to Lauren Broussard who gave us a tour of the art-deco terminal which is worth a visit in its own right. Will we be back again ? ...Oh yes !!!</p>

ask to fly with Emrick Laurent, a French pilot who will explain New Orleans.He is super nice! The only downside is the geographic flight limit, reduced by air corridors; I would have liked to fly a little more over Mississippi instead of going around the city 3 times
