This was a great trip and it was wonderul to see the local wildlife. Kenny was our tour guide and he was good fun and gave us lots of informtion. I would definately recommend this trip.

If you’re looking to see alligators 🐊 this is for you! Riding through the bayou seeing alligators, raccoons 🦝 and other wildlife. The tour guide provides the right amount of knowledge and entertainment. Great fun the everyone.

Boat operator/tour guide Dustin was superb! He did a fantastic job seeking out the most unique/cool/noteworthy/fun critters and really gave our group a wonderfully comprehensive look into all the different ecosystems/different parts of the swamp and the distinctive wildlife that can be found there. So so so much fun while also being a great and interactive learning opportunity!! I've been on a few of these swamp tours with Cajun Encounters over the years and they're always fantastic (whether you're with a friend/group, or just doing some solo adventure-seeking!), but this one with Dustin was by far the best. I really appreciated that he didn't rush and really took his time making sure we got to see ALL the best things he could find for us this time of year/that time of day. Perfect length. I think we had a full group on our boat but it didn't feel crowded at all and still felt like a personalized experience. Absolutely worth the money. Special thanks to Dustin for being a particularly great guide (I'm sorry we forgot to bring cash or else we would have left a tip--maybe next time!).

We went early so it wouldn't be too hot. The tour guide was quite personable and knowledgeable. The boat was steady. I did not feel like danger was lurking at any time. They take good care of you and get right up to the alligators, racoons, big black grasshoppers, and show you spiders living in trees that would scare the snot out of you if you were too close. lol. Fabulous tour quite enjoyed it and the guide.

This tour was great. Scott C got us around the swamp safely and was extremely knowledgeable about the local wildlife and residents. The boat wasn’t too fast and had a nice cover for rain. Good option if you have kids!

Captain Tony was an incredible guide! He was very knowledgeable and gave us ample time to see the different wildlife, native trees, history of the whiskey tree and prohibition era, etc. I would absolutely recommend this tour to anyone looking for a unique and beautiful experience.

Had an amazing time traveling to the swamp tours with Cajun encounters. Cordell was an amazing driver funny and got is to and from our destination safely.

Truly such a wonderful experience. I expected a good experience, but Captain Chris made the trip so fun, informational, and interactive. We saw SO many alligators, along with wild pigs, raccoons, egrets, ibis, giant grasshoppers, turtle, and so much more! Spacious seating on boats and we learned lots about Louisiana history/wildlife. Would 10/10 recommend the tour anyone, especially if you recommend Capt. Chris!!!
