Burton Transit appears well managed with emphasis on customer service. When he had a glitch in flight plans, they communicated and accommodated us very well. Our chauffeur, Clarence, was professional, friendly and knowledgeable. He was on time and on point for pickups. A five-star experience all the way.

Both drivers were absolutely fantastic. Our first driver was fantastic and kind didn’t mind waiting for us at the airport and even stopped along the way for us to go to the store prior to our destination. My only frustration was the app did not show any of our return information and no one would call us back or reply to messages when I was trying to get a confirmation for a return pick up on a round-trip.
Absolutely horrific. They cancelled our transfer when we were already in the air on our flight there. Transfer company would not respond to calls from me or Viator to explain why they cancelled in such a short time frame. Viator offered to book alternative transport at double the cost. Viator promised return calls from a supervisor multiple times and it has now been more than 24 hours and I have yet to hear back from Viator. We were traveling with a big family group including an infant and toddler in car seats. We ended up having to take multiple ubers which I was extra unhappy about given the car seat situation. I would strongly suggest not booking with this transfer company and also not using Viator. Absolute worst experience I have had and we travel a lot. I will never use Viator again.

We landed in Nola and got a welcome text from Burton transit. We let them know we were 5 mins away from Door 3 as instructed, but nobody ever came. We saw another driver for Burton, and he tried calling to see where our car was. Long story short, they were “out” of cars for the day. Since we booked through viator, it was never confirmed with the vendor. Terrible experience. We were traveling with 2 young kids and were left scrambling to find another ride with car seats.
We were picked up from airport, taken to hotel and then returned to airport. In both instances the car was on time, immaculately clean and plenty of room. Both of our drivers were prompt and accommodating to our requests.

I HAVE GIVEN THIS ONE STAR BECAUSE THE FIELD IS REQUIRED. IN THIS CASE READ ZERO (0) WORSE THAN TERRIBLE!!!!!! We booked a minibus with Burton Transit for a round trip from the airport to our hotel in the French Quarter. Our flight arrived and having looked at the queue at border control it was clear that we would take a while getting through. So we phoned Burton Transit on the number supplied on the booking confirmation to inform them that we had arrived but would be another 20 to 25 minutes before getting through to meet them at the designated pick up point. (The small print shows that we would be shown as"no shows if we didn't contact the company within an hour of the flight arrival time.) We got through and went to meet the minibus. After 5 minutes we met our driver, Joe, who loaded our bags ontpo the minibus. He then informed us that we would not be leaving until the arrival of two other passengers who had not yet even landed!. We were perplexed by this as we had paid over £200 for a private transfer. What we were now being offered was a shuttle service for which a party of six (as we were) would pay less than half that amount. We asked Joe to phone his manager, whose name was Nicole. This he did and handed the phone over. It was clear from the start that Nicole was a rude and obnoxious person who had already made her mind up that we would be offered no more than a shuttle service. She said that we were late arriving. We pointed out that we had phoned the office and advised and that we were actually no more than 10 minutes beyond the hour and that we had no control over how long it takes to get through border control. She was totally dismissive and said she was doing us a favour by agreeing to take us at all. Absolutely no interest in customer service. We also pointed out that the transfer time to the hotel was 20 minutes and Joe could take us and be back in time to pick up the other two passengers. She was not interested. When we asked Joe why he was waiting for other passengers he told us that they were two drivers short, hence having two different parties on the same vehicle. We then asked Joe to take our bags off the minibus, which he did. He was a very courteous man and very apologetic. The situation was out of his control. We then walked over to the other side of the terminal, ordered an Uber Max which took two minutes to arrive, that took us to our hotel and cost less than half what we had paid for the pre-booked transfer. We used Uber again for the return trip which cost even less. Will use Uber from now on. It's hassle free and costs much less. BURTON TRANSIT should be ashamed of their appalling service, but if Nicole is typical of their management I doubt if they are. Praise however should be given to Tripadvisor and Viator. We contacted them, explained the situation and the entire cost of the hire was back in my bank account within 2 days.
What we expected was a driver and vehicle to pick up my wife, myself, and 2 family members (key word private transportation). What we received was sharing a ride with another family to New Orleans. Driver handled himself in a professional manner, but appeared to be unaware that we reserved private transportation from airport to New Orleans. In New Orleans for a celebration, not the way we wanted to start this special occasion.

Our flight was early and our driver was there and ready for us! they even put car seats in the vehicle for our two little ones at no cost to us. all we had to do was buckle them in! Burton Transfer: The most Enjoyable Professional Transfer I’ve ever experience. Disembarking after a cruise, you are never sure of an exact time you will complete your journey thru customs. Burton Transfer was at the terminal at the scheduled time although although I had not completed the disembarkation until after 10am. Disappointing, the driver left us across the road from the hotel and we had 4 luggages ... the reason given was that it was too much traffic and didn’t want to get Stuck. Also the description isn’t correct as we paid for a private ride, and we ended having to wait and share for a couple .
It was nice to know there was a car to take us to our hotel. However, being the first time to the MSY ( Louis Armstrong) airport was confusing on where to pick us the car. The driver was very pleasant and gave us highlights as we went to our hotel. Price was okay for the area. We did use someone else for the return just to have more option for our next visit.
We got to New Orleans on a Thursday. The transportation to our hotel was on time, clean and most of all air conditioned. Our driver was friendly and gave is some great recommendations. Would use them any time.
Failed to provide a child seat which had been explicitly requested at booking. The driver was apologetic and promised there would be a child seat for the return transfer. On return journey a child seat was indeed available, but uninstalled, and driver had no idea how to fit it and clearly did not want to take any responsibility for its installation. Had this transfer been arranged for adults only it would have warranted a 5* rating ; beautiful vehicle, and reliable service and we were kept up-to-date with messages about pick up times and procedures. However the abject disregard for the safety and welfare of our young passenger was totally unacceptable. Therefore I can only rate this transfer the minimum 1* and must warn customers to avoid this company if travelling with small children.

Booked online for my arrival in NOLA and was expecting an airport shuttle bus however was very pleasantly surprised when waiting for my party of a 3 was a lovely SUV. No other clients...just for us. Fabulous! The vehicle was clean and classy with a quick trip to the hotel in The Arts District. Used Burton again for return to the airport 5 days later. Our flight back to NJ was as 6am so the pickup was at 3:30 and the owner himself arrived right on time. Company is owned by a young courteous gentleman named Nelson Burton Jr. In speaking with him we learned it was his Dad who had picked us up from the airport. Dad was as pleasantly and friendly as his son. Small company with 4 vehicles currently but with this type of service I expect quick growth! Competitively priced as well. HIGHLY Recommended.....
From start to finish this company is top notch. I had to make several changes before travelling and the company was accommodating and made me feel secure and confident. The representative assured me that I had nothing to worry about. She was right! Upon arrival, the driver was already waiting for us and he already called me several times to ensure that we had arrived and knew where to go. On the way to the hotel he kept us entertained by giving us anecdotal information about New Orleans. The vehicle was nice, comfortable and clean. We arranged for round-trip transport with Burton Transit to our hotel on our first trip to New Orleans. Nelson and Josh were early and communicated with us often to avoid confusion. They are very knowledgeable about the area and friendly. Don’t bother planning transport with anyone else!
