New Orleans Private City Tour

Booked this NOLA tour for my mom’s birthday. Pensacola girls hitting the Big Easy! Let me tell you, it did *not* disappoint. Our guide was a total gem: funny, sharp, and clearly knew every inch of the city (and probably some ghosts too). We hit all the highlights without feeling like tourists lost in a brochure. My mom was living her best life: beignets in hand, jazz in the air, soaking up the history like a queen. Maybe next year, if Mom insists (she will).

Great tour!! Highly recommend! Very knowledgeable of history of New Orleans and took us all over the city to see things we normally wouldn't have seen on a bus tour

This tour was amazingly boring. We were shocked that it’s received positive reviews. The van’s suspension felt like riding in a stagecoach. The tour took forever and was filled with pointless stops. It’s not worth the money. We had such a disappointing experience. It ended with our guide challenging me to an argument.

Our group of 7 took this Private City Tour with Celebration Tours. Our driver and guide was Ted who was extremely knowledgeable! The van was very comfortable! We learned about the history of the city and visited many different parts of the city on our 3 hour tour. Ted was a terrific guide with a nice sense of humor and lots of patience with all our questions! We would highly recommend Celebration Tours and Ted. Thank you Ted for a great tour!

My wife and I took a city tour along with another couple on a Celebration Tours van. We hit a lot of iconic tourist sites including the French Quarter, Bourbon Street, Jackson Square, St. Louis Cathedral, the levy at Lake Pontchartrain etc. The driver Oz was very pleasant and knowledgeable. At the end of the tour, my wife and I were supposed to transfer from one hotel to another but since the NCAA Final Four games were going on, it was very difficult to find a cab. Oz offered to help us out and he drove us to our hotel from where we picked up our bags and then took us to our other hotel. I offered him money for his efforts, but he politely declined. He did not have to do that, but his help and generosity were greatly appreciated.

Wonderful overview from uptown to downtown. Saw all the highlights and helped us plan the remainder of our stay. Spouse has mobility issues so we didn’t want a walking tour. Loved the stop for beignets and chicory coffee

Excellent tour for a first time trip to New Orleans, to get to know each part of the city and the history. 

Teddy was great! Since Teddy is a native from New Orleans, his history and knowledge of being a resident of New Orleans brought lots of interesting insight and topics to discuss. Excellent tour.

Teddy provided the perfect soundtrack to our family private tour of New Orleans. This was my second time using Celebration Tours and they do not disappoint. I see myself taking the tour a third time as there is always something new to discover.

As first timers to New Orleans were delighted by the tour. Wanda, the guide was very knowledgeable about the city and delivered the tour with a great deal of humor. If l had one small criticism, it would be that the views from the 8 seater bus were not as good as other tour buses I have used.

We went on a tour today with Ozzy and it was just fantastic. He kept us entertained the entire time and fully engaged us with his love and appreciation for New Orleans. We went by the areas affected by Katrina, City Park, a cemetery (cannot recall the name), and we were able to see where some celebrities reside, and more.. we had the opportunities to ask all the questions we wanted and once again truly enjoyed the experience. I keep looking into Katrina details because I became super interested and everything I'm reading is exactly what Ozzy told us, to the T. He really knows his stuff. I definitely recommend Celebration Tours as it was really the best part of our trip. Can't wait till he sets up an Instagram account!!

We were undecided about the day's activities and lucked upon this tour. This turned out to be the highlight of our girls' trip to New Orleans. Oz was a fantastic and knowledgeable guide. I would highly recommend this tour.

Don’t bother with other tours. Teddy Posner is a font of entertaining and historically accurate information. I loved everything about this tour. It was raining hard the day of the trip and we hardly noticed. Garden District, Cemetery 3, the big gorgeous park...it’s a great tour that doesn’t feel rushed. Highly recommended.

Teddy Posner was a delight! He is entertaining, well informed, and just plain fun. It was raining when we arrived to New Orleans and we didn't want to waste a single minute. Teddy drove us around and showed us the sights while we stayed warm and dry in the van. I highly recommend a private tour with Teddy!

We booked a New Orleans City tour and Ozzy was our guide & driver. He was awesome! It was relaxed and informative and fun. Those who hadn't been learned, and those who had learned more. It was a great way to see sights you otherwise would not have seen. I highly recommend Celebration Tours when in New Orleans!

It was fantastic the oportunity we had to see New Orleans with the explanations of Ozyy. We made a private tour on the afternoon and went to places that usually the "normal tours" do not show us. TRY a private tour and I'm sure you'll remember New Orleans forever...

Teddy did a great job showing and telling us the history of the city. We leaned a lot and enjoyed it immensely. Our hotel recommended this company as the best and we agree. Go on this tour you will be happy you did.

Ozzy was wonderful. Full of information. Best way to see New Orleans! Couldn't have asked for a better guide and comfortable ride. My entire family of adult children, my husband and I, all appreciated the tour. Highly recommend.

I cannot speak more highly of this tour and Ted our fabulous tour guide. He gave a full history of the city as well and spoke to the recent events of Katrina and how the city has recovered. Highly recommend!

My family and I chose the City tour because we were only in town for a couple of days and wanted to see as much as we could during our stay. Ozzy's was our driver and he was great. He provided a narrated tour complete with history and humor. I recommend this for families and our small groups. We loved it.

We thoroughly enjoyed our tour with Ted. We were visiting NOLA to celebrate Dad's 95th birthday and Ted gave Dad, a WWII veteran, the royal treatment.. including hanging a birthday banner in the van before picking us up! Our mid-tour stop at the Morning Call for beignets was timed perfectly. Ted had some great personal stories to tell about his life as a New Orleans native. He really knows his stuff. A stop at Hansen's for snowballs was a tasty end to a wonderful tour. THANKS!

Our guide, Teddy, was very friendly and knowledgeable. Sharing the history and some personal stories as well about the city and the tragedy of Katrina. He also offered suggestions of other places that were a must see while we were in the city. Made a stop in the city park so that we could stretch our legs and have a snack. Just wish we had more time to see the park, it was beautiful. Highly recommend this tour.
