It is very informative. We loved it. Awesome driver and narrator. So fun and lots to see. You must do it when you come to New Orleans

Close locations to bourbon, great value. Friendly staff knowledgeable tour guide. I really wanted to do the garden tour , which was part of the fees but our guide gave us a short abbreviated versions , told us to walk ourselves . This was a vibe killer as I missed Ann Rices house!
It was a great experience. We got to learn a lot about the city and the history and tour possibilities.
Some of the guides gave minimal interesting information and some were good. One guide showed us where grocery stores and hot dog stands were and others showed us where celebrities lived and haunted houses were. We had the bus for 2 full days.
We started late but got on a bus before end time. At the 4th stop, the driver said we had to get off, he was done for the day and the last bus for the day was right in front of us and we could get on. They drove off before anybody got off the bus.
Using the hop-on-hop-off bus makes touring nearly care free. Instead of pondering, “Where do we go?” “How do we get there?” “What should we do when we get there?” It’s all done for you. You just find the bus stop and hop on, sit back, listen to the guide, and hop off when something interests you. Be sure to opt for the walking tours and the two- or three-pass is also a deal. Guides (Jonathan, Dustin, and Steve) and drivers were also very knowledgeable, patient, and friendly
My husband and I had the best time on the Hop on Hop Off Bus. We had tour guide Sam and driver Gary. They were both wonderful. Gary was very nice when we got on and off and Sam was very knowledgeable and funny. I suggest you stay on the bus and do a complete loop around then get off where you want to go. Today we are doing the 2nd day of the Hop on and off part of the trip.
This is a great way to see the city. Either stay on for a quick 2 hour drive around the city with history and commentary as you go or plan a couple of days and get off at each stop to really immerse yourself in the city. We've traveled to NOLA multiple times and have used this when we're traveling with people who haven't been before. It's not as cheap as the cable cars which are $1.25 to ride (less for kids and seniors) or with the $3 Jazzy Pass that you can buy on your phone or pick up at any local Walgreens, but the added commentary helps orient you and gives a great alternative to a walking tour.
Great people. We had a lot of fun
Linda Demetra was an exceptional guide!! Very knowledgeable & entertaining!! Interesting facts in her presentation...
Great way to see the city!! Knowledgeable tour guides, get to see the entire city! Multiple stops to explore!
Steve was awesome. He kept us laughing while also pointing out locations that say New Orleans. The garden district tour was also nice. This is a must do, especially if Steve is doing the tour.
Each guide had different fun facts about the city. Upper deck was the best for viewing and not having to do a bunch of walking... However I would do the French quarter and garden district walking tours! Worth the money for sure.
The Hop-On Hop-Off is the way to tour the city. They're very organized, easy to find the stop number and the staff is friendly and professional. We had Ellroy as a driver, he was excellent - I hope he's driving your bus. It was a great way to see the lay out of the city. Get the 3-day pass because it includes a walking tour in the Gardens District and a walking tour of Jackson Square.
Great way to get around the city, learn about the history and see places that we want to visit on our own
The hop on hop off trolley is a wonderful way to see New Orleans, learn the history and get around easy. We did the garden walk tour and our guide Sam was very fun and informative. I would highly recommend doing this at least 1 day and 2 days would be better! Enjoy
Tour was very nice, but the tour guy for the walking tour in the Garden District never came, so I, [and other people too] took a walking tour by myself.
We a a mixed experience! Our first leg was great, Jonathan was a great guide ! Our return trip was miserable. Air Conditioning was not working, with the outside temp at 92 ! The inside of the bus was a sauna. The tour operators should have taken the bus off the line.
Pleasant professional drivers and narrators. Used the hop on hop off for two days of transportation and it worked out really well..
The Garden District tour was fantastic. Our guide, Paige, was very knowledgeable, friendly and a joy to have as our tour guide. We learned about the history, the architecture and much more. This tour with Paige is a must do.
The air could have worked much better inside the bus. Announcing that the bus is getting ready to leave when at the depot would have been nice for those inside shopping or using the restroom.. Knowledgeable staff shading there hoagie and fun facts of NOLA
Great way to start a visit to a busy town. Guides do a great job of giving you insight to the areas.
We enjoyed our experience while on the bus. The drivers and guides were great and informative. However the app wasn’t setup for New Orleans to be able to track when the next bus was coming. This resulted in long wait times for the next bus and wasted time.
The tour guide and driver were great. Bus 201 wasn’t great though because the air conditioning wasn’t working in the bus and it was very uncomfortable.
Great way to see the city and determine what you want to see and don't. The tour guides are knowledgeable and add humor to the tour.
It was a great way to get a good feel for New Orleans. The tour leaders were great and the folks on the BUs PA were fantastic.
A great way to see the city on a budget! The live presenters are a refreshing plus. The covered top is a great addition to the protect from direct sunlight and incidental rains.
It’s a great way to acclimate to NOLA. There’s nothing like Southern hospitality and being educated on the history of NOLA and the plethora of landmarks. It was disappointing to discover certain stops were closed due to the Essence Festival, in 90 degree heat + humidity. I’ll map it out better the next time.
We were on the bus with Logan & Ellroy and they were awesome we had a family that was very disrespectful to Logan and cussing him out and disrupting the tour. He very professionally ask them to step off that bus but they are more than welcome to get on another bus. It was so professionally the bus erupted with applauds. They really do care that you enjoy the hop on hop off tour. They willing to answer any questions about New Orleans that you ask. The knowledge is amazing and they want you to have fun and feel like you got more than your money worth.
Lot of fun but I wish the ride went longer than 530pm. Overall, well worth it and I would recommend it to anyone
Good way to view city before deciding what you want to see
Johnathan and Barry were awesome. There was a medical situation and we had to switch buses and they kept everyone calm and it was smooth and we kept on moving!
Great time very informative Great way to see everything and not get lost. Two day tour allows you to plan your next day accordingly.
The best way to get around the city is to hop on and off. Our tour guide, Jamie, and Lita were very knowledgeable.
Easy way to see the area and hop on and off where you wanted to go. Guides were very knowledgeable .
Covers the city’s highlights well, but also crowded. Go in the morning. Garden District tour guide started 15 minutes late and was exhausted from doing so many tours back to back.
The guides were excellent and informed, the bus drivers were safe, and the route was excellent. I felt that we got a good combination of transportation and information over the two days that we had the past.
We purchased the 2-day pass and Garden District tour. The guides on the busses were excellent and all staff was helpful, professional, and knowledgeable. Logan did an excellent job on the garden district walking tour. The route took in major sites in and around the Quarter, garden district, and downtown. Recommend using the website which show all stops with ETAs of next bus. The busses run every 25 minutes, which is too long to fully take advantage of the hop-on/off feature unless you start very early. Last bus at most stops is 4:08 which also limits how much you can see in one day. If your hotel is walkable to the Quarter, and you know what you want to see, Ride shares (Lyft/Uber) are plentiful, reasonable, and economical alternative, but won’t give you the narration you’ll get on this service. Bottom line, if you’re planning to take as narrated bus tour and a walking tour of the Quarter or Garden District, Hop on/off is a decent if somewhat pricey option. If not, and if you know exactly what you want to see, there are more economical alternatives.
Tour guides did a good job explaining the sites. Nice way to view the city, only down side for us was the weather!
Great informative information given by the guides on the bus. , and the Garden District Walking tour given by Colin#12 was a real blast .So much laughter.
Wonderful drivers and tour guides. Friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. Was a Lovely way to see the city.
You gotta try this—it's the best way to hop on and off if you want to see places. It hits all the famous spots, and we had some amazing sightseeing experiences. Bill, Collen (our Garden District guide), Mary, and Elroy were the best tour guides for New Orleans Hop on Hop off. They totally deserve a raise and definitely some extra cash because they did a perfect job showing us around and explaining the history!
Love Hop on Hop off as a great way to check out a new city
Was a little expensive, but worth it. Good way to find out about new orleans and where to visit Makes getting around the city easy
We enjoyed the tour and had the best time meeting Bill and Leroy. They were fun, informative and so helpful in making our trip memorable with restaurant recommendations and suggestions of the best places to see. They pointed out so many interesting things in the city and gave some great history of specific points of interest along the way. Great 90 minutes!
It’s a great way to learn about the city with many opportunities to check things out. The guides are great. We spent a lot of time on the bus because my wife has difficulty walking. Scott Celeste was the best guide we have ever had on an on-off bus.
Good way to get the stories of the city and I would recommend guide “No Line” Linda!
We rode the 1st 24 hours and enjoyed it immensely. When we tried to use it for the next 24 hours, the reservation had disappeared and as a result the ticket/qr code was gone.
If you're a first-time visitor to New Orleans, this is a great way to learn about the history of the city and see what there is to do around town.
Riding the full tour gives you the lay of the land around the city. Day 2 - we used the bus to visit areas we wanted to see more of. Walking tour in Garden District was nice.
