This was a fantastic experience! We loved our tour guide Emily, who was informative, funny, and very personable. Even though we had unexpected rain on / off during the tour everyone had a great attitude and rolled with it. Definitely would recommend this company to others looking to learn more about the Garden District or who enjoy a smaller tour size for a great price / value. Bonnie was great! We all learned a lot and the whole family said the walking tour was the highlight of our couple days in New Orleans. Being from Iowa we got a kick out of the corn fence, even if it was an aesthetic favorite! 🌽. Highly recommend the Garden District tour!

Danell (rhymes with flannel) was a fantastic guide had a lot of great stories covered a lot of ground and made for the most enjoyable experience in New Orleans. I would highly recommend this to any and all. I had three friends with me. They were a little reluctant to go because they didn’t know it would be, but once they did it, they thought it was one of the most fun things we did in our weekend in New Orleans.

We loved everything about this tour: the small group size, the duration, the price and the experience itself. Emily was FANTASTIC - knowledgeable, funny, and super engaging throughout the entire two hours as she wove together New Orleans history, architectural history and restoration, insider insights related to some of the houses that we saw, and humorous asides throughout the tour. There are tour guides all over New Orleans – and then there’s Emily from Two Chicks. A lifelong, generational New Orleanian, Emily was informative and engaging during our entire Garden District tour. Her knowledge of the architecture and neighborhoods was incredible all while giving her own anecdotes which made the tour feel that much more personal. Our tour guide, Bonnie, did such a good job giving our group historical facts and fun stories about the garden district that the 2 hours flew by. She also spoke about the different architectural styles of houses in the neighborhood and pointed out various well known people that live there. It was very enjoyable and interesting. I also appreciated that at the end of the tour, she readily offered suggestions for places to eat or other things to do in the neighborhood. Would highly recommend ! Mary Ann G

We thoroughly enjoyed our Garden District tour with Two Chicks (Dannal)! She was very knowledgable about New Orleans history in general as well as the specifics of the architecture and ownership of key homes in the district. She has an entertaining style and welcomed questions. She knows how to keep things moving (i.e. not get lost in the stories) without ever seeming rushed. I highly recommend Two Chicks!

I took my husband and three kids on this two hour walking tour of the Garden District today. The tour was lovely. The tickets transferred over electronically promptly. The tour operator texted me early in the day to confirm the meeting place and time. We met with the group at a local coffee shop. There were about 11 or 12 people on the tour. We were about to see many beautiful homes of the Garden District on the tour. The guide, Bonnie, was really knowledgeable and she was a good teacher. I noticed that she asked questions from the different people on the tour, including the kids. She added in little tidbits about the local culture currently. We had time about halfway through for a break, which was good for the kids.

I really enjoyed the garden district walking tour with Leslie. She was very informative and friendly and the pace was perfect. Even though it rained a little bit and I was prepared she had a very good attitude about it and just kept on going. Her knowledge and friendliness were excellent.

Leslie was the best tour guide! She imparted so much information to us about the history of New Orleans and the garden district homes- even when a shower came by and caught us all by surprise for 10 minutes! We loved getting to see the beautiful homes and get our steps in at the same time! Leslie’s pace was perfect and allowed us to take a bathroom and coffee break in the middle of the tour. If you want to learn more about the Garden district, or just want to tour a beautiful neighbourhood this is the tour for you! I had a great time with Bonnie on the Two Chicks walking tour of the Garden District. I highly recommend this tour, it's well worth it and a great way to spend the day in NOLA! The tour ends in the middle of the garden district so you can head to many of the shops and restaurants on Magazine St or head to Audubon Park after as well.

Loved this tour led by Karen. We had a great tour through the beautiful streets and Karen was so knowledgeable. She asked us several times if we wanted rest breaks too. She shared local food recs and further reading too. Light hearted but informative. This was a great tour and wonderful area to visit outside of the French Quarter.

It’s mostly walking around a few square blocks in the garden district looking at houses from the street. it was not much history mostly they talked about how much the house sold for and what famous person lived nearby
