Susan was our guide. She did a great job of explaining the history behind the food that we enjoyed. I would definitely take the tour again. In addition, we tried everything from alligator sausage to gumbo, a couple of different sanwiches, and some sweet praline treats. There were also opportunities to purchase adult beverages and take bathroom breaks during the tour.

We had a great time with our guide Susan. She gave a good amount of history about the impacts of Creole, Cajun, and other cultures on the food that we were enjoying. The tour itself was generous with the amount of food and variety that you get. We booked this to do first on our trip, and it was helpful to see other places that were interesting to revisit after the tour was completed. Definitely recommend if you want to get a sample of the food that New Orleans has to offer, so that you can experiment more with what food you'd like to try more of later.
This is a wonderful tour where we got to try many different foods native to New Orleans from different local restaurants and shops. Our guide Kristi was very personable and enthusiastic and gave us a lot of historical information about both New Orleans and the food, which made the tour very enjoyable. My personal favorite was the muffalata and beignets. Highly recommend!

We had an outstanding food tour with Nate. We went to a wide variety of local food locations, most of which we would not have found on our own. We sampled a number of local New Orleans specialties. Nate also did a great job giving us insight into the history and culture of New Orleans. He has a wealth of information and gave us a number of recommendations, both food and non-food related. The pacing was perfect, and the amount of food was filling but not overwhelming. Highly recommend.

Honestly the food was not that great - we found better food on our own. However Nate the guide was really informative and fun, giving us alot of information about New Orleans and the food and culture. The guide saved the tour.
Nate was our food tou4 guide and he was great. He was knowledgeable about Ne2 Orleans and has fun and interesting stories that he shared with us. The food was all delicious and well paced. I highly recommend taking this tour as an introduction to New Orleans.

Kristi was an outstanding guide. She knows New Orleans history inside and out, and her enthusiasm for the city carries through every stop. Come hungry for stories, not a feast: the tastings are samples of authentic local cuisine, chosen to show how the city's history shaped its food. Granted the food was delicious too.

Our guide Nate was very informative and humorous! Enjoyed all the sampled foods especially the alligator sausage. It was a fun way to sample local foods and see the French Quarter.
Kristi was a wonderful tour guide. She was very knowledgable and patient with us all. With the slightly rainy weather, she was very upbeat. She even modified the tour by getting our pralines to have at the restaurant after the gumbo instead of making us stand in the rain.
Just an all around great experience! Restaurants were great, as was the food. Walking manageable even for me with some mobility limitations! Got to sit at each stop which was critical for me. Susan, our guide, was a 5 star times 100. So knowledgeable. So present. Interacted with every guest. A real keeper. She even offered to stay after the tour to answer any questions or help with any guest's New Orleans plans. A gem! Do not know what you are paying her, but pay her more !!!

This was awesome! The food we got to try was absolutely delicious and it was a good variety of local specialties. The portions were divided up well so I didn't feel like I was able to try all the dishes, but I definitely ended the tour feeling full and satisfied! Nate was a great tour guide!

Our tour guide Nate was very good, but the food overall was subpar, very touristy and pretty bland. This is not a tour for foodies - but if you want to try average gumbo, below average shrimp po-boy, greasy alligator sausage, etc this is for you. We were very disappointed across the board. Stay off this tour and research where the best food in Nola is!

The history on the tour was great! The food selection was poor. The menu sequence and choices were disappointing, especially for $170/2 people. I could have found more interesting dishes with my own research. But most disappointing was the guide’s attitude and demeanor. It can only be described as lacking interpersonal skills and throwing shade at random.
