New Orleans Evening Small-group Haunted Walking Tour

Just ok, went to 2 bars, good drinks, lewd ghost stories were kinda lame. Adele was nice but not super engaging. She seemed bored with her job. Fun-ish way to spend an evening not on bourbon street, but just ok.

Had a blast and learned a lot! Three bar stops made it fun to get to know my fellow companions! Taking the tour at night gives a fun, spooky vibe. Our guide was so entertaining and knowledgeable! Would do this again in a second! Highly recommended!

After taking the excellent Unique Nola Tours Garden District tour with Dane, we just had to take another one with him as our guide. The guide makes the tour and Dane is fantastic. He is articulate, well-paced, knowledgeable, humorous, personable..just not enough adjectives. The tour is interesting mixing both history and ghost stories; some real, some imagined. Really a must-do (and you must-do it with Unique Nola Tours) tour for anyone visiting New Orleans. ps: Unique Nola is SMALL GROUP and reasonable! We passed tour after tour with 30, 40 people. Why would anyone do that?

Ashley was a great tour guide who adapted the tour to include more history and fun facts to match our groups interests!

It was disappointing. We walked around and heard stories. You do not walk through cemeteries. The stories were lack luster.

Very knowledgeable guide, knew less of local history and able to tailor tour to the interest of the group.

Not scary or even spooky. It was a history lesson. Very disappointing. Guide Roni even asked if we just wanted to sit and talk about the stories. We said no, we wanted the walking tour to see the places he was talking about. Very disappointed.

Did a solo trip to New Orleans and wanted to do a little haunt tour. Got lucky and had my own private tour guide, Roni, who was absolutely epic! So knowledgeable about the city and had all the stories galore!

We did a small group walking tour with Elaine as our guide. Boy am I glad we did a small group. We had a great time learning about the sordid history of New Orleans and its many haunts. Elaine is super knowledgeable and engaging, and the group was just our little family. So we were able to pass up the sluggish large groups and get an amazing tour and backstory for each of the sites. Perfect first-day-in-the-French-Quarter activity. Thanks, Elaine, for a fun, educational night.

Delvin was awesome! We had a lot of fun and he had a lot of energy. We kept out of the reallt busy parts which i liked and heard some interesting history

We did the small group tour here and it was so much fun! Dane, our tour guide, was absolutely amazing!! He was very informative, funny, and considerate. He kept the whole group engaged in everything he was saying and showing us. We passed a lot of other group tours, and I have to say from what I could hear, our tour seemed like the best!

I loved it. Great historical stories told in a way that captures me until the end. I love the bit of ghosts in each story and how it left you to your own imagination to decide how to interpret its continued presence or not.

Well, we now know the life story of our tour guide, but unfortunately not a lot about New Orleans. It ran long and was terribly boring. We left the group early to go explore on our own.

Nowhere in the description does it disclose that this is a family-friendly tour. I understand that there are certainly kids who can and will enjoy a haunted tour, but in our group there were 4 kids who, among them, wouldn’t stop talking, complaining about being tired, and being disruptive. We had assumed this would have included darker and more adult themes and really didn’t expect it to be “watered down” like it was. We left less than an hour into the tour because it’s not at all what we had planned to participate in.

Elaine was fabulous. Great experience.stories were interesting. All the guests were enjoying themselves.would recommend

We learned so much with Adelle. She knows so much things about Louisiana. It was obvious that she was passionate about the subject and we had a pretty good time.

We went on the Our Favorite Ghosts Tour. Adelle was a great tour guide. She is very knowledgeable about the city and a very entertaining guide. Great experience!

My family and I absolutely loved this tour! Elaine did a perfect job of balancing out history with ghost/spooky stories. I loved learning about the architecture in buildings and she bought to our attention small things, such as spikes on the poles, that I would’ve never know were significant. I’d really recommend this tour, especially if you’re looking for a smaller group.

We were a really small group and enjoyed the history along with the ghost stories and murder tales. An intersection look at.the French Quarter from it's earliest ndays.

Tour was a high point of our trip. Our guide Elaine was warm , funny and super informative. We were able to navigate the sometimes chaotic streets of New Orleans and some really fun local history. Highly recommended.

Elaine is the best ghost tour guide in New Orleans! Tons of ghost stories based in real history, not fanciful or made up stories for shock. The tour started and ended on time, and there was time enough for a drink! Make sure to go with Elaine - people are dying to get on her tours.

Adelle was our tour guide for small group tour. She was very interesting and we liked all the stops. She even knew where a family friendly bathroom was in a neat old hotel. We really enjoyed it and learned a lot. It was just our family of 6 which was nice.

Jonathan was very interesting — I learned a lot about the history of New Orleans and interesting people that lived in the city from the early 1800s until now. Definitely recommend this tour!!

Elaine was our tour guide and was wonderful! We went on a Monday night so we were actually the only ones on the tour. It was like a private tour! She was extremely knowledgeable, provided rich history with ghostly flair, and was very friendly. Highly recommend. Ask for Elaine!

Learning the history of the French Quarter was amazing! I’d recommend doing the haunted tour at night, then Revisiting during the day to see everything with your new knowledge!

So much fun for the whole family even the 4 yr old! Our guide Dalvin was really entertaining and even taught us something new after taking these tours twice before. Our family would highly recommend this small group tour for the extra attention to detail and more personal experience.

Dalvin managed the group dynamics well and was engaged with any interested member of the group. A good combination of historical narrative and melodramatic flourishes.
