This tour was excellent!! Jeff was awesome and had so many cool stories and tidbits to share. And then there was FOOODDD!! We got to try so many delicious things, some of which intimidated the hell out of me, but I came out of this tour with the confidence of a local!! I would 100% take this tour again!

Itinerary
Our city itself is the attraction! What we do is enjoy it together. We start in a park under our old oak trees, we bike through 200 year old local historically zoned neighborhoods with their colors anther outward expression of our own. The streets are filled with something for all of your senses....except taste, don't taste our streets, save that for the food stops. We visit three of our favorite food places, ones we enjoy ourselves. The food is another part of the experience, and we heap lots of experiences on your plate along the way. You will not see a 'site', but the sire is everywhere along the way and the entire tour.

Great food and fun biking through charming neighborhoods. Very informative guide about food and city history.
This was an amazing tour and Jeff was such an amazing guide! We were a group of 14, but he went out of his way to make the process as seamless as possible despite taking on a larger group than normal. There was even a hilariously decorated bike for my partner’s birthday! The food was fabulous and Jeff told us so many interesting facts about the history and culture while eating. The last stop had a beautiful view of the Mississippi River while ate our po boys on some benches outside. If you want a fun tour of the beautiful neighborhoods while getting to experience good food as a local instead of a tourist, I would 100% recommend this experience, and tell Jeff we said hi!
Jeff was really nice, shared a lot of great history, and took us on some really superb food stops🤤 10/10 would recommend!
A fun bike ride through NOLA, with delicious foods, and a knowledge guide. So much good food!
This was an excellent experience. The guide, Jeff, was fun, interactive, informative on the history of New Orleans & its fantastic foods. The food was outstandingly delicious. Left the tour full & even had some leftovers. No one will beat Loretta's praline stuff beignets.
The best way to explore the culture and history of the city and the food
Great way to get a local feel of New Orleans and a bunch of great food places we wouldn’t have otherwise discovered. Definitely recommend!
Consistent with the reviews I had read, this was an outstanding tour. We were a group of 4 friends, 2 of us with lots of experience in NOLA and 2 first time visitors. Jeff worked with us before the tour to custom design an all-day experience that covered both culinary highlights as well a creole culture and history and added a contemporary flair. Our cruiser bikes were comfortable and we were provided with helmets, bottles of water and basic, sensible safety instructions to avoid cars and the city's many potholes! As guide, Jeff is a terrific conversationalist and story-teller who engages riders with his knowledge of what makes NOLA such an interesting, unique and quirky place. All of us left the tour more informed about this unique city, its culture and traditions and feeling well fed too! This was a great way to spend a day. 10/10.
We had a great time on the food tour. The food was excellent, and we learned a ton of interesting history of New Orleans.
Jeff was amazing and knowledgeable, we had a great time tooling around New Orleans and eating the best food
Excellent tour. Tons of food, and a great way to see a little slice of New Orleans!
This was awesome. My advice is to do this tour and don’t eat breakfast! I was expecting sample size portions of food but we stopped at three great places and left very full of excellent food. Our guide did a good job of explaining the history of NOLA cuisine. A great way to avoid the tourist traps and see a bit of the city. Thanks for a good tour. We are repeat customers and recommend to all our friends!
We loved our bike tour through neighborhoods of New Orleans that we hadn’t seen! The food was fabulous and our guide the owner was friendly and helpful. Bike tours are our favorite way to explore a city. Easy comfortable ride with amazing food. You’ll love it!
A very fun and relaxed way to see part of the city and try some New Orleans food at places we wouldn't have normally. Definitely recommend, I would book this tour again!
The food was incredible and the tour was so much fun. Jeff is very knowledgeable and was a great story teller. I would recommend this tour to anyone travelling to NOLA.
Jeff brought out the best NOLA could offer. The best food, great stories, and top entertainment. Couldn't recommend this any higher. If you're first time in NOLA or never done this don't miss out on this opportunity!
Great bike tour of Treme architecture and history of and what makes NOLA food so appetizing. A safe and easy tour.
What a fabulous experience with our guide Jeff. Would highly recommend this tour especially if you enjoy trying local cuisine and learning a bit of local history along the way.
We had such a fantastic time on our guided biking food tour! This was on my mom’s 70th birthday and Jeff went above and beyond to make her feel special - including a decorated bike! Jeff’s knowledge of NOLA history is extensive. The food stops were spot on and we tried many different delicious dishes. Highly recommend!
Jeff was awesome… ask for him! Knowledgeable and charismatic, guiding you through some the best of the Big Easy! More food than we could eat… skip breakfast and come hungry.
Best tour I could hope for. Amazing food, phenomenal guide, educational. The cycling is easy and only about 4 total miles.
This was my third time to do the culinary tour while visiting New Orleans. That’s how great it is! The bike ride is slow and relaxing so you can take in the neighborhoods you wouldn’t normally see. The food is a sample of what all the different cultures bring to New Orleans and your guide gives a great history lesson of all the cultures and how they came to be “New Orleanians”. This tour is worth the money and you will not leave hungry!
Jeff was a great host and a funny guy. Lots of good info and the locations for food were varied and delicious.
Jeff’s love of his hometown came through at every turn. His tour was the perfect balance of history, culinary knowledge and personal stories. He chose great food stops and his choices were very purposeful. A great way to see and taste the culture of New Orleans!
Jeff was such a great guide with funny and informative stories about the city. The food was also delicious. Highly recommend.
We had a great local guide with lots of good stories. You get a good amount of great tasting food at each stop. It was a fun and casual bike ride with opportunity to take photos
A great way to see off the beaten track New Orleans with delicious food way better than you’d find yourself. Jeff was a great guide . Highly recommended!
Food was great! Jeff was very knowledgeable about the good and culture of New Orleans. The experience and Jeff was very chill!
The food is great. He was very knowledgeable and friendly. We had a great time. The conversation was great and learned a lot about the history of how the food originated in this area.
I surprised my cyclist husband with this for our 20th anniversary and it did not disappoint! Our knowledgeable tour guide, Jeff, took us on a private tour through neighbourhoods we hadn’t yet seen on our trip, and I tried a crawfish for my first time! The pace was relaxed and the tour was the perfect amount of time. I was almost too full to finish the best Po Boy I ever had! Highly recommend.
One of our favourite outings from our 3-week holiday in the US! Very chill and interesting, plus great food - win-win-win! Highly recommended!!
Went on a bike tour with my best friends and we had a blast. It was a really fun and unique experience to bike around the city. Our tour guide Jeff took us to some hidden gems that I would not be able to find as a tourist searching for places myself. He was very knowledgeable about the city and its cuisine. I was recommended this tour by a friend who went several years ago and said it was his most memorable experience about New Orleans. Same here!
Excellent food accompanied by the interesting history behind it! Biking at a fun, leisurely pace through the vibrant neighborhoods! I would also recommend doing it toward the beginning of your trip to get inspiration for local sites and flavors! Would do again!!
This was a great trip! The food we tried was great and Jeff was a knowledgeable fun guide. We would definitely recommend this tour
Jeff was absolutely wonderful and incredibly knowledgeable. He took us to hidden local gems, shared fascinating insights about New Orleans’ food, history, and culture, and made sure we enjoyed an abundance of delicious dishes. We highly recommend him!
It was more than food, it was history and culture and more! Loved it and recommendations A++ I will return for history ride for sure!
Visited NOLA several times, done bike tours and food tours. Jeff took us on a different food tour, visiting new places, eating where locals eat and he has a great understanding of history and food. Kudos Jeff🙌
We absolutely loved our culinary bike tour in New Orleans! This unique experience was the perfect way to explore outside of the French Quarter while indulging in its incredible food scene. Thanks to the bikes, we ventured off the beaten track and discovered hidden gems that we never would have found on our own. The food was phenomenal—each stop offered a variety of authentic and flavorful food that showcased the best of New Orleans cuisine. Jeff, our tour guide, even helped my husband and sister-in-law who don’t really like seafood and pork (I know!) It was exceptionally great value for the quality and quantity of food we enjoyed. The combination of biking through the charming streets and learning about the city’s rich culinary history made this tour unforgettable. If you’re looking for a fun, active, and tasty way to experience New Orleans, this is it. Highly recommend!
Jeff was a great guide. Starting at Loretta’s was a joy. Fantastic introduction to the city and good conversations with Jeff and the other riders.
Jeff was entertaining and provided New Orleans history to pair with some great food! Enjoyed seeing some neighborhoods away from the French Quarter. Sampled tasty food with a locals flavour.
Jeff was full of knowledge and good local stories. The bikes were great cruisers, easy for anybody. The food stops were places a tourist would probably not ever know about. The food itself was terrific! Definitely recommend
Jeff gave us a fantastic tour. We all ended up fatter, but happy! Jeff was personable, knowledgable, interesting and witty and gave us a very tasty ride through the city filled with loads of interesting facts and history of the region. We have done many bike tours around the world and this one definitely ranks right up the top. Do it!!!
I have been on numerous food tours and without a doubt this is one of the best! It is easy biking since all the roads are flat! Each food stop provided wonderful and filling samples of New Orleans. Culinary styles. The food was amazing and plentiful and Jeff is an outstanding, knowledgeable guide! This tour was one of the highlights of our visit to New Orleans! We can't wait to visit again!!
Jeff was a friendly and knowledgeable guide! Made cycling around the city safe and enjoyable! The portions and variety were just right and the food was DELICIOUS obviously! 😄
Jeff and Cathy did an amazing job taking us to some of the best spots for food in New Orleans. They know the city, it's history, and it's food inside and out. A tour by bike is a great way to cover a lot of ground in a small period of time, and the tour included a TON of delicious food. With a large group of 14, we really appreciated the amount of preparation and care that went into making sure our group had a good experience (tables reserved, food ordered ahead of time so we didn't have to wait, etc.) They even offered to take a bunch of pictures of our group - some of our favorite photos of the trip. If you're coming to New Orleans, don't miss this awesome way to see the city and taste some incredible food!
The culinary tour is must-do if you want to do “as the locals” in New Orleans. I would have never thought to do this on my own, but it was highly recommended by a friend. It did not disappoint! We were taken to places I never would have gone to otherwise as a tourist. The food was absolutely phenomenal!! Thanks to Jeff, we cannot wait to come back to NOLA! Thank you, Jeff for a wonderful experience.
Jeff was an excellent and knowledgeable local guide who took us to great spots! Bikes, food, history - a morning well spent!
I've been visiting New Orleans for over 50 years and found several new favorite restaurants or dishes because of Street Tour. Their guides know and love the city. They can do custom tours, and love offering suggestions for extensions or revisiting. (Bennachin vegetarian African food, the praline bacon at Elizabeth's and the soft shell crab beignets at Loretta's, and the Cajun seafood place across from Kermit's Mother in Law lounge in case you were wondering).
Love this company and went when they were Confederacy Cruisers and A Street Tour Named Desire. We have gone multiple times when in town and brought our college age kids and friends. Your tour guide shares so much knowledge of the city, you see so much and the food - OH MY! They have cute baskets to put your beer (if partaking) and we make friends every single time we go. The tour guide makes the tour so fun and engaging. You can’t go wrong with any of the tours and they are the BEST!!!
