Itinerary
Soak in the sights and sounds of New Orleans’ most iconic neighborhood. From the colorful Creole townhouses to Bourbon Street and Jackson Square, your guide shares fascinating stories that bring the French Quarter to life.
Admire oak-lined streets filled with 19th-century mansions, many still owned by famous New Orleanians. This elegant neighborhood showcases the city’s antebellum architecture and southern charm.
Step inside one of New Orleans’ famous “Cities of the Dead.” Learn why our burials are above-ground, explore ornate tombs, and hear stories of notable locals laid to rest here.
Drive through one of the oldest urban parks in the United States, famous for its centuries-old oak trees draped in Spanish moss. Larger than New York’s Central Park, City Park is home to beautiful lagoons, sculpture gardens, and some of the most picturesque scenery in New Orleans.
Pass by the legendary Caesars Superdome, home of the New Orleans Saints and one of the most recognizable landmarks in the city. Once a symbol of hardship during Hurricane Katrina, the Superdome now stands as a powerful emblem of resilience, hosting world-class concerts, sporting events, and unforgettable moments in New Orleans history.
Experience the heartbeat of New Orleans’ live music scene. Known as the locals’ alternative to Bourbon Street, Frenchmen Street is lined with jazz clubs, funky bars, art markets, and colorful street performers. Even from the bus, you’ll feel the energy that makes this vibrant strip the city’s go-to spot for authentic nightlife and live jazz.
Explore America’s oldest public market, a vibrant hub dating back to 1791. Stretching along the Mississippi River, the French Market is filled with open-air stalls, local crafts, souvenirs, and the scents of Creole spices and freshly fried beignets. It’s the perfect place to experience the flavors and spirit of New Orleans.

This was a phenomenal tour, the 5 of us absolutely loved it, our guide was amazing, she was extremely knowledgeable, was very easy to listen to and engage with, and brought a personal touch to the tour
Great comprehensive tour - good overview of New Orleans Our guide, Tyra, helped make it special Highly recommend
Loved this tour. Tara was awesome. She never stopped talking, which means she knows her stuff. Loved her.
Tyra (not banks) was AMAZING!! I absolutely recommend her as a tour guide. She was informative and funny.
Tyra was great and her passion for the city showed during the tour.
Wonderful way to spend 3 hours being shown the highlights of New Orleans. Gary, our guide/driver, was extremely informative and personable.
I loved it! Interesting facts, excellent tour of tourist areas AND the less traveled spots like the St Louis Cemetary #3, levees, and Treme - all in a comfortable mini-bus with climate control! Efficient but you do not feel rushed, good views, nice stops to get out and take a closer look, beignets at Cafe DuMode without the wait! It is a great way to get your bearings in NOLA. The guide is very knowledgeable and engaging, I hope he is available when I return with my parents!
Gary was fabulous do full of knowledge went about and beyond. Highly recommend
This was a great tour around the city as an overview to check out the historic areas, the homes around the city and learn more about how the city was built, shaped by the cultures of people who live here and the after effects of Hurricane Katrina. This also gave us some ideas for other places we wanted to visit in subsequent days during our trip. We were able to stop for a brief visit to one of the city's cemetaries. The fresh beignets during the park stop didn't hurt either. The motor coach was clean and air conditioned which was nice on a sultry day. The pickup and drop off at our hotel was appreciated. Our tour guide, Gary K, was knowledgable, personable and friendly. You could tell her knew his history and was able to navigate busy streets while sharing a lot of great detail about his home.
Pick up at Doubletree Hilton was simple. Tyra was our tour guide and she was knowledgeable and funny. Saw the Garden district, the cemeteries, all the levies from Katrina, city park including Cafe du Monde, and the French Quarter.
Tyra was a great guide! She was knowledgeable of history and events in New Orleans. She was funny, accommodating, and entertaining.
My group of friends had Tyra as our tour guide and we really enjoyed her energy. Loved all the areas we viewed and really enjoyed learning about the history of NOLA. The personal stories about hurricane katrina were so touching.
We greatly enjoyed our tour. Learned so much about New Orleans beyond the French Quarter! Our tour guide, Tyra, was great. Pleasant, friendly and a great source of information. Overall great experience.
Tyra was great! It was very informative and fun. We were able to get off the bus a few times and she was willing to let us out anywhere we wanted to take pictures
Good overview of the city and its history. Easy way to get the lay of the land and identify areas to return to for more sightseeing.
It was great! Our tour guide was great,, funny, informative, and sweet. I saw all the places in one trip.
This was an excellent experience seeing New Orleans for the first-time. I enjoyed the park and Cafe Du Monde. Garden district and cemetary view were interesting.

This was an excellent tour and a great value for the money. Our tour guide, Gary, was the best! He was very knowledgeable and seemed to truly enjoy what he does. He was born and raised in NOLA and was able to give an ‘authentic’ touch to the tour. He even gave recommendations for things to do and see and places to dine, and shared his personal experiences about many of the recommendations. I really liked that they picked us up from and dropped us off at our hotel.
Booked this excursion last minute and so glad we did ! There is so much information packed into 1 3 hour tour it was amazing ! Our guide was Gary, I had seen reviews on him and if you are lucky enough to get him as you guide you are in for a treat! He was so informational and if you are like I was you think of New Orleans and Bourbon Street and Jazz … but there is SOOO much to this amazing city ! We were so impressed that we will be back for longer so we can explore the different areas more completely 🙌.
Ask for Gary. Most knowledgeable and interactive. Provides recommendations for dining and attractions.
Tremendous overview of New Orleans. Fascinating view of the Garden District with a great narration from our driver Gary who is an expert on the city and its history.
Very interesting , host Gary was very knowledgeable about everything. Comfortable bus. Just wish we could have stayed longer at the stops especially the cemetery

We really enjoyed the Tour bus ride. The driver Gary was informative and had great sense of humor while navigating the Tour. The stops at city park, cemetery and famous Cafe DuMond was memorable. The bus was full but not uncomfortably crowded. Great time.
The van is very comfortable. Gary shares tons about the city and makes it very interesting. He offered lots of ideas about places to see (and restaurants) and do around the city. Everyone should do Gary's tour on their first day in the city, the rest of their vacation will be a blast!
Gary was great. Very knowledgeable about New Orleans, kept us interested with his humor and answers. We would highly recommend him to anyone.
Gary was quite gregarious and a font of knowledge about New Orleans. My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed trip.
It gives the rich history of New Orleans, high lights, low lights visiting areas related as such. Go
The city tour was great. Gary, our tour guide was very knowledgeable and even sent texts with restaurant and music venue recommendations.
Gary, our tour director was awesome. He was knowledgeable and entertaining. We’ve been to NOLA many times but learned some new historical information. I highly recommend.
The tour guide was amazing! Not only did she have the most pleasant voice that you could hear but she was incredibly knowledgeable. We learned an incredible amount during the tour and yet it was fun , engaging, and at times heartfelt. Also she drove the bus while doing all of the above! Not one single horn honk, stopping fast, getting too close to a car...it was smooth sailing! I would give a 100 stars if I could! Great job!!
Gary was amazing!! An absolute wealth of historical and cultural knowledge. I initially booked this tour as I thought it was a walking tour, but when I found out it would be largely a driving tour I quickly pivoted. It was great to be able to see soooooo many parts of NO. Having never been here before I would suggest doing this so you can determine other parts of the city that you may want to go back and explore more in depth. NO has so much culture and history and there is never a shortage of things to see , do and experience. Thanks Gary for a great day and for sharing so much interesting information!
Fantastic tour! Great guide- I had Gary who was so knowledgeable with fun facts about the city. Nice air conditioning vehicle and good highlight reel of the city seeing many different neighborhoods! Highly recommend
Gary Kuhn was a fantastic tour guide! He was kind and knowledgeable. He made the experience so fun! I already recommended his tour to all of my friends and family.

My Fiancée and I had an amazing time with this tour! We’re from Arkansas and have never been to Louisiana let alone New Orleans. This tour was the perfect way to get to see so much of this city in just a few hours. Our tour guide Gary was amazing. He was so knowledgeable about everything there is to know. I personally 10/10 recommend.
Tyra was an amazing guide and driver! It was a good introduction to the New Orleans area in just 3 hours. Great information provided on the history and current status of each area visited.
This was such an enjoyable tour. I was in town for a conference and wanted to see a little bit of the city. I’ve never been! I felt like this was the perfect way to see a little bit of everything. Really really enjoyed it. Would absolutely recommend!
Gary deserves ten stars! He was a knowledgeable, hilarious guide who brought New Orleans history to life. The tour covered the Garden District, Ninth Ward, French Quarter, a cemetery, and Café Du Monde—and hotel pickup made everything seamless. Highly recommended!
