Down-to-earth, helpful and fun tour; great stories and perspective. We left feeling like we had "the lay of the land." Our guide was fun and kind; clearly knowledgeable but retained curiosity and was easy to talk to. The bikes were nice/comfortable. I'm very glad we did the tour on our first day in the city!

Rain or shine you go! It rained a good share of the adventure. I would still recommend to go. Great way to see the city. Justin was very knowledgable, shared with us history and importance of many areas, sites and interesting facts. Highly recommend.
Great introduction to the city. Our guide, Justin, was knowledgeable, kind, and clearly loves his city.
Great tour around garden district in NOLA! Laura the tour guide provided alot of cool information! Must do!
The bike tour was great. Highly recommend ! Mavis was our guide and she was super knowledgeable about the history of the City and lots of fun little facts. The bikes are easy to ride. The terrain is flat so anyone worried about that should not. She answered all the questions we had. You will see a lot of areas you might not see on your own.
We lucked out by being the only group so we had an unplanned private tour with Mavis. Great time and way to cover a lot of ground. Mavis is super knowledgeable and even though I’ve been coming to New Orleans for years, learned quite a bit more history! Highly recommend!
The bike tour was good. And Mavis was a wonderful guide, full of historical knowledge. BUT the location is extremely hard to locate. There is a small sign, which is hard to see, on what looks like an abandoned lot. We drove by the place three times and couldn't find it. The contact number was not answered after three tries. And the emails weren't answered. We almost gave up, and finally got a call from the guide. This excursion is not up to Viator standards until the owner has proper signage, so that tourists can connect. I thought it was a scam.
We never would have attempted riding bikes through the city without a guide. It was a great way to cover some ground, hear interesting stories, and get great recommendations.
Excellent tour and history of New Orleans. Easy ride and stories were very entertaining. Loved it, recommend it. Mavis, our guide is a gem!
Great tour. Fun group. Biking always felt safe and easy. Saw a lot of great neighborhoods. Tour leader dropped a lot of interesting local knowledge and had good recommendations for later.
My friend and I had an amazing tour with Tanya! She was very knowledgeable about the history of the city and great places to eat. Since our tour group was small Tanya showed us a lot of local places and neighborhoods, showed us a festival, and the French Market. We got the true New Orleans experience that you wouldn’t get on a bus or walking around.
We had Justin for our city … and he knows all great things about New Orleans. If you’re looking for a great scenic and knowledgeable bike ride with awesome food.. book Justin !!!
We really enjoyed our tour. It was a very informative and interesting ride around the city, learning about the history and architecture of New Orleans. We went a lot further into the areas than you would on a walking tour.
We thoroughly enjoyed this bike tour as it took us all over New Orleans. The tour guide was really informative about the history and stories of the city. We really got a lot out of it.
Best way to see the entire city!! Justin was very knowledgeable and gave us time to walk around and take pictures when we stopped! We stopped half way for a snack and beverage!
Great way to see the city! The bikes were clean and in great shape. The tour was informative and was enjoyed by all.
The tour was an excellent way to see different parts of New Orleans. This helped us choose what we wanted to see next. Our guide was very knowledgeable about all things NOLA! Highly recommend!
Fantastic way to see New Orleans outside of the French quarter. Tanya the guide was extremely well informed and made lots of recommendations that were valuable.
It was a great tour and I had a lot of fun! They have good bikes, a great guide and I highly recommend this tour. I learned a lot about New Orleans and our Guide was very flexible and responsive to our wishes.
Justin offered a great history tour! His stories were fascinating. He took us to all the best places and patiently watched our bikes any time we went on a side trip. He was perfect and a lot of fun!
Mavis was well informed and knowledgeable about the history and happenings around New Orleans. There was a brief rainstorm and she was prepared with ponchos for all. We had lots of fun!
This was our second tour with Paved Paradise and it did not disappoint. The tour guide was knowledge, friendly and the tour was such a great way to see so much of what NOLA has to offer. This is not a large corporate feel company. They are a small group that takes great care of their bikes. I can’t recommend this company or their tours enough!
Brian hooked it up with great information and a great local's perspective on the city filled with diverse stories and tidbits. Very helpful and friendly and everyone felt safe and well cared for.
Awesome bike ride with a great tour guide! Thank you! Tania was very friendly and knowledgeable! We enjoyed our time with her.
We had a great morning cycling with Erin around the city. Super comfy bikes. Erin was incredibly welcoming, friendly and knowledgeable. We stopped at lots of places and got a very good overview of the city and its history. Erin also gave us lots of recommendations. So glad we did this tour on our first morning in New Orleans. Highly recommended.
We Loved our Paved Paradise Bike Tour. Tonya kept us moving and then had us pull over for a history-story lesson and a stroll while she watched our bikes. We went to a restaurant and a bar on her recommendation and felt like we had a little mental map of where we wanted to visit later.
We expected more information about the history of the area, interesting facts about the city/housing/population/current events, etc. We have been on many bicycle tours in the US and internationally and this was the least informative by far. Usually the guides are fascinated by the history and current events of their area and have a wealth of knowledge. They are excited to share what they know with the group. The bicycling around the area was great. We were disappointed in the minimal amount of interesting information Justin was able to share with us.

The history and sights were well worth it! We saw most of the city and the ride was very easy. If in doubt, do it.
Sarah made our experience such a pleasure. We learned so much about NOLA at every stop. We felt safe and comfortable the entire time. It’s the best way to see the sights and get exercise too. Highly recommend!
We had a wonderful time with SARAH as our guide. She did a fabulous job! Would highly recommend to others.
…if the guides would cover areas we did not see the first time. What an amazing experience!!! My husband and I were celebrating our anniversary and decided to see as much of New Orleans as we could. A 3+ hour ride through many of the neighborhoods of New Orleans allowed us to see much more than we could on our own and gave us venues to visit that we passed along the way. Our guide was spectacular and knew so much historical information about the city. We highly recommend this bike tour.
It was a beautiful experience seeing the city and learning the history. Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend going if you have time.
This bike tour was the perfect start to our holiday. We saw all the sites and our guide was very knowledgeable! The tour was well paced and not rushed. We enjoyed every minute of it. It made New Orleans look exactly how we imagined!
My friend and I enjoyed the bike tour around the city of New Orleans. You will travel about 10 miles but there is so much to see that it doesn't feel like 10 miles. Our only complaint is that the roads are really bad. Lots of pot holes to avoid and areas where there is cobblestone. Besides that, I recommend this tour. Our guide was great!
This was a great tour. The guide was so knowledgeable about the city and showed a genuine love for the diversity in the city. I would recommend this tour for anyone that would like to know the history of New Orleans.
We really appreciated all the knowledge Brian had about the city. It was such a great experience. Tanya checked us in and was so nice and accommodating.
Totally enjoyed seeing the neighbourhoods and riding through the city. Definitely recommend this. Bikes were maintained and we had a few to choose for.
Tour was great. We plan to do another tour the next time we’re in town. Tonya was very knowledgeable of the city, its rich history and culture. The ride was safe.
Our bike ride was cut short by a torrential rain storm. Tanya our guide broke out the ponchos and gave a verbal tour of what would have remained of the tour. We decided to Uber home. Tanya was the best, Thanks.
Got to see most of the N'awlins sites we'd hoped for. Tanya was great, and very patient with me (waiting for me to catch up. Too many photos ops!)
10/10 would recommend. Our guide was amazing. Very informative, kind and safe. The bikes were cruisers and had gears.
Great tour fun and informative. Highly recommend if you want some great info about the city before you do your own exploring!!!
Visiting the French Quarter and beautiful parks and learning about the history of jazz over the years
Tanya was an amazing tour guide, very knowledgeable about history and culture and nature and music and where to eat and what to see in NO. She answered our many questions and stopped at some great spots to explain some of her favorite NO sites. We felt we really got to know the neighborhoods and sections of NO - French Quarter, Garden District, Jackson Square, Treme, Congo Square, etc! The streets of NO can be pretty rough - we felt the bikes were well equipped to handle any obstacles and Tanya was great about warning us of any upcoming hazards. She took more time than allotted for the tour (so many questions). Our family from Germany who accompanied us were equally impressed ! Overall an awesome experience and a great way to learn about NO!
Just meh! Our family enjoyed the ride, but I think if we would have rented blue bikes it would have been just as good. I feel our guide Justin needs to refine his tour guide skills. It felt like he was just on a bike ride with people tagging along. Not really interesting or any fun stories.
We had a wonderful time with Sarah as our guide. She made sure we had a great time and showed us some of the main highlights of the city on an especially crazy busy Saturday! Something we didn’t love was the company itself. The bikes/helmets they provided (while functional), were kind of janky. We also felt like the route could’ve been improved a bit and wished there were some more stops to talk about the history of the city and highlights. Overall we loved our guide, Sarah, but think the company could make some improvements.
Would recommend this tour very highly. Tanya was a great guide, with a great depth of historical knowledge. Really enjoyed getting to all the different districts. Thank you!!
Great way to explore the city! We did the morning trip when the streets aren’t too busy with cars or pedestrians. Casual speed so that you can look around. The guide has a lot of history to share with us and you can see that he loves his city!
The amount of information about all the different areas of NOLA was invaluable! Our tour guide was great and kept us safe. I would really recommend this to NOLA visitors as it gave us such a comprehensive overview of the different parts of the city as well as the history of each part. Would never have known all of this information! Biking was easy, no hills. Great for families!
