Bonnie was great! She was very knowledgeable and set a pace that was perfect for our group. She gave us just enough information that made you want more, but was not overwhelming. I would highly recommend this tour.

I did two different “Two Chicks” tours in two days and had a great experience with both tours. The guides are knowledgeable, friendly and funny making the tours really pleasant and informative. I learned a lot and also felt like i learned some inside scoop from our local guides. Both tours were small group tours so all participants could hear and interact with our guides. Friendly, well-paced, informative and entertaining - who could ask for more?!

We were very impressed with Sarah's easy going style and deep knowledge of the history and architecture of the French Quarter. She clearly loved her subject and passed on to us an appreciation for this unique neighborhood and outstanding city.

Our native New Orleanian guide, Karen, was great! She was friendly, informative, and went just the right pace. Would highly recommend!!

We had such a great time on the French Quarter Walking Tour! Our guide, Dannel, did an incredible job bringing New Orleans history to life. The deep history behind each spot was really moving to hear, even as locals! We especially enjoyed learning the stories behind iconic landmarks and people like the St. Louis Cathedral, the Beauregard-Keyes House, the Mighty Mississippi, the Ursuline nuns, and so many more. The tour provided the perfect blend of history, architecture, culture, and local insight, giving us a much deeper appreciation for the city's rich heritage. Thank you, Two Chicks!

This was our first visit to New Orleans and several people had mentioned that taking a tour of the French Quarter is a good way to start our visit and this walking tour was perfect for our intro to New Orleans. We learned so much about the history and culture of the area which contributed to our understanding of the customs and architecture of the area. Dannal was our guide and she was excellent. Her knowledge of the area and its history was conveyed in a clear and entertaining manner. I highly recommend Dannal and this walking tour of the French Quarter!

My wife and I took both the Garden District and French Quarter walking tours on February 12 and 13, 2026. I’ve taken many walking/history tours in both areas over the years and booked these hoping my wife could enjoy the kind of animated, immersive storytelling that makes you feel transported to the time and place. That isn’t what we experienced. On both tours we walked about 1.5–1.7 miles with long stretches of near silence, then stopped at roughly 10–12 locations for a brief, fairly dry explanation followed by “any questions?” A significant portion of the content—about half—was repeated across the two tours, which made the second tour especially disappointing. Our guide was pleasant and seemed knowledgeable, but the delivery felt more like a list of basic facts than a guided narrative. As we passed other tour groups, we could hear the energy and vivid storytelling we were hoping for. If you’re looking for a lively, story-driven tour, this may not be the best fit.

We had a wonderful time on our tour! We happened to be visiting New Orleans during a cold spell, so we were the only 2 people, and Dannal was great. The stories were fantastic, and we appreciated that a ton of women’s history was included.

You could tell that she loves New Orleans and also gave us good suggestions of where else to explore. I highly recommend this tour. On time, well run and very enjoyable. We had a well planned and thought out tour of the French Quarter with useful insights into the culture and history that explain it.

Really boring tour of the french quarter, which is incredible because it's actually a really cool place. But our tour guide was inarticulate, jumped around from topic without any sort of making sense, and was just plain boring. I asked a few questions that went unanswered (it could be that she didn't know the answer since she was a recent transplant). Anyway, we ended up ditching the tour because it became really annoying at some point.

Great informative tour. Our tour guide Karen was brilliant. She has lots of knowledge both about the history of the French Quarter and also interesting local resident knowledge. The tour was well paced with stops in the cool to accommodate for the heat. This was my third Two Chicks walking tour (previous tours were in 2018) and all have been excellent. At the end she recommended some great places for lunch. Would highly recommend.

Great historical tour of the city. More about telling the story of the founding of the French Quarter than walking but was really interesting!

John was a great guide and would recommend. He had a good sense of humor and really connected with the group. Walked us thru the French Quarter giving us the highlights and history along with best places to eat a muffuletta. We took him up on the food venue and he was correct the sandwich was delicious. My husband and I had a bowl of gumbo and split a whole sandwich.

We had your rooster Hopper and he was funny and informative and told some great stories. He also gave us great insight into mufflaette sandwiches and where to find great music on Royal and Bourbon street.
