We never made it there because we didn't realize how far the walk was and half way there we called and asked to be rescheduled for Thurs. But no one has returned our call. Lisa guy and George. Our other friends Annette and Rick..

Itinerary
Folk histories of LaLaurie's abuse and murder of her slaves circulated in Louisiana during the nineteenth century
Louis J. Dufilho, Jr. was America's First Licensed Pharmacist. Dufilho’s most significant contribution to the history and integrity of the field of pharmacy took place in New Orleans in 1816.
Vampires have long been fantasized in folklore and mystical tales through the ages, as we can’t help but be enchanted by these curious creatures. And (un)lucky for us, here in Louisiana, vampires are closer to home than we might think. Flawless skin that never seems to age. Eyes that pierce into your soul. Never hungry, but always thirsty. Powerfully charming, yet peculiar. They draw you in with their fascinating stories and hypnotic voices; but you can’t help but think something seems a little strange.
At 183 years old, it boasts a half-basement with a row of sidewalk-level windows and the kind of striking cast-iron filigree balconies on its upper levels that have won it bragging rights as one of the most photographed buildings in the French Quarter. That haunting backstory, though — one that includes a sultan, a stolen harem and mass murder — only gives the Gardette-LePretre House, as it is known, that much more unique a place in New Orleans history. It also gives it the other name by which it is commonly known: The Sultan’s House.
Le Petit Theatre hosts a wide selection of ghosts. Union soldiers, a theater manager, a nun and an actress who committed suicide are just a few of the many spirits that haunt the building. Doors mysteriously blowing open and shutting close and bottles of wine flying off of shelves are just some of the ways that the spirits make their presence known.
At this French Quarter restaurant, patrons dine amongst the spirits of New Orleans’s past. Before serving up plates of goat cheese crepes, the building was believed to have served as a holding facility for slaves being put up for auction in the early 1700s. Then, in 1788, the Great New Orleans Fire partially destroyed the original building. The new owner, Pierre Antoine Lepardi Jourdan, spent several years restoring the property and transforming it into a home for his family. In 1814, he lost his beloved home in a game of poker. Rather than be forced to vacate the house, he died by suicide on the second floor.

It was an interesting tour, Carlo told us a lot of stories about what happened and paranormal experiences. It was very cool.
Robert was awesome and kept the tour moving and had great knowledge. He was very charismatic, and we learned a lot about the stops that we made. We also learned a lot of information that that was not normally known.
Our guide was extremely knowledgeable, friendly and as he spoke, you could literally get that picture/story in your mind.
For a comprehensive history lesson about the city of New Orleans and French Quarter, book with Raffle. Raffle was knowledgeable and hella funny! We learned about all the ghosts and gore of the French Quarter, really interesting stuff. I went with my 13 and 14 year old kids, and they soaked it all up! And he gave us recommendations for shopping, food and where to experience authentic Nola life. We highly recommend!
Fun experience and interesting history!
Great walking tour. Our tour guide, "Raffle" was informative and entertaining. He also paid attention to the safety of the group and offered up many interesting modern day side notes and stories relating to many of these ghostly locations. Highly recommend.
It wasn’t very informative. The tour was based on the tour guide’s personal opinions. It was very hard for me to follow along with what the guide was saying because the information wasn’t given well. It wasn’t entertaining and everyone in my group of 4 were ready to leave. I wouldn’t recommend this tour to anyone else.
Raffle was the best tour guide!!! Would 100% recommend
Good experience , informative guide. Only issue was the meeting location written in Expedia was wrong and missed out on some of the beginning part of the tour. Otherwise it was an enjoyable and interesting experience
Carlo was a great tour guide. Fun experience and interesting history. The tour walked us through the French Quarter, where there were several stops relating to ghosts and murders!
Carlo was knowledgeable, but the tour was more history than haunts. We've been on several ghosts tours and this one was at the bottom of our do again list. The rain didn't bother us too much, but we became disinterested in some of the long history lessons before the "ghost" portion. A couple of spots were good and focused on the haunting portion, but the overall experience was disappointing.
We showed up, they checked us in...then NOTHING. They left us waiting outside with no one around except another couple who were just as confused. As we were walking away, they called to say it was cancelled due to no guide avail. Terrible experience.... very unprofessional - there are a ton of other tours like this...don't book with them.
Rob was very engaging, knowledgeable, and entertaining. Looking forward to taking another tour with him.
The tour guide was great! Gave us lots of history on the places in the French quarter and answered many questions that were asked. Would do again for sure
This was so great! Our guide, Raffle, was so engaging and had amazing stories and insights. I highly recommend checking them out.
Great experience! It’s one of my bucket list items in NOLA. It went into the history of New Orleans and the reasons on why these locations are haunted. Our tour guide was great. At one point another tour guide was rude and made a comment about being too close to her and he handled it respectfully. Highly recommend!!!
Raffle was our tour guide and he was awesome! He is a French Quarter local and he knows EVERYTHING about its history. He had a great sense of humor and he stayed and spoke to my family and me well after the tour ended. I would recommend this tour to anyone who is interested in hearing several ghost stories that are common to the French Quarter, but have been embellished for a variety of reasons. Thanks for the dinner recommendation, Raffle - it was incredible!
Amazing!! Rob was fantastic. Very knowledgeable, funny, and informative. This is my second time going on this tour, and it is my #1 thing I recommend to anyone coming to New Orleans!!
The tour was informative but our tour guide would mess up on his information and would have to go back and reiterate what was said. Which would get confusing at times. But besides that was a nice little walking tour.
Carlo was amazing. His storytelling was fantastic and the tour was great, everyone was on the edge of their seats. 10/10 would recommend
I really really enjoyed Carlo’s personality and how genuine he is. You can tell that he really knows his stuff and that he has a passion for history. My main critique is I think the tour didn’t align with the description. It was more history than scary ghost stories. I also give caution to whoever books this tour- you cannot control who goes on this tour and we had both kids whose parents weren’t keeping them from being rude and people who didn’t follow the only 2 rules that Carlo gave. That was out of Carlo’s control though. My favorite part of the tour was after Carlo finished the tour and we got to speak with him, personally.
We had a great time on our ghost tour through New Orleans. Raffle did a great job entertaining us with stories of ghosts and the paranormal. Highly recommend!
After a hard time finding the meeting point and a sketchy meal, had a fantastic, informative tour with our guide Raffle. He was engaging, experienced, professional, kind (lent his umbrella to one of the participants) and had interesting stories at every stop and along the route. Highly recommend this tour to get a good flavor of French Quarter history, or any of the tours Raffle is guiding.
My group and I throughly enjoyed our haunted walking tour of the French Quarter. Raffle was an amazing tour guide! Warm, welcoming, and comedic, he gave us all the details and spooky history of NOLA in a fun and entertaining manner. Loved the recommendations and personal stories he shared. Would recommend Raffle for ANY tour moving forward.
The tour guide brought the stories to life. Very interesting. Like doing walking tours. The 2 hours went by very quickly.
Raffle was very knowledgeable answered all questions we had. It was great to have such a personable guide. He brought up many things I had never heard about.
Loved the stories. Great storyteller! Learned a lot of New Orleans history. I could have continued. It made me take a closer look at everything we saw.
Our walking tour was canceled, I was a little bummed because I wanted my husband to experience the French Quarter tour but we were upgraded to the cemetery bus tour. It was great and very informative. We had a lot of fun!
Tour guide was attentive, and welcoming. He did a wonderful job with explaining the history and the stories
This tour was excellent! The best part was our tour guide…ask for Raffle, he is the absolute best and has very intimate knowledge of the French Quarter!
Absolutely loved our tour guide Rissle (?) not sure if I spelled that right. Anyway he’s very entertaining and knowledgeable about the history of the city along with all the haunted stories of course. I would highly recommend him to anyone doing this tour.
Raffle was our tour guide. He was fun and humorous and told great ghost stories and so much more. Best tour guide I have had on any ghost tour in years.
Great tour guide and crazy story about Richard Simmons and Nick Cage weaved in to the spookiness. Would highly recommend
Outgoing, curtious, knowledgeable person. He was humorous and fun with the group. The best group tour guide we’ve ever had. Great time.
Excellent tour. Our guide was very knowledgeable about not only the history and lore behind the tour locations but also about the area in general. He took his job very seriously and we always felt safe. Ask for Brandon (Rafel) Gioe, you won’t regret it.
Entertaining and informative tour with Steven. He was very knowledgeable and his witty antidotes made it a great experience
Way too hot & humid to be out walking. Only go NOT in summer. Guide was very knowledgeable & nice but unbearable conditions.
Our guide Raffle gave us alot of great information. We learned alot of intetesting history. Walking the French Quarter was great with alot of history.
Raffle was AMAZING!! He was extremely knowledgeable and knew so much history! 10/10 recommend this tour to anyone! My family loved it!
Raffle our tour guide was great! Learned so much of the history as well as his personal stories from growing up in the French quarter. Went to all the hot spots for paranormal. Very fascinating and spooky!
My husband and I communicated with a ghost. We believe her name is Rose Pierce and she is under 10. I have a video. It was a crazy, amazing experience. Steven, the tour guide, was absolutely delightful.
Our tour guide was very knowledgeable and made the whole experience very fun! We highly recommend this tour to anyone interested in the history of New Orleans
Our guide was Raffles, he was great, very animated. It was fun learning some fun and spooky things about the city.
Our guide was the greatest. Very informative. We had a group of 9. They all enjoyed the stories being told. Definitely enjoyed!
Tour was great. Very Informative. Our guide was very entertaining and from the area. Raffel was an outstanding guide. The rest stop for drinks at lafitte's blacksmith shop was a great place and well timed stop. Will recommend to our friends. Thanks for a great tour!
Really enjoyed this. Our tour guide was phenomenal, born and raised in the French Quarter! I only wish we could have gone in places, but can totally understand as they have become private residences. Love the history of the area and what haunts it!
My boyfriend and I were struggling on which tour to take, we are glad we picked this one!! The fact that we got the haunted history PLUS more!!! Makes us want to extend our trip by another day!!! 10/10 would recommend
We had Raffel as our guide and he was great. He grew up in the area so there were personal stories mixed in with the accounts of the haunted buildings and myths and legends of the area.
Rafal was amazing. Knew a lot about New Orleans, had a great time. The info has me watching some new movies and new series. Lived every minute.
