Back in 1971, Americans Isaac Tigrett and Peter Morton opened the first Hard Rock Cafe in London. Their landlord didn’t think they could pull it off, so he granted them a three-month lease. How wrong that landlord was. Today, the franchise - which includes cafes, casinos and hotels - can be found in more than 63 countries. The franchise owns the world's greatest collection of music memorabilia, and you can see it on display at its locations around the globe. Wow what a Great Place! Food is amazing and service is great. Craiana was our server and when we come back will definitely ask for her again. She was friendly and on top of everything, so nice that's great service still exists. Thanks Again..
New visit to a Hard Rock Cafe, this time in New Orleans. Unfortunately, no surprising sensations from other experiences. Everything's plain. Beverages, burgers, sides, desserts. You know what you're looking for and you find it.
Wonderful service by emmual. Nice guy funny. Manager stopped in to see all the fun! Food excellent.
Came in on a Friday afternoon at 4pm, only 3 other tables occupied but took a waitress 15 minutes to come over and ask if we wanted something. Ordered drinks, starts and mains. Starter arrived, supposed to be chicken tenders, portion size was more like 4 chicken nuggets. Then waited 25 minutes before being able to stop the waitress and ask where our mains were, she told us they weren’t ordered yet. In the 90 minutes we were in the place it was empty, stayed empty despite being right on Bourbon Street which was packed with people and other restaurants with queues outside. Terrible service, lack of interest , poor show for a Hard Rock
Great place to eat in the French Quarter in New Orleans. Right on Bourbon street with all the action . Jazz band played outside & had live music one night. Staff as usual in HRC were really nice
I went for lunch at Hard Rock and the restaurant was virtually empty when I visited before 12pm. The restaurant was quite large with lots of seating options, a good bar and unique exhibits on display of musical memorabilia. I ordered the New York strip which was very good and had a soft drink as the refills are free. Unfortunately, the prices are now very high especially when combined with the minimum 18% service charge in the US.
1st time we went was 9.30pm on a Monday lots of free tables but clearly not enough staff to manage them as we were told we couldn't get a table for more than 2 hours Went back next day got table. We weren't asked if we wanted a 2 Nd drink or a dessert basically the bill was put on our table and we were expected to pay and go. Needless to say the tip I gave represented the service and the server was not happy.
Sean the Manager and Pattie our server were attentive, and we didn’t have to wait long for anything! Enjoyed the decor and of course, the shop!
I thought this would be better. I don’t really go to Hard Rock’s for the food but for the atmosphere and this was kind of a letdown. The decor was minimal and there weren’t TV’s everywhere like I’m used to. The menu showed promise as there were some new items, like the jambalaya I tried, but it was a pale imitation.
I eaten at Hard Rock Cafe's everywhere. This one I wont be back to. On the the edge of Bourbon Street it seemed like a "Can't miss!" Well it did. Though I was seated quickly - my waitress decided to socialize with a table for 10 minutes while I was in plain view - no apology ! My fries were cold and hamburger overcooked. I had to grab her attention every time as I was an afterthought.
Bad food, bad service, all the bad. Obviously they were having a very bad day. Our server was in tears and she kept forgetting us. She was way in over her head. The staff didn’t seem to look like they were working as a team, either. A well run restaurant it is not. We had salads and they were barely ok.
The restaurant is in the heart of bourbon street so easy location, went late in the evening and was seated with no issues, the waitress was polite and quirky as you’d expect from a hard rock, the burgers were nice too, no complaints.
I visited on a Thursday evening and upon entering, I was promptly greeted and shown a seat. The waitress was very friendly and attentive. Overall, the experience and the food (pulled pork sandwich) were ok at this location
We are trying to go to HRC whenever we can. We’ve been to NYC, in Bali, in Maui…. Again we had a great experience this time in NOLA. Shane the manager and his team were brilliant! We had great service and great food. We asked for drinks first before food, they did not rush us to get our food. Then we had our food which was delicious. Burger & fries and the famous chicken wings. We even shared a cheeky cheesecake. The music was really good (Coldplay, Country music, pop, etc) . Toilets were clean. Staff was really pleasant and always happy to help. Thank you Shane & the team for another great experience at HRC!
Staff and ambiance was pleasant. Manager Shane was awesome! Food was fast and good. I Will go back!!
We have been to Hard Rock cafes all around the world because usually you know what you are getting - really friendly staff, decent food and a great atmosphere. Not at this one! Rude waitresses, unfriendly hostess and greasy fajitas are the standard here. Avoid.
I've been to several Hard Rock Cafes. Picked this one just for fun and we knew the menu would have basic stuff we could eat. Made reservations online but when we got there, there was not a wait anyway. It seemed to be a smaller Hard Rock compared to others I've visited and is right in the heart of the French Quarter. Had a bbq bacon burger... it was fine - nothing special. Waitress was fine, food came out very quick. I probably wouldn't go out of my way to eat here again but for what we were looking for it was fine.
While our waitress was very nice, we had very slow, poor service. The family seated next to us received another table’s bill and we did as well. It took a while for the manager to come and help us get the correct bill. They did not comp any of our items for the trouble. The food is like the other Hard Rock locations.
When we got there, we were told there was a 40-50 minute wait, although there were plenty of tables free. So we decided to sit at the bar. Danielle was very good and served us quickly. We decided just to have our food at the bar as well, ending up spending most of the evening there and having a few more beers. During this time, most of the tables stayed empty. So I'm not sure why we were told there was such a wait. The service from Danielle more than made up for this, and in the future, I think we will just go straight to the bar as the service seems much better.
Service annoyingly slow. Staff didn’t give a toss. Wanted drink before ordering food. Waiter took drinks order then came back three times for food order before drinks had even arrived. Half way through starters a totally bored waiter just dumped our main food on the end of the table and walked off. I shouted after him and he turned round and completely ignored me. The two staff on the front desk were continuously on their phones and ignored the queue that formed in front of them, actually turning away people when the restaurant was less than a third full. I asked a passing waiter if they had lots of bookings later and he said about three. If I was the manager I would be very worried about the attitude of his staff. I have eaten in six different Hard Rock Cafes all over the world and I will not be recommending this one to anyone, in fact I will be putting it out to all my followers on Twitters and putting it on Facebook to stay away . Terrible place.
Had a burger and fries as well as alcohol. The food came out quick, was hot, and a large serving. I don't think I finished the whole burger. The drink was ok, probably could have been a little stronger. There was some kind of confusion on who our waiter/waitress was and the waitress didn't have an issue expressing it to us. The restaurant and bathroom were clean. We didn't have to wait for a table.
ELERIA is awesome. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a wonderful experience. We will definitely go back.
Awesome service and awesome drinks the food as always is great! A great place to come in have a drink and some food while you enjoy Bourbon Street
Took one hour to go from appetizers to the main course. Asked waiter to check on our order; never heard back. Food was subpar compared to other Hard Rock Cafes.
I am not a fan of many chain restaurants, nor am I a fan of visiting a chain restaurant while on vacation. When we walked in the door and received the warm welcome by the gleeful staff, I realized this was not your typical Hard Rock Cafe. Clearly a combination of that Louisiana charm and a highly effective GM makes this place what it is. The historic decor of this Hard Rock was quite impressive, they also had a photo spot, which was used quite heavily while we were there and a nice touch. A casual and comfortable dining room that is not excessively loud in a restaurant like this is somewhat hard to find. When dining in a chain restaurant I find the best options are burgers or pizzas, I go with what I know! The burgers and the pizza are both good here. This is a place where you can expect to see the GM, Shane Tucker, on the floor checking in with the patrons, he definitely navigated our dinner to a 5-star experience. He was a pleasure to talk with and stopped back numerous times to ensure everything was perfect, I was impressed! Cheers!
The service is slow and they are apparently understaffed. None of the staff is particularly friendly and are literally going through the motions. I enjoyed my meal. We asked for our drinks to go and the drink was all over the cover so I had to wipe and clean it before I even tried to lift the cup.
Have been to a good few Hard Rock's over the years, but this probably, the poorest of them all.. The drink was woeful, and the card machine was out of action on that night. Food was average. Maybe, it was just an off night, but at the prices charged, should be doing better..
I bought the HardRock Ticket unsure about what to do or expect. The staff was flexible to me anytime from 4pm to 9pm. I heard about the casino incident. So I enjoyed a drink, ate from the Eclectic Menu and listened to music. Live band every Wednesday and I visited Thursday. Friendly & Supportive employees & managers. Great experience
The food was decent, although the service was very disorganized. We ordered an appetizer, but an hour later the people at the table (who came after us) got our food. We waited a few more minutes and our appetizer finally came. When we got our main courses everyone was happy with their meals. Although my salad was way over dressed but the waiter took it off the bill when we mentioned it.
The server was nice and we were seated right way, but my salmon ramen salad didn’t have any ramen in it and the salmon was dry. I didn’t notice the missing ingredients until I was halfway through and didn’t say anything then because I was with work associates.
Short staffed, not very friendly. Slow service. Disappointing food choices and quality. Will not be going back.
Nice place. Great service and food. Clean restaurant and atmosphere. Their surf and turf burger was unique
Love this place. Food is pretty good though a tad pricey if you are on a tight budget. Drinks are to die for !! Best drinks on bourbon street. I always start here when i'm doing bourbon street.
Because of this mask thing the hostess would not seat me because she asked if I had a card to prove that I was vacated and told her no and even if I had a card that was against my rights and hippa for her to see. So I went to another place. And had no problem with anything I wore my mask till I sat down and all was good
This was a great deal with great service, and wonderful food. The brownie dessert is big enough for two people.
You can always rely with the quality of the food they serve. The restaurant is clean. The service was excellent.
Food is delicious!! Service was super friendly and attentive. Food did not disappoint. Ordered simple dishes and enjoyed every last bite. Whoever is in that kitchen is killing it! Simple grilled chicken sandwich was Devine. Perfectly seasoned and cooked. Great atmosphere and friendly staff.
Sometimes it's nice to go somewhere a little bit familiar when you are travelling. On our first night in New Orleans (after long haul travelling from Australia), it was late in the day when we arrived, so we just wanted to grab some dinner together before getting some sleep. Going to the Hard Rock was great, as we knew what to expect, and this was definitely a good one. Good quality food, nice service, and the drinks were good, too. Really great atmosphere - would definitely recommend.
Loved our meals, service was fantastic, only issue we had was volume of noise.....very hard to have intimate meal so we had to half yell. But I still enjoyed the whole experience and of course I got my glass to take home.
The location is great for people watching and the burgers are off the chain! Hard Rock does amazingly delicious lobster Mac and cheese!!!!! Super rich and creamy! But my fav is the Caesar Salad with Grilled Salmon! It is always prepared the same way... AWESOME! The service can be hit or miss sometimes. But the food keeps me coming back.
Strolling on Bourbon, my feet hurt...let's pop in here and grab a drink and use the restroom. We ordered a couple of drinks and some nachos. The drinks and the nachos were excellent! Our waitress rocked! We did not even know we had closed the Hard Rock down until we got ready to leave and they unlocked the door for us! The staff was super friendly and The Rock was a great spot to give the feet a break & still have a good time!
Service was amazing. Waitress was on top of it. From quick drink and food delivery to personable service. The food was exceptional as always.
We had a great time it’s not to far down but central located. Short wait time and the servers even danced to Beat It” with my 8 year old in front of the big screen.
My husband and I went here for lunch on our trip to New Orleans. I’m so glad we did! I got the signature burger. It was absolutely the best burger I’ve ever had! The service was great! It was clean, cool and wonderfully decorated!
We stopped in late on Thursday night and had outstanding service! The food was on point the drinks were strong and our server was incredible !!!
Our waitress was really nice..the other waiters not so much..She's the only reason why I gave it a 3 star..The food didn't fit its name because I'm from Texas country and the Cowboy Ribeye Sucked. It had no flavor whatsoever nor did they give me a proper steak knife to cut it! They gave me what looked like a pairing knife wth?!! I had to ask for some bbq sauce just to eat it. The broccoli was not steamed properly and came as a big stalk! It was very dry.Everyone else enjoyed their meals. I did not. $35 on a lousy steak...I felt ripped off. Probably the worst steak I have ever had. I guess back home you got a chef salad, steak, shrimp, 2 sides, rolls, dessert, and maybe see a movie all for that price..I get I'm in a different city but don't call it something it's not! Luckily this is on Bourbon street and had all the hustle and bustle we wanted to see. The souvenir shop had quite a collection just really pricey for tiny little trinkets! I really wished it had been a better experience.
like all the Hard rock cafe, when we were in new Orlean in Louisianna we took our dinner there, it was calm sithh only 4-5 client inside with us.. the waitriss was very gentle. but the service so much slow, we take the burger special of Louisianna, the local burger and we wait for 35 minutes before having it. i put complaing on the manager, and it was look like the waitress forgot our burger but not our beer !!!. so the manager give us a 50% rebate for the lunch in excuse.... after this litte mistake from there part every things was fine and the burger was grate and spicy.... like the old louisianna way...
We wanted to walk down Bourbon St. once we got into town. We were able to walk directly into restaurant and get a table for 5! We sat next to the windows that faced Bourbon St. and we people watched for the whole meal! It was noisy but you're in NOLA! We would go back, it was quality food with nice portion sizes and friendly staff.

The service was great but this was not nearly as unique as I had hoped it would be. If you been to any Hard Rock Cafe, you've been to this one. The food wasn't anything to right home about. I suppose if you enjoy other Hard Rock's, you'd like this one.
