Every tour takes 2-3 hours and really sucks up all the time since everything closes at 5pm. Not worth the money because I barely did any of the activities and I had three days
It was great! We were able to skip lines where tickets were needed. It was also very easy to book experience when it called for it. My husband and I ended up saving 150$ by using the passes with everything we did. We got the one day pass and was so worth it. We did more than what we would have if we had to pay for all of these out of pocket.
Most of the things that are listed, were free. To get your moneys worth you have to really look at the places that you need reservations for and then you have to figure out the times. It takes a lot of planning to get your moneys worth out of it. You also have to call different places to make reservations. I had to do a lot of juggling on our vacation to make it work and get my moneys worth
The Go City Pass is the only way to go! Used in New Orleans and highly recommend the Cajun Pride Swamp Tour, walking True Crime Tour, World War II Museum, City Bus Tour (stops at Cafe Du Monde for beignets and cemetery so you can walk around) and Creole Queen paddle boat down the Mississippi River. It pays for itself after only 2 or 3 attractions. Offers a wide variety of things to do. Typically can use shorter lines and pass the long lines. Easy to access your passes on their app. I have used this in New Orleans, New York City and San Francisco and have been very happy!
.40 per ride for seniors. Jazzy pass is based on full price of 1.50. So spending $15 for the 7 day was a major waste of money. We often had to walk 4-6 blocks. That said the app is good for navigation but I used Google Maps also so not necessary. The pate’ plate at the Roosevelt hotel was top of the line but it was confiscated when I went to Saenger. Houston’s had the best crab cake and slaw I ever had. Hotel Montelone was good but skip the chicken crepe. Lots of grissle. La Quinta on Camp was very nice. Would stay there again
Getting the passes to work was a major headache requiring several calls to Viator and go city. The bar code sent in the email didn’t work. We had reservation and booking numbers which also didn’t work. It took several calls to get our actual pass numbers. Several of the attractions wanted a QR code that we never received, but if they manually typed in our pass numbers, which were very difficult to actually get, they let us in. We were able to see everything we wanted to, but it wasn’t worth the headache when we could have paid for each attraction individually. I would not recommend getting this pass unless you enjoy the frustration of many difficult phone calls. It took a lot of patience to get the results we were looking for.
Dhanraj, or like I affectionally like to call him, Mr. Jamaica! He was the best! He was very kind, he was very helpful, and most of all he was very professional!
There are some experiences that are really worthy, don’t miss the cemetery tour, the cooking demonstration, the swamp boat tour, the bus tour, the Paddle Wheeler Boat tour and the WWII Museum, all 100% amazing.
For us there were several things on our list that we wanted to do over a five day visit. I love to research so I decided to start researching the cost of things that we wanted to do per person vs the things we wanted to do that were on the go City pass, actually there was a lot and after doing three of the things that we wanted to do.... it paid for itself. I would highly recommend going on The Go City pass app looking at what they offer if there are things on there that you are interested in doing, cross-reference them with their actual website or maybe Google or Groupon etc. It may definitely be worth it or if you're only there to do one or two things it may not. Just do your research! But as for us... this came and handy and saved us a lot of money. And in these days I'm all about saving as much as possible so I can use it to plan my next trip 😉 I highly recommend! Have fun!
Please do the True Crime tour with Drew!!! He is phenomenal and a treat to experience. His flair and master storytelling kept us enthralled the entire 2 hours. Also check out Wolfy with the Saints & Sinners tour, he has drama and so many interesting naughty tales about the Oldest Ladies profession!!
Go CITY provided a good value for visiting different venues. The only problem is that if you purchase a 3 day or more pass, it has to be used on consecutive days (unlike City Pass). If you have bad weather or get sick after your second day and skip a day, then the last day of your pass is no longer valid.
Love the tours and the experiences we did with Go City. I also love saving lots of money and we saved almost $200 with the Go City passes.
We were able to make the reservations that we wanted to. We enjoyed the Creole Queen Paddleboat Cruise, the City bus tour, Vue City and the WWII Museum. The Southern meal was disappointing. The alligator was very tough and chewy. It was not edible.
We saved so much on the city pass. Although our itinerary was a bit aggressive the first day we saved $150 on our tours combined. See itinerary below. Day 1 10am-1pm New Orleans Sightseeing City Tours Check in 9:45 am at 414 Canal Street 2-430pm Creole Queen Historic Cruise Check in 1:30 pm at 1 Poydras Street 6pm Southern Meal at MRB Restaurant 8:00pm Ghost & Vampire Combo by French Quarter Phantoms Check in 745p at The Voodoo Lounge, 718 North Rampart St Day 2 2-4pm New Orleans Cooking Demo Check in 145p @ 524 St. Louis Street Day 3 930 -1130a Ultimate Swamp Adventures New Orleans 12-230 pm World War II Museum 3-530p Mardi Gras World
It was great to be able to do so many tours and activities. We were on the go non-stop for 2-3 days, including a city bus tour, paddleboat, ghost walks, cooking school, etc.
We used our 3-day city passes in New Orleans while having our honeymoon in March 2025. At first, I was a little bit skeptical about these passes, but everything went so perfect. We used GoCity app where you have your digital passes, and you can plan your days and visits. App also explains all the details: if some additional booking is required, or what are the attractions addresses and working hours. Every time we entered an attraction, we just showed our passes. Super easy, super quick and convenient. We went to 5 attractions and had a meal at MRB. We saved around $90, which is really great deal. We will definitely use GoCity during our future trips to other cities.
Everyone loves saving money while traveling and still take in all the sights and sounds of the city, wherever that may be. Go City Pass is the most economical and easy way to do this.
price was fine, not too bad, but I was in New Orleans M-Thr, and some of the attactions were not open until friday. Also, selection of attractions is small and they are very similar, too many ghost tours... more of a wider selection is needed, less attractions where you have to do a reservation are needed.
Amazing way to see New Orleans. We stayed for 5 days and did the biggest pass and did a bunch of things each day. Make sure to check out the cooking school! But I’ve recommended this pass to all my friends traveling there.
Great Value and easy to use! Looking to see what other cities we can use the pass in. We were able to visit so many attractions!
Superb trip to New Orleans. Great value using Go city pass. Great many different and varied activities and experiences to be used with a Go City pass
The pass really helped us plan our days. We were able to fit in 2 or 3 attractions a day. We choose the 5 day pass for a week stay and saved about $200. Really enjoyed the cooking class. The food was excellent. Also took 4 of the walking tours. True Crime, Treme, Ghost one & Saints & Sinners. Loved all our guides. They were entertaining & full of information. I can't think of anything we wouldn't do again
What I most remembered that stuck with me was how informative Howie our bus driver and guide was shared personal knowledge that showed me how resilient people can be
We enjoyed most of the experiences, with the exception that one of our attractions ended up getting canceled an hour and a half prior to the time we had booked. Unfortunately we had already walked quite a ways to be near the area. Due to having to book most of the attractions, we were not able to reschedule and had to waste an entire morning. The cemetery tour was our favorite tour. It was very neat and informative! We also took the True Crimes, Saints and Sinners, and Ghosts and Vampires. Several of the walking tours told the same stories, but overall it was a fun experience. We also took the Ultimate Swamp Adventure tour. The scenery was beautiful and we were able to see a gator! Segnette Landing on the Bayou (right next door to where you board for the tour) is a must if you choose to do this swamp tour. The food was authentic and their crab dip, crab cakes, and crawfish pie were all phenomenal. One of our favorite restaurants in New Orleans!
GoCity's All-Inclusive pass was an excellent way to combine several attractions in the NOLA area at an attractive price! The 3-day pass allowed us to easily organize several attractions across mornings, afternoons, and evenings. A great value with excellent attractions!
They don't call New Orleans the "Big Easy!" for nothing. We have been going for the past 11 years and always find new things to discover, great food and plenty of r&r. Definitely recommend taking some of the tours.
This pass is an amazing deal, you have to book a lot of the experiences over the phone which was a bit of a pain, but other than that great ! The ghost and vampire tour we took, we had a horrible experience with the tour guide and because we used the pass they wouldn’t re-book us… the meal at MrB was only for 21 plus but that allowed us to get the food for the kids to go so that was really cool. I’d recommend this pass for any first time New Orleans folks definitely worth while and helped us create a great agenda !!!
The pass was great. We got to visit all the higher lighted places. The area. The price for the tickets were great as well. We saved a lot.
Good value for viewing multiple places or activities; WW II museum and the creole queen were both great activities and I enjoyed them both during my birthday trip
This was a great way to see a lot of things in New Orleans for one low price! Our group had an amazing time!! From the alligator tour to the Cooking classes, to the bus tour! There really was something for everyone!!
Terrible experience. We went to an attraction but was told our pass was expired. Where we had to call customer service who then put us on hold for 30min. The lady on the phone was super unhelpful and told us we lost our past and money. Unbelievable!!!!!
The pass was not what I expected it to be. You get the low end on all of the attractions you need to reserve. The bus tour was a joke. Sit on a tiny cramped bus for an hour driving around is not fun and not what I read that it was going to be. Swamp tour, you're not getting an airboat. You get a packed families with lots of kids pontoon-style boat. There was really no value in the pass at all.
The "included" attractions are worth the time. Very difficult to use the App. Thought it was a complete waste of money.
Well worth it if you have enough time to do several of the attractions. We didn’t have any trouble with any of the attractions. Except for the scavenger hunt. It was misleading. There is no guide that meets you.
This was a great deal if you plan it wisely. We did one day pass, and saw WWII museum (a bit rushed based on our schedule but excellent), Mardis Gras World (fun and interesting), Creole Queen (excellent history cruise), and dinner at MRB. Pass worked great and saved $.
Great Service everywhere we went , They just scanned our Go City passes and we entered it was great having prepaid tickets .
Talking with customer service was very challenging. I was told multiple times, by all the agents I spoke with, that I needed to allow 24-48 hours for the situation to resolve. This is not feasible when actively on vacation. I can not place my trip on hold for 2 days and then resume again when it is convenient for the Go City Pass to start working again. Also, even though I tried multiple times to convey that it makes no sense that a 2-day consecutive pass could be used on 14 December and then not again until 27 December, the customer service agents were not willing to work with me. When I asked to speak with a manager I was told that the manager would say the same thing. When I further asked to speak with a manager, I was told they would have to call me back in 2 to 4 hours. At the time of this email, it has been 16+ hours, and I have not received any sort of communication.
Pass stopped working on second day. Was only able to use the two three day passes one day. Called and waiting to hear about refund. First day another couple had the same problem ended up paying twice
A fun experience with different variety of activities. All of them were close and easy to get to. Making reservations was easy and just need to scan the QR code
Bought this last-minute. Was a little disappointed to find nearly all reservations had to be made by phone and not online but was able to get on a ghost tour, boat tour, and went to lunch. We had fun at each place and found a lot of value on it. If you can plan ahead a little more you could probably get a ton of value out of it.
Where as all the attractions that we attended was great, The Cooking School was the best experience of the pass.
We bought the 2 day pass and were pleased with the amount of tourist sites that it covered. It was enough to fill the two days but most of the places require advanced booking. There are some places that you cannot book more than one tour a day with them because of some restriction that isn't disclosed from Go City. Besides that, it was well worth the cost and made for a great visit to New Orleans!
HOT, HOT and HOTTER! Loved the French Quarter, so easy to walk. The upkeep of the sidewalks was something to be said, though. The trolley was nice, but took so much time. I believe the busses would have been quicker to explore outside the quarter. The food was fabulous, even if you craved something different after awhile. The Go City pass was nice, but it forced you into a set itinerary of the 26 options. To effectively use the pass, there was no time for rest, and some of the options were ehh. The businesses were all air conditioned, a must for 103 degrees. Go, but don't do it in the summer.
The tour in the garden district was amazing and the bus tour was amazing, we actually got to go in the cemetery it was beautiful. These 2 knew what they were talking about. We went on 2 other tours that were night time tours and they were very much the same.
GoCity had many options to choose from and the price was reasonable for what we did. Instructions were fairly clear but requires a bit of pre planning. I had difficulty obtaining the correct confirmation number that the venues needed and required many phone calls to clear up the issue.
Definitely buy this pass. My husband and I did about 2-3 activities a day which would have exceeded the cost of the pass. It more than pays for itself. The WWII museum was phenomenal. The oysters at MLB amazing. I could have done without the 5 -1 haunted tour. Not anything special. The other state museums are good for adults to learn about history of Louisiana. The bus tour was great! Our guide was so fun and informative. The Pharmacy museum was so interesting. Definitely a must do. The Cooking School was a really fun experience as well. Overall every activity we did exceeded our expectations.
Best advice is to organize your time and what you want to see BEFORE you leave on your trip! We did 3-4 tours or attractions a day. The New Orleans Go City gave us free meal, different types of tours (walking, boat, swamp tour, self-guided). I loved it! We wouldn't have tried as much without this pass.
This pass is a great value for people on a budget wanting to do a lot in New Orleans. I did the bus tour, paddle boat and five other tours. If you plan it out well it saves a ton of money. If you're doing one or two tours you need to compare prices to find out if it's worth it.
Seeing something different and learning setting new. I like the set designs and the guide was information
