As legend has it the Casket Girls arrived to the Ursuline Convent. Many of them were looking for grooms. But a few of them brought Vampires along for the ride. Those Vampires now live in New Orleans. We will not go in, on our tour we only visit the outside of each site.
During the Civil war this old hotel served as a hospital for the wounded confederate soldiers. Today it’s said that those wounded soldiers have been seen roaming the halls in search of medical assistance. We will not go in, on our tour we only visit the outside of each site.
The old Andrew Jackson hotel is said to be haunted by those who died of marlaria. I'll tell you who goes bump in the night. We will not go in, on our tour we only visit the outside of each site.

Reviews
It was perfect for our little group. It was easy to follow and had fun stories. It was the perfect length for my family to do at our own pace.
Just okay. Stories were superficial and not terribly engaging. We had done other of their walking tours (Natchez) and that was much better.
I Loved this history of the buildings while weaving the ghost and vampire stories into it. Was thrilling and educational.
This is a self-guided tour throughout the French Quarter. I read reviews where people said the app didn't work for them, but for $7 I was willing to take the risk. Not only did it work well, it had some pretty cool features like an EMF detector, which my daughter used the whole time! She had so much fun using it. She felt like she was ghost hunting. The map was helpful and the app allowed me to pause the audio tour to stop and take pictures. We got to go at our own pace. I really enjoyed it. There were a ton of ghost tours walking around and stopping at the same places as us. I felt safe and enjoyed learning a bit of New Orleans history. I would recommend this if you want to hear the ghost stories without paying $20-$30 a person.
Hard to navigate webpage I paid for the tour then spent an hour trying to figure it out to no prevail
Excellent tour! Very helpful directions, great narrator, and so much detail into the facts and tour.
We did a couple of different self-guided tours but we really enjoyed this ghost tour over any of the others!
The tour lacked interest, the narration was monotone and we were so bored we decided not to complete the tour.
I down loaded this tour to listen to later and the link dissapeared like a ghost. Never even got to listen to it. App is hard to use
This was a really fun thing to do, I feel like it would have been exactly the same experience if you were walking round with a tour guide or on a tour bus, they would show you the same things. This was good because it cost us hardly anything, and we got to walk around the french quarter learning about loads of interesting topics about ghosts in our own time. You can spend as long as you like in one area, just pause the audio. I would definitely recommend this to anyone whose interested in ghosts and the supernatural, it gives you that spooky side of New Orleans which my mum and I loved hearing about!
All of it was very good. It was very nice not to be in a huge group just me and my family and we went to our own pace
This was so much fun. At your own pace . We can stop and pause the tour , shop, grab a drink and continue on. The audio was entertaining. Best way to avoid crowded tours.
This was an amazing solo tour. My husband and I did the tour one more time in our vehicle just for fun on our last night. One of thee best tours we did in NOLA! Highly recommend!
this was a self guided tour with audio. i would love to do this again with a guide from old school new orleans that will give nitty gritty
This was a great way to see the city. It was nice to go at our own pace. The stories were very interesting and the voice over was charming
It was great to have the freedom to walk at your own pace and pass all the big groups that paid so much more! Sound effects and voice were perfect.
This self guided tour was great! Loved the narrator and the ambient sounds. The directions were extremely easy to follow. Would highly recommend.
This was a great tour! He even told us about a very cool secret vampire speakeasy. Such a fun night!
Most memorable part of my tour was that we got locked in and left at the cemetery!!! Horrible experience! Driver didn’t even come back to get us !!n our cell ph died and had no way to get Back ! Ended up having someone help us with a phone so we could call an Uber !
It was funt o walk around and listen to the stories as we made our away on our own time. Being able to set our own pace and choose the time that we wanted to stop and start made it even better.
Hearing all the history about various New Orleans places was eye opening. Gives you no room for misunderstanding. I would recommend this if ghosts and vampires is your interest.
Great experience with an amazing tour guide! Loved that it would give specific directions of how to get to the next stop! Even through a freak thunderstorm and pouring rain, it was a great adventure! Ponchos saved the day! My entire group had a blast! Loved that we could pause and go at our own pace while checking out the shops along the way! Highly recommend!
Don’t waste your time. You have to download an app that doesn’t work. It needs an “experience code” that they never send you. I tried every number on the email that they sent -confirmation number, booking reference number, tour operator option code, product code, etc. none of them worked. Now I’m trying to get my money back.
There was nobody there, we were supposed to pick up the tour materials at the Lalaurie Mansion, but it was closed. We got there at 5 pm, well before the closing time. I want a refund. Thanks.
Great way to understand what your looking at and to seek the shops and other ideas on what to do.....
We had a great time moving at our own pace and taking our time. Definitely recommend and would do it again.
Great tour, very informative the narrator and background noise kept it interesting. This is such a cool concept to have a self guided tour it was easy to follow and allowed us to take breaks and go at our own pace
The content was good and all the sites were surprisingly close to each other. I don’t think we ever walked for over 3-4 minutes between locations. Good app (you must download it). The app had a built in navigation system that made it easy to stay on course (an arrow would overlay on the map). I was shocked at how simple and effective it was. The narrator did a good job of making sure he verbally oriented you so you didn’t head the wrong way on a busy street.
Very easy and cost effective way to learn about the haunted history of the French Quarter....do at your own pace. Just wish the directions for the walking would have been a bit easier to decipher....maybe consider using a map program on one phone in conjunction with this app running on a different phone. New Orleans streets are a bit tricky and not all are marked with street signs.
Easy tour to start and finish. Very well done, pleas do a history of French Quarter self guided tour.
This tour was affordable and very interesting as well as intriguing. The narrator and instructions were precise and easy to understand. We did go during the day, as I wanted to avoid the crowds at night. It was a little spooky too, as we did see something or someone in the window of Lalaurie Mansion! We also did several Google searches for more information on the places that were featured in the tour and was amazed at their history. I highly recommend as this was worth every penny spent, and we did not have to be bothered with incoherent tour guides or disrespectful guests. It was a great experience all around!
Lots of fun would recommend . Enjoyed the walk around the French quarter saw more than the day before
This self guided tour was perfect for me because I was on a very tight schedule and there were stops along the tour where I knew I wanted to spend a little more time, like the VooDoo shop. I was able to begin my tour earlier than scheduled guided tours so I was able to finish by noon and still had time for shopping and snacks. Tour was fun and entertaining with nice sound effects to add to the stories. A live guide is nice so you can interact with them but this is close. It’s also very affordable to those on a tight moneybudget.
