Truly was “truly” amazing!!!!!! So knowledgeable, friendly and amazing! It was my first time in NOLA- and she was amazing!

They were extremely friendly and helpful. I made a last minute reservation by phone and it was no big deal. Then, due to road construction I went to the wrong meet up spot and the Ghost bus tour people (it was their meet up spot) pointed me in the right direction. After I got home I couldn't find my receipt for a very small amount of snacks I bought before the tour. I called them and they found it and emailed it to me within the hour! (Thank you Harlee!)
Daneeka was absolutely awesome! She was pleasant, friendly, and made the whole experience enjoyable from start to finish. She did an amazing job and was very professional. I truly appreciated her great attitude and attention to detail. I would definitely recommend Daneeka and would be happy to take another one of her tours!
The tour guide Brian, was awesome 💯
Guide was good. It was raining but we still enjoyed. Kinda think he made some stuff up
Ghost tour 4⭐️s Tour Guide - Leo 6⭐️s Customer service 0⭐️s Leo was a wonderful guide very informative and entertaining. We booked 3 tours with Cajun Envounters, my daughter and I were only going to be in town 24 hours so we booked the nighttime ghost tour, the city bus tour and a swamp tour. It was carefully planned out so we could do/see as much as we could. When checking into the ghost tour I even specifically verified the meeting times and locations of the next 2 tours on the following day (the place we met for the first tour was surrounded by road construction and even on foot the meeting place was hard to access/find). When we got back to the hotel around 11pm. I read an email stating out bus tour had gotten rescheduled and as a result we could not make the swamp tour in time. They only refunded for the bus tour since that was the only one they “changed” I ended up finding something much better for us. We did the hop on hop off bus tour, still informative and provided transportation to some of the “hot spots”. And best for someone on a tight schedule. I would highly recommend shopping o. Magazine St. Back to the ghost tour - I take tons of photos…Help me decide if you think I captured photos of 2 different ghosts!!!! The next day we went to the bookstore Leo recommended the The Haunted New Orleans by ####%# and may have captured a few in that super tiny space.
Great tour, guide was knowledgeable, made it fun, interspersing, personalized it for the group, set expectations at beginning. Loved the fast paced walking to, my speed!
A fun jaunt through the French Quarter with ghost stories grounded in the history and culture of this city. Trulie was amazing! She told the stories with honesty, sensitivity, and with a nod to pop culture and humor when she could. A great way to orient yourself to the sights while learning about what makes New Orleans the risqué, fabulous, diverse and hauntingly tragic, endlessly entertaining hub of culture. Worth every penny!
Henry did an amazing job, mixing history with ghost stories, and providing plenty of lagniappe (which he taught us about, too!).
I liked the history. Truly our guide told us stories about the sites to make the history interesting.
The ghost tour was a fun way to spend an evening in the Quarter. Our tour guide, AJ, was funny and informative. I appreciated that the tour was not gimmicky and dispelled cheesy ghost stories while sharing the real stories of New Orleans.
Truly was awesome!! She made the tour fun and offered some fun facts (I did not know about the Rolex watch face fact)! She asked if there were any the Originals fans (guilty!) and pointed out some spots relevant to the show, which was so cool! She also pointed out some local spots like MRB which was such a good bar. We loved her!!
Thank you Capt. Frank, It was a fantastic time, great family memories. Enjoyed the beauty of the tour. Have a great thanksgiving
This is NOT a ghost tour. Much more like a history of New Orleans French quarter tour. It wasn’t spooky/scary at all. We were disappointed.
We have a really fun time on the Ghost and Vampire tour of the French Quarter with our guide, Henry. He kept the tour moving so we could cover a lot of ground, and he was a natural storyteller who knew how to mix the historical with the fantastical.
Carl made the Ghost Tour special. He is a historian, super knowledgeable, and really did his work at the archives of New Orleans. If you walk with him you are in for a treat. Not only does he give you the facts and ghost stories that are told around town, but also does he answer every possible question. He brings a good mood and lots of energy to the table and caters to everybody's needs. The Ghost Tour was fantastic, and I know a lot more about the city now.
Cool tour! Many interesting stories and awesome area. I learned a lot and Look forward to doing my own research to find out even more. Our tour guide AJ was great! Thanks!
Boring tour, you better walk on the streets by yourself. Many people in the group, overcrowded we couldn’t listen to what she was talking about, It did not meet our expectations, I could have walked on the streets by myself and google every single thing, super boring do not spend you time and money in this
Truly was truly awesome as a guide! So much history interspersed with ghost stories. She did a great job teaching without being too gory or glorifying violence, etc
We saw a lot of neat things The guide was great! Lots of gators, it was an amazing experience , we will be back. I highly recommend it
This was a really cool walking tour that is really educational with a haunted twist. We really enjoyed it with Trulie our guide who definitely knew her stuff and one we would love to do again.
Amazing walking tour. So much entertaining information and great history. Louis, our guide, was exceptional. So much insight into the history and architecture of the quarter. We would go again
She knew her history but her stories were very drawn out! This tour did not meet our expectations. Disappointed group.
Chris G did an excellent job telling all the ghost stories! He would always give even more detail when asked!
I had an amazing time on this tour. Michael Bill was great and even walked me to a local eatery afterwards. This experience plus his knowledge made it a 10 out of 10 for me. I will definitely mark this as a staple memory for my trip
Craig, our guide was so knowledgeable and delivered each of the stories in a very fun and memorable way. The stories he told were certainly gruesome and unexplained but not really ghostlike. I don’t want to take anything away from the excellent tour but maybe a different title?
We had Craig and he was really good. Very knowledgeable and informative and had clearly done a lot of research into the subject. The way he explained everything was brilliant - would definitely recommend!!!
We really enjoyed learning the history of NOLA, the truth and origins of voodoo and stories of the abundant energy activity. Our guide Shannon was respectful of those whose stories she told with an intention of educating not sensationalizing. We learned more than expected and really enjoyed it.
The lady last night (sorry forgot her name) seemed like a respectful Wiccan and was great and entertaining at telling stories. It wasnt some cheesy « fake spooky » tour but educational and historical tour w the real facts which I appreciated. Really liked the bar/ old swordmaking pirate French place, what a beautiful old building!
My friends and I just did the Ghost Bus Tour and had Malika as a tour guide. She was a great guide and made the tour fun while providing interesting history about New Orleans. Would definitely recommend this tour to anyone visiting and looking for spooky vibes.
We toured with Malika and it was a great experience. We were able to see some cool haunted buildings around the French quarter, and Malika was super knowledgeable and funny!
We got Malika as our tour guide and she was just fantastic. Extremely knowledgeable but concise and did an excellent job teaching us about all of the history and stories of particular places in the French Quarter. Highly recommended.
I believe our tour guide’s name was T. C. Elliott. We enjoyed his stories and personality. We had never been on one of these walking tours before but we had a good time. The stories were generally things we had not heard before and it was neat to see the original locations for the events. Our guide also pointed out locations related to horror and vampire shows and movies as we walked.
Melissa was a great tour guide. The tour was very informative and interesting! No bathroom break and it’s about 2 hour walking but only maybe 1 Mile Max walking
Ghost tour was fun! Very interesting to hear the history and experiences people have had in the past.
We had a great tour with Justin! Due to the city going back to phase one, tours were scaled down and it was just two of us. Justin did a great job of personalizing the experience and even took an extra 10 minutes or so after the tour ended to give us recommendations and tell a few more stories. Will definitely be back after the pandemic is over.
Very interesting with lots of history and stories presented by Squid who delivered her info with delightful theatrical pizzazz!
Our guide for this fun tour was Justin Courtney and her truly made the evening fun! Iuiand additional libations) and Justin kept up entertained and informed the entire time! His fun personality was a great counterpoint to his often grisly tales about some of the more infamous sights and historical figures in the city and I would highly recommend this tour as long as you can get Justin as a guide.
We did the Ghost, Creole Queen, and City Bus Tour. We had Tom C. help us pick and book these tours. He pretty much was our best friend throughout this trip (we here for a week)! Definitely helped us understand what to consider since this was our first time, what was worth our money and time, what to actually see, and where and what to eat!! He was definitely the guy for us and because of him we actually know the French Quarter like the back of our hand. As for the tours, we loved every single one of them! He also hooked us up with tickets to go see the WW2 Museum which was WORTH IT. Every tour we took gave us a better understanding of New Orleans and its rich history. WW2 was probably the best museum me or my wife’s ever been to. Very organized and well put together. Lots of information and interactive areas within the place to see. City Bus Tour was amazing thanks to Butch. We actually learned more about how to get around the French Quarter from this tour (thanks to Tom for the suggestion)! Ghost Tour was probably my wife’s favorite. Great storyteller who was pretty upfront about everything minus the theatrics, which we liked. Explained a lot of how NOLA came to be and seen a couple of cool things like Madame Lalaurie’s home and where Klaus from The Originals lived. The Creole Queen was very relaxing, as well. That’s where we learned more about Hurricane Katrina. Overall, we LOVED NOLA and it actually is our favorite city now. Pretty sure if we did more h to an 1 tour, that should tell you how we felt about them and this company lol. We definitely didn’t regret choosing this as our honeymoon. Coming back and hopefully we can do the plantation and alligator tours! Make sure to grab some beignets afterwards from Cafe Du Monde! Thanks Tom C for helping us!!
Heard a lot of interesting stories about New Orleans we haven't heard. Highly recommend it. Felt safe and had a lot of fun!
What you're told is this tour is top rated by the person working the desk - well, last time I fall for that one. The tour did start on time. It was overcrowded and hard to navigate a group as large as the one the tour booked. As a result of the overcrowding, you couldn't hear over over the 4 other tour companies giving their tours. Each site was overcrowded with tour guides getting louder and louder to compete for air time. The stories were boring and not at all creepy or what you would expect on a ghost tour. The tour was so bad I wanted to ditch, but my travel partner wanted to stick it out. Go with another group. I'd never had a bad tour in NOLA until I went with this group.
We booked the tour through our Hotel and met the group in the French Quarter. We had a really good time hearing about the creepy stories and history about New Orleans. Our guide, Jennifer, was an absolute doll and really put her story-telling skills to use. She took us around the tour and gave parents a warning when details were too gruesome for the kiddos in the group. Would highly recommend this tour - ask to be in Jennifer's group! She was informative, professional, and had great story-telling skills (we appreciated the touch of humor!). One of the kids in our group was able to snap a really interesting picture - it really did look like there was a woman in a period dress lurking in the shadows!
Honestly I could give 0 stars if I could. The tour guide (Kristen) started our 2 hour long by laying out some rules in a not so friendly way and it kind of intimidated the entire group. I have been to another ghost walking tour about 3 years back and it creeped the hell out of me - this one not even the slightest bit. She certainly had absolutely no clue about what she was supposed to do. She hardly told us four stories in two hours and did not give proper details about even one. She kept on harping over details that were unnecessary and not related to the hauntings and did not even once mention why and what exactly the hauntings comprised of. Her stories were all out of place and order - as if she couldn’t remember what to say. There were several instances when she would just keep talking and making faces at the people walking and driving on the streets. Honestly I knew more about the history of NOLA compared to her! I honestly got more information listening to other tour guides on the road. What she told us couldn’t have taken more than 15 mins and she dragged it for two hours! There were so many people from the same tour group that later met us on our way back home and were telling us how disappointed they were with that particular tour. So so so disappointed, I wish I would’ve gone to the one I went last time. This one’s a total waste of money and if you are in Kristen’s group, do yourself a favor and just read up some ghost stories in your hotel room with the lights off!
We did walking ghost tour. Our guide was Collen and he was perfect for this type of tour. He had a tremendous amount of knowledge and he also added the right amount of theatrics. Would recommend him for any tour.

Really interesting stories and a great way to get oriented to the city. We found ourselves in these locations numerous times after that.

A good experience and a discovery of the marshes
