This was an awesome tour…great food, great guide and nice walk around the French Quarter. Our guide Katherine was friendly, engaging and knowledgeable. She even followed up with additional recommendations for the remainder of our stay in NOLA.
The food was amazing, but it was more than a tasting. Katherine was super knowledgeable and explained us some of the history about the food and some of the building's we walked by.
It was such an interesting tour! Andre was an amazing guide, and he really made it a special experience. We got to experience some of New Orleans most famous dishes in just 2 hours, and we also learned so much information about New Orleans's history from Andre. It was an incredible experience and I would definitely recommend it.

I’m no novice when it comes to food tours and this was, by far, my favorite. Andre was so knowledgeable and entertaining. It was a great time that even my socially awkward husband enjoyed. It was definitely a fantastic value for the price and just the right length of tour. The group size was ideal so everyone was part of the experience.

In general, it was a nice and balanced tour. The food quantities were just right. The history around the food was nice and just the right amount of detail. And the walking was also just the right amount.

Catherine has obviously spent time researching New Orleans and the source of where the popular food came from. Very interesting and we all learned a lot. Despite touring on a very rainy day, Catherine managed to lead us around town with no problems.

Had a great experience with Andre on the food tour! He was very knowledgeable about the New Orleans history and all of the food that we tried! I didn’t know what to expect at first, but I was pleasantly surprised. We walked around Jackson square in the French quarter where we tried several different New Orleans dishes. Andre was very willing to accommodate if we didn’t like the options or were allergic. The length of the tour was about 2.5 hours which I thought was perfect and Andre never ran out of history. Overall I would definitely recommend to someone who hasn’t tried the New Orleans classics or isn’t familiar with the history there!

A very good food tour through the French Quarter! I was fortunate enough to end up with a private tour (by happenstance, not choice) and my guide was very knowledgeable about both the history of the district and the food. Food stops may change but the jambalaya, gumbo, muffuletta, pralines, and callas were more than enough for me to eat (and the muffuletta is HUGE, so be prepared to take some home).
Andre was amazing - very knowledgeable and happy to answer any odd question that would come to mind. 10/10 would recommend. He also sent us a link to all of the recipes at the end of the tour.
Andrew was very informative and fun to chat with. He does great tours. Sorry my daughter who is 13 was not as entertained but best believe she learned something. Hope to do another tour soon!
The tour guide Kristi, was excellent. She made sure that every guest could hear her fabulous stories. She made great decisions based on the guests’ personal tastes and everyone felt fully included in the activities. We would opt to do the same tour with her on our next visit. The food was fabulous and the quantity was ideal.

Kristi was an excellent guide. True to her word, she gave us a lot of local color--even explaining how to cook gumbo! Food was pretty good--beignets excellent, gumbo very good, jambalaya good, candy good! Po'boy was a colorful stop though the sandwich was only ok.

This tour included an amazing amount of food in great variety. Our tour guide was an older gentleman who really knew his history! Wow, ask this guy anything! He educated us on the different cultures that make up New Orleans, where to find the best Gumbo, and the history of the city. It was not a lot of walking with places to sit down and talk while tasting delicious New Orleans food. We started with beignets foster, a wonderful twist on the traditional beignet Then onto gumbo and Jambalaya at the Gumbo Shop. Muffaletta and red beans and rice, at the French Market Cafe and Madeline's pralines. I would do this tour again in a heartbeat. Well worth th4e money and time.

A fun tour with lots of great classic New Orleans dishes. Our guide Andre was very knowledgeable about the history of the French Quarter and how the food evolved over the years. There is quite a bit of walking, so make sure to wear comfy shoes.
