Fly A Plane In New Orleans: No Experience Or License Required

My mom bought this experience for me as a surprise. I have always wanted to fly a plane. This was beyond our expectations. My flight instructor Jacob is very knowledgeable and passionate about flying. He was a lot of fun and made sure we had a great experience. The young lady at the front was super sweet and made the check in process quick and easy. We would definitely do this again. Thank you Jacob!!!

My husband always wanted to feel what it’s like to fly an airplane. He loves flying. The people who work here are the nicest people and very professional. His pilot Ashley was great. She took her time explaining everything and made sure all our questions were answered. Only my husband flew, I stayed back and took pictures of the takeoff off and landing and many others. She let him do a lot of flying and my husband couldn’t have been any happier. Now he wants to go again. The lady that worked at the front desk also could not have been anymore kind. She kept me informed about where the plane was and when it would be landing so I could be out there to get all the great pictures. Highly recommended this to anyone that’s thinking about it.

If you want to take control, here is your chance! Fly around and listen to air traffic control, keep you away from other air traffic! Watch out!!

After I booked a spur of the moment trip to New Orleans I was looking for something different to do. Being a lapsed student pilot this caught my eye. I hadn’t flown in 13 years and everything was made easy peasy from booking and answering basic questions ( type of plane and type of tour / flying ) everyone was super friendly and helpful. My instructor was very helpful and awesome. He handled all the radio calls and pointed out some nice sites and helped out when I needed some help landing. I was able to add more time to my log book which made my day. I recommend them if you want something fun unique and different. Next time I am down there I will definitely fly again.

Ryan was my instructor and was fantastic! We went over the instruments and then went flying. Not only was the view spectacular, I was able to take some photos. We started with the basics, and then performed a series of maneuvers that was awesome. I highly recommend this for anyone interested in flying or wished they could have.

Brian was a great instructor - A lot of fun, had a blast. I would recommend this activity to anyone who enjoys flying.

This was my husband's Christmas present. I paid the extra to be an observer to video and take pics of him flying. The 3 seater broke down so he had to tale a 2 seater which meant i could not go and experience this with him. They credited me but said they would give him more fly time for the hassle but the did not. Disappointed

It was really awesome. You actually get to fly the plane! I felt very comfortable and in good hands.

Dillon was the instructor pilot. I had previous flying experience but my daughter had none. After a short ground instruction, we were off to fly. Dillon gave us many options. We went up for 2 hours with a break in between. Ground staff was very polite and courteous. Dillon was very knowledgeable and patient with my daughter. I was able to ride along with my daughters flight. My daughter got to try it all from taxi to take off to landing. Tour over city was incredible. The flight has inspired my daughter to pursue her license. Thank you so much!

Very professional legit company. I felt safe the whole time. They were hospitable and knowledgeable! If I'm ever back in NOLA, I will return.

Brian was my instructor and with our briefing before the flight and explanation of what we were going to do during the flight, there were no surprises while we were flying.

Dylan, my flight instructor, was friendly, awesome, and patiently answered all of my questions. He made flying seem accessible. I'm grateful for the smooth process. I didn't really have to wait. And in case anyone is wondering, (as of July 2022) I was not required to wear a mask or show proof of covid vaccination. 😁

Our pilot Lauren was amazing! This was a birthday gift for my husband and he really did fly the plane. She explained what to do but took care of taxing so we got the most air time. My husband actually did the take off and landing though with her guidance. He also did a steep turn which was cool. All in all a great experience. Would definitely do it again! It was also Lauren’s last flight bc she was moving on to a commercial airline. Good luck Lauren!

The fact that I was actually at the controls of an airplane was amazing. The instructor handled the controls, but controlling the thrust during take off and guiding the flight was under my control (obviously with his supervision) The view from the cockpit was an indescribable experience. Everett is an awesome instructor.

I absolutely loved this experience! I had never done anything like this before and really wasn’t sure what to expect. I called first and the woman I spoke to very patiently answered all my questions. Then when I got there, the pilot who went with me explained everything very thoroughly and I actually got to fly way more than I thought I would. I felt completely safe and secure. Plus, the view was absolutely INCREDIBLE. I highly recommend this!

The whole experience was super professional. You really do get the fly the plane, not "fly" it like you might expect, but it is still very safe. My pilot was as friendly as can be and it was a joy the whole way through.

I was truly terrified as the time got closer to going up in the air. Jonathan, my pilot, did a great job of telling me what to do and the flight really gives you a taste of what it’s like to be a pilot. You really do fly the plane! And it’s fun!

Awesome school, Staff is very friendly. The instructors know their job pretty good, you can ask and they will take the time to explain. I like the training package when I subscribed for three lessons, aircrafts are in good conditions and felt safe all the time.

This tour provides good information and details on the basic of flying. You really get a feel for being in the plane and seeing the perspective of the pilot. It has enhanced my interest in learning how to fly.

One would say the words to describe this experience are repetitive, such as amazing and thrilling, however the feeling is actually beyond all of those! This was definitely the best present I've got, and it went beyond my expectations. Collin was awesome, he was both encouraging and supportive and I like how much he pushed me to do things I've never imagined I could be doing! If anyone is having second thoughts whether to do it or not, stop! It's experience well worth and long lasting! OMG, I flew a plane!!! :))))

Trent was a great instructor. In all honesty, he made the experience. I surprised by sister with this experience for her 30th birthday, and she was scared, but Trent made the experience so much fun. She had a great time and so did I. Definitely recommend this experience, it's great being up in the air with great company. We'd give him 12 out of 10.

Wonderful hands on experience! Brooke and Trent made my time there well worth it from the get-go. They were super approachable and informative, there's nothing like controlling the plane. Highly recommendable!

Trent gave me and my boyfriend lots of room to be able to fly on our own but was also super helpful to keep us safe and get us to and from the airport in a fun and safe manner. Flying the airplane felt like a really rare opportunity that was totally awesome

My husband can scratch off ANOTHER item from his Bucket List. Golf at Pebble Beach and now, flight training at New Orleans Aerial Tours and Flight Training LLC at the Lakefront Airport. AMAZING...Brooke Rabon, is wonderful and her professionalism and kindness will not be forgotten. To top that, my hubby had an excellent flight instructor, E. Laurent....AWESOME... This training was a father's day gift and my hubby had a BALL....he had the Discovery Flight pkg., flew a Pioneer C172/PA28. I would recommend this company. There are several packages to choose from and they all are reasonable. NEVER SAY NEVER...JUST GIVE IT A TRY.

Australian private pilot, visiting New Orleans wanted to rent a plane, and see the views flying myself, with the help of an instructor to handle communications. The staff were friendly, helpful, and accommodating. Cannot recommend highly enough! A wonderful experience.
