Crawl New Orleans: Haunted Pub Crawl And Ghost Tour

My sister and I had such a fantastic tour for our pub crawl with Tiny. Great views & history. The locals were a ball to hang with!

Tiny (the guide) was great. Started off at an affordable bar, the group had good energy, not too much walking maybe 7 blocks all together. The bars weren’t tourist traps (maybe like 1) cool history, good recommendations, and a lot of booze.

This was one of the best tours I’ve ever been on, bar none. Tiny was a great storyteller who told detailed, riveting stories that packed enough emotional punch to pull on your heartstrings while at the same time being sprinkled with historical details to illuminate large pieces of the city’s history. It was a history lesson made to taste like dessert instead of vegetables. The experience struck a great balance between being laid back enough to enjoy each bar and focusing on the stories and the city, and I’d recommend it for anyone looking for a drinking tour that values the touring, not just the drinking. If I come back to New Orleans, I’ll absolutely be trying to make it on one of Tiny’s tours again.

This tour was fun, our guide Tiny, gave us great stories about the darker history of the city and recommended drinks at each location.

We were confused after our tour with Tiny as we did not get to see or hear the stories of what was mentioned would be included in the tour description online. We did not see or hear about the casket girls at the Old Usuline Convent Museum. We did not go to the Lalaurie Mansion and hear of the horrors of Delphine Lalaurie. We did not get to go to Lafitte’s Blacksmith Shop Bar. We did not hear about any of the ghosts on Royal or Decatur Street and no mention was made of the Axe Man. We were really looking forward to hearing these tales and the high rating along with the mention that these would be included were the reason we booked this tour. We have taken Viator tours in the past and they and the guides were wonderful and the tours matched their description. In addition, we have taken other ghost tours that were led by captivating story tellers. I’m not sure if Tiny just didn’t feel like walking us to the spots mentioned in the tour or he just felt like creating his own version, but sadly, it was very disappointing and underwhelming. I would NOT recommend this tour if Tiny is the guide unless you like surprises and enjoy rambling stories about Tiny’s take on New Orleans.

Tiny was the best! He shared lots of haunted history, while sharing insights about local life. He has a true love for his city and its people. I appreciate his love for NOLA. It was a blast.

A very fun little tour with a funny guide. The drinks were good and even despite it raining when we went, my partner and I enjoyed it greatly!

Tiny.... Was such a great adults only host. He is very passionate about the stories and promises to not walk you to death. The drinks are awesome thru the tour and you can easily pace yourself. The people that were walking with us were the most amazing also. pro tip: take some cash to buy some goodies from or for your guide.

He was very open to answering questions, gave us great recommendations, and just a funny and great guy overall! We loved how authentic and factual his stories were! Definitely should do this tour!

Our work group did the Haunted Pub Crawl last Tuesday in New Orleans and it was an absolute highlight of the trip. Our tour guide, Tiny, was fantastic—knowledgeable, funny, and clearly passionate about the city’s history. I especially appreciated his research-based approach to the hauntings he shared; it made the stories feel authentic and fascinating rather than just theatrical. The bars along the route were great and had excellent specialty drinks, which made the experience even more fun as we explored the city. Our entire group had a wonderful time and we were laughing and learning all night. One tip: bring cash, because one of the bars on the tour only accepts cash. Highly recommend this tour if you’re visiting New Orleans—I will definitely do it again the next time I’m in town!

Tiny was our guide and he was very knowledgeable and entertaining. We learned a lot about the history of the French Quarter and New Orleans in general. We had a great time and made a new friend from our tour group. Definitely recommend.

Tanya was a.great guide. She had lots of knowledge about the area and was very passionate with her stories. She knew and interacted with my locals along the way and made sure everyone in the group felt safe.

Several bar crawls to choose from, picked this one because it said it came with a shot. However, it did not. The crawl itself was fine but a shot was not included.

Please stay away!! The guide never showed up…tour never happened…they don’t answer phone calls, or return messages…it’s all automated texts…they did refund our money and actually offered us a complimentary tour but they would not respond to texts or calls so we were not able to take advantage of it…many emails and calls and no one responds…bad company, bad customer service

Jason was the best had the best experience ever best Bar Crawl on Bourbon Street hands-down can’t wait to go back. He took us in and out of various bars showed us around Bourbon Street kept us safe. We had an absolute blast. I can’t wait to go back to NOLA to do it again.

Very informative and knowledgeable about the history of French quarters. Nika had high energy and she is very passionate about who she knows.

I’m leaving a 5 star review because it was a great tour and the guide was excellent. However, we called Viator asking for a bus or carriage tour. The agent we spoke to told my wife this was a bus tour. When my wife handed me the phone to handle the payment, I asked again and the agent confirmed it was a bus tour. When we arrived, we found out it was a walking tour. Like I said…great tour but Viator needs to make sure their agents are not misleading customers.

Have no problem that it was canceled due to rain other than majority of rain storm had already gone by before we were supposed to go.. makes me wonder why they canceled.. but at least we didn't show up only to find it wasn't going to happen... They did call and message to ensure we knew ahead of time

Randy is extremely knowledgeable, super entertaining, and funny! He is a real historian with a big heart for his city. This is why I fell in love with the Haunted Tour! Randy shared facts of all the scary happenings in NOLA with such enthusiasm and passion. He is top notch! Ask for Randy, you won’t be disappointed of your bar crawl experience in NOLA, he will have you spooked, laughing, and curious for more!

if you want a ghost tour…. DO NOT DO THIS. We went for a bachelorette and there was ONE ghost story. The rest you just stand around and hear about the history of New Orleans. Do not recommend!!! I wasted over 2 hours I wish we could get our money back.
