Love the tour! Don't spend your time on a walking tour in the heat when you can be riding in an air conditioned van! Covered a lot of the city. Very informative & we learned a lot. Quay knew his facts & what a great person. He even treated us to beignets! We had a wonderful time with our small group.

Our guide is very knowledgeable about both New Orleans and jazz. It was a very fun and informative tour! Plenty of time was given to pictures and exploration of the sights that we stopped at.
Quay was very knowledgeable, personable, polite and humorous throughout our tour. We learned so much about this city and its history. The stop at City Park was especially memorable as he took excellent photos of our group and sent them to our phones.. This tour was a great way to begin our week in New Orleans! Thank you, Quay!!
Quay was super fun, friendly and knowledgeable. Had a great time and learned a ton!
This is an excellent tour! The tour guide , Quay, is fantastic! We saw everything possible! Quay is very knowledgeable and helpful. He took pictures of our group which was amazing! Appreciated the jazz discussion and recommendation of dinner spots and Snug Harbor for evening of jazz music. The city park is great and best Beignets at Cafe Du Monde. Enjoyed each aspect of the tour. Local history was interesting and seeing the local homes and discussions of celebrities living in the area. The history of the city and people of New Orleans was so interesting. I learned a great deal. It would be helpful to take a notebook to record the highlights.
Quay was amazing and tailored the experience to our likes. We even went over on time and he made sure we still got a good experience.
The tour was amazing! Very informative and took us to a wide variety of locations. The tour guide was very kind and charismatic and made the whole experience well worth the money! Would definitely do it again it was a great time for the whole family with things to interest people of every age!
Today, my family and I had the absolute pleasure of going on a citywide tour with Quay, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience! From the very beginning, Quay was incredibly kind, welcoming, and brought such amazing energy. I’ve been on a New Orleans city tour before, but somehow Quay introduced us to historical places, stories, and moments that I had never even heard of or knew happened here. His knowledge of New Orleans and its history was truly impressive, and you could tell that he genuinely loves what he does. One of my favorite parts of the tour was seeing how many people knew Quay along the way. Everywhere we went, people greeted him by name with huge smiles, and it honestly made us feel like we were locals rather than tourists. He made the entire experience feel personal, authentic, and full of that New Orleans spirit. He also took some AMAZING pictures of my family and me, which was such a thoughtful bonus and gave us memories we’ll be able to keep from the trip. We enjoyed Quay’s energy, personality, and passion so much that my family and I will be back tomorrow night to see him play some Jazz on Frenchmen Street to conclude our trip! If you EVER have the opportunity to take a tour with Quay, DO IT! I highly recommend, I can promise you will not be disappointed. He made our experience so memorable, and we’re already looking forward to coming back!
Quay was an amazing tour guide! I learned a lot about the culture and history of New Orleans. My favorite parts were the Musician’s Village, beautiful architectures and murals, and music bars like The Spotted Cat. We also stopped by the city park area and ate beignets at Cafe Du Monde, which were delicious! Lastly, we got a glimpse of the French Quarter through Bourbon St. which looked so fun. I definitely recommend him and this tour!
Great tour! Quay is very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend.
Guide was awesome. Great tour.
Wonderful experience. Quay was knowledgeable, thoughtful, and entertaining. We saw and learned more about the city than we ever would have on our own, even with an abundance of recommendations from friends.
This was an amazing experience! quay is amazing and do knowledgeable. Highly recommend this tour!
Very knowledgeable " history nerd" as Quay described himself. A variety of sites throughout the tour. Highly recommend.
Quay was great! Accommodating and full of information. Went with teens and my parents and thoroughly enjoyed our experience!
Quay was an excellent tour guide! We learned a lot today. He was a safe driver, very professional and made the tour entertaining at the same time. We know so much more about this beautiful city! Highly recommend Quay and his citywide tour!
LaQuay, our guide (a self-described history nerd), was wonderful. So knowledgeable, personable, fun, considerate, and a great driver (super safe). He was a great storyteller, made smooth transitions between sites, and gave insight into historical and current NOLA. And he’s is a super talented musician!
Had a great time and learned so much of the fascinating history in NOLA.
our tour was phenomenal! :) quay was incredibly knowledgeable, kind, humorous. he kindly offered to take multiple pictures of us and gifted me $10 for my birthday. i am very grateful to him and will reminisce positively on our experience! :D
We enjoyed four hours with Quay as he guided us through all the major areas of New Orleans. Quay was flexible with our meeting time and location and he arrived on time as scheduled. While most of our tour was from inside his air conditioned vehicle, we'd periodically get out to wander around specific areas. Quay was always ready with his camera to take and share photos of us at different sites. He has a tremendous wealth of knowledge of all things pertaining to NOLA and he was always ready to answer our questions. I highly recommend taking a tour with Quay.
We had a lovely time with Quay! Thanks for spending the day with us. He showed us all the sights and had great insights into how to spend our time.
Quay was exceptional! Showed us all around the city with interesting stories about each section, gave us a sense of how this beautiful city came to be.
Amazing! Quay did an amazing job and was such a great tour guide. Lots of neat history, great photo stops and a great time!
Quay definitely deserves 5 stars! He picked us up right in front of our hotel and gave us a wonderful overview of New Orleans highlights and history. This was our first time in New Orleans and it was the perfect way to see and get lots of information in a short amount of time. He is very knowledgeable as well as being fun to hang out with. As an added bonus, he took lots of photos of us at several of the special places and then sent them to us so that we now have pictures to bring back the fabulous memories. You won’t be disappointed if you book with Quay!
Book this tour! Quay is charismatic and super knowledgeable about the area. You're going to get some great photo opportunities and learn things you may not on a typical tour. The vibe was also amazing and the group was so fun to be with, we were all fast friends. Thank you Quay, we really enjoyed hanging out with you.
Absolutely amazing tour! Quay is an amazing guy who really knows what he is talking about. He knew someone everywhere we went and could point out the history of stuff everywhere as well. I also felt the tour included a nice variety of topics and areas. We got to stop and walk into some areas on some parts but also drive around and get areas pointed out as well. He was extremely friendly and personable. I would definitely recommend to anyone I know visiting the city. Quay also takes photos of your group in multiple spots with either your phone or his nice cameras. Plus you get some delicious beignets included!
Quay was absolutely amazing. You can see the love that he has for this city and the community in it. The tour was thoughtfully planned out. The duration was perfect to see the city with the knowledge of someone so passionate about it.
Quay jams so much history into the time together so never a dull moment. Quay was asking us questions to kinda fine-tune the tour. He was invested in us having a good time. Must do tour of NOLA.
Had a great time, Quay was super knowledgeable and friendly!
Quay was awesome! The tour was fun and Quay was energetic and knowledgeable. The tour was a great mix of history and culture. We did the tour on day 1 of our 4 day trip and it gave us a great overview of the city and an opportunity to figure out where we might want to spend some more time. Quay gave us great tips and tricks as well as recommendations for other tours (swamp, ghost, etc) restaurants and places to take in some music. I’d recommend Quays tour to anyone coming to New Orleans!
Very knowledgeable and personable guide, took us on an extensive tour of the city and was very willing to help give advice on things to do throughout our trip.
He was great funny, and awesome.
Quay is truly an excellent tour guide and his City Tour was the highlight of our trip! We got to see and experience so much of what New Orleans has to offer and his commentary, humor and enthusiasm was so delightful. I also appreciated how he took lots of pictures for us which we were really grateful for. Can’t recommend Quay and his tours enough!!
Quay is the perfect mix of historian, storyteller, and stand-up comic. He somehow makes centuries of New Orleans history feel like the juiciest dinner party conversation — equal parts fascinating, flavorful, and unforgettable. His knowledge runs deep, but he delivers it with such warmth and wit that you never feel like you’re in a lecture. You feel like you’re being let in on secrets. He was kind, engaging, and effortlessly entertaining — the kind of guide who remembers your name, answers every question thoughtfully, and still keeps the group laughing. We walked away feeling like we truly understood New Orleans, not just visited it. If every city had a Quay, travel would be a competitive sport. Book the tour. Bring your curiosity. Let Quay do the rest.
Absolutely amazing tour guide very humorous and charming. He’s got his history down!! He’s also has very good A/C if your getting a tour on a warmer day but 10/10 would do this again with friends and family who haven’t visited New Orleans yet thank you, thank you, thank you !!!!!
Quay was knowledgeable and friendly!! Had a great tour!! Awesome job Quay!
We thoroughly enjoyed this tour with an emphasis on jazz and creole, especially for our first time visiting Nola! Quay won't disappoint, what with his historical and musical knowledge as well as geographical references, you will learn much and savor the beignets!!! Laissez les bon temps rouler!!!!!
My family and I had a great afternoon with Quay, learning about the history, culture and stories of people and places across the city. Quay brought tons of energy and knowledge, and we were all engaged the whole time (including a ten year old!). Quay’s background in music really enriched the info he shared. The cost was just right, and as there were five of us, we ended up with a private tour. The lovely family photos were an extra perk! Thanks for the tour, would absolutely recommend.
Just went on the tour with Quay. We absolutely loved it and would reccomend it to anyone for a first day sampler of all of New Orleans. It was just our family, so he picked us up from where we were staying. The tour was full of fun historical facts and unique places other tours don’t take you. Thanks Quay!!!
Quay was a fun, refreshing, and knowledgeable capstone to our eight days in New Orleans. He took care of our little group. Highly recommended.
If you come to New Orleans, please take this amazing tour with Quay! We loved every minute of it. Highly recommend you book this tour!
Quay was both knowledgeable, energetic, and fun! He talked about many parts of NOLA history that we had never heard before and expanded on the history that we already knew about. Highly recommended!
This was a great tour, and our guide was fabulous! I loved that we got a great overview of New Orleans. We went to several neighborhoods, and Quay shared the fascinating history and interesting little-known facts about each place. It was also a great price. I highly recommend it!
Great experience! Great tour, very knowledgeable about everything. Very hospitable and personable. Gave us a lot of interesting facts within the locations as well as famous people that have been there.
Quay is knowledgeable, personable, entertaining, and all-around fabulous. Definitely should do. I love the detail with important people past and present. Such a wealth of knowledge, we’re grateful to have it shared with us.
I was initially skeptical of the description, but it was everything advertised…and more. Quay, the tour guide, moved to New Orleans right after Katrina to attend jazz school. He played gigs for several years then invented this tour to supplement his income. We hardly went a block before individuals would flag him down to talk. It was a motley crew as is the NOLA culture. We even met the official Voodoo Queen. Quay was the perfect local guide & even hooked us up with one of the best places to eat. I highly recommend this tour!!!
He was amazing, so funny, great facts and recommendations for the city, takes amazing photos if you’re into Instagram!
Amazing guide! Learned so much about the history of New Orleans and had a lot of fun along the way!! Stopped for yummy beignets and coffee midway thru the tour for the traditional New Orleans snack!
The family came into town on a cold and rainy day. Quay gave a fun and informative tour that gave us a great starting point for our vacation. Highly recommend.
Quay’s tour is the best! We loved spending the afternoon with him, being shown all the sites around New Orleans. His tour was engaging and informative. Best part was the VIP attention the whole time. The stop at Cafe Du Monde for a coffee and beinet came at the perfect time. He made sure we had dinner plans sorted and dropped us off at our destination, got us in at the front of the line on Frenchman’s Street.
