Was a great experience. Learned a lot about Baton Rouge. Looking forward to visiting the sites that were on the tour. I went on a Monday and most sites were closed. I did go to the observation deck in the state house. The view was incredible.
The walking tour in Baton Rouge downtown was very interesting and informative! I would also recommend stopping at the Baton Rouge Visitor's Center which I believe was next to the Kress Building. Greg recommended going to the top of the capitol to the observation deck, and be sure to do that too! We ate at Lloyd's, which was on the tour, and would highly recommend that too.
We enjoyed this walking tour greatly. I appreciated that the directions were not "turn north" type instructions. Simply face the building and turn left, was so much easier than other citiy tours we have done. Cute informative stories that even locals would enjoy. The only improvement would be hints for parking. The 2 hour city street limit was not sufficient. Can I add time at any parking kiosk, or do I have to move the car?
Extremely funny and informative! You can go at your own pace, and the staff is incredibly friendly and helpful. Would recommend
What an amazing tour! Greg does an amazing job of delivering the history in a fun and uplifting way. And directions?? I was amazed at how accurate he was! No chance of getting lost! My favorite? “Head to the corner of North- I’ll meet you there!” Lol!
We got rained out on Sunday but all the customer service was good. All the set up for a great tour was there
Wonderful tour. I loved that I was able to pause the tour and have lunch at Poor Boy Lloyd's (a stop on the tour) and then restart the tour. The tour was interesting and informative. I highly recommend this tour.
Once I figured how the app worked (my fault for not watching the quick tutorial) my hubby and I really enjoyed this tour. There was the perfect amount of information on Baton Rouge. Also, Greg was great at helping me figure out the app.
Although the narrator was clear and expressive, with often good information, we felt that the app was difficult to follow-especially at the beginning. There were two of us which made it more difficult- you almost need to do the tour separately because you don’t know where the other person is in the narrative. Also, the tour did not loop around and bring us back to the beginning. It ended abruptly and we had to walk about 12 blocks back to our car. It was exhausting. I think this tour could be reworked to make it a lot more user-friendly and loop it around so that you end up closer to where you started.
Me and my husband did this walking tour while in Baton Rouge and were very impressed by it. It showed us all the historic sites and treasures of the city while doing this at our pace. We weren’t able to finish the tour in one night but were able to pick it back up from where we left off the next day! We had a great time exploring while on this tour!! It’s affordable and I would highly recommend to anyone. I would suggest bringing headphones or EarPods and a portable battery charging.
The communication was outstanding. Pick up and return back to hotel was timely. Swamp tour was exciting… great way to start the day!
the app would not begin when prompted once we arrived and keyed in password. I would recommend not wasting your time with this particular site.
The website didn’t work I called the number the man on the phone tried to help I downloaded the app but the page came up blank the customer service man said he would refund me hopefully we will get refunded chose to walk around Baton Rouge ourselves
Seeing "Red Stick". Learning history of Baton Rouge. Audio tour easy to navigate with reverse and forward features. Well done.
This place was a ghost town at 2:00 on a Saturday. Yes, it was hot, but nothing was open. The grounds are beautiful. Of course, amazing oaks. Great picture opportunities.
In French would be wise especially for a paid application A little wasted visit Luckily Governor's house plate on french!
Nous avons apprécié cette visite, en plus, nous étions le premier dimanche du mois, alors tous les musées étaient gratuits. Malheureusement, le dimanche, presque tous les restaurants sont fermés et les bars aussi.
The guided tour was good. The problem is the city. Baton Rouge has an exotic name, but no tourist interest. Fortunately the audio guide took us to the two establishments worthy of a visit: the old and new parliament. It is a city of civil servants and businessmen. Argument: no souvenir shops…
Frustration, es war zu kompliziert, bin nicht bis zum Audio durchgekommen. Konnte Tour leider nicht durchführen. Bin extra dafür 2x 70 Meilen gefahren🙈🙈🙈
