Airboat Swamp Tour

We enjoyed this tour so much! Beautiful views. Was able to see the alligators close up. The highlight of our trip.

The tour was great! We saw many gators & so many birds too! There were about 5 bald eagles around. We even got to see cool looking swamp frogs!

This was a very fun adventure. Our captain Grant was a great resource. We learned a lot, and we had perfect weather. It was amazing to see all the wildlife from the boat.

Super, super neat to see the gators close up! Our tour guide told us lots about all the animals we saw.

Tour guide did a great job, and was very knowledgable about all the wildlife on top of the alligators.

I was worried it would be too rough but it was fine! They provide ear protection since the boat is loud. It was truly the most amazing experience and Grant was the best ever!!! He was educational and fun!!

The airboat swamp tour was fantastic! Josh was our captain, and he was very funny and informative. If you are lucky enough, you will get Captain Josh!! Gators would come right up to the boat for great pics and video. If you are thinking about it, do this tour.

We had a GREAT time! Book this tour you won’t be disappointed! We knew it would be fun but our guide Jason (the adrenaline chaser😊) made the trip even better!. He made our interactions with the gators fun interesting and entertaining! The ride thru the bayou and swamps was exhilarating and so cool to see all the birds. It was like a sanctuary. It really is such an interesting ecosystem. We live on the Chesapeake Bay in Maryland so have a real appreciation for this type of environment. I was worried our larger boat would make the experience not feel personal but since we sat in the front row this was not the case! The shuttle to and from was totally worth the higher price! It bus was comfy driver was cautious and safe 10/10.

The guides are super friendly and knowledgeable! We had an absolute blast. Our guide did some drifting in the boat and we all loved it

Such a fun swamp tour! The airboat ride was a blast, and the alligators came right up to the boats for breakfast. We even saw baby gators and plenty of birds. Definitely one of the highlights of our New Orleans trip — if you’re visiting the area, put this one on your must-do list!

Great experience. Saw lots of alligators. Both the van and boat drivers were knowledgeable and entertaining. Would highly recommend. The only reason I am not giving it 5 stars is we were the last to be picked up so had to wait outside the hotel for 25 minutes waiting for our pick-up and our tour ended a few minutes early. It only ended early because the boat following kept rushing us.

About 40 minutes outside of New Orleans. Lots of fun. See alligators, glide around the swamp. Good narrator.

Must do when in NOLA! So much fun seeing all the gators and their habitat, our tour guide was very informative about all the gators and the ride was smooth, highly recommend!!

We had a girls trip and decided to the . Everyone was great from our bus driver to the boat guide. We really enjoyed ourselves

This certainly got my family talking and telling the relatives all about our swamp tour. Sean was a very laid back but informative guide and knew all about the alligators he showed us. He also did a few high speed runs in the airboat which was quite thrilling.

Was amazing tour guide for Rising Sun airboat. Got to see Clubber apparently the second d biggest gator & loved the guide he was amazing

We were on the Big Red Boat Clifford. Our guide was excellent and very informative about the alligators and natural habitat we traveled through. He located several alligators along the way and told great stories about several of them that they have come to know by name. He also gave us a fun ride through the many tributaries of the swamp. I highly recommend this tour on a trip to New Orleans.

We saw so many gators. Our tour guide had names and would call them over. He was very funny and gave some fun facts about the gators. 10/10 would do this tour again. So fun.

This was one of the best experiences I have had on vacation . I wish I could remember our guides name but he was the best. The tour was the Perfect length, fully interactive and we enjoyed every minute!

Very educational and enjoyable ride. The captains were great, friendly, and funny. It was wonderful seeing the alligators so close. Also, our captain kissed one of the large alligators right from the side of the boat. Very enjoyable trip. Would definitely do again.

Had a younger guide, Garrett and he was a great guy. Took the small boat and shuttle pickup. If you get right behind the guide on the way to the boat you can load up in the front and it’s like you’re out there on a personal tour. Saw a ton of gators, and even babies. Just make sure you hold on to your stuff, because I lost a water bottle and felt bad for littering!

Recommend the trip from beginning to end! Bri was our shuttle driver, who picked us up in a clean & air conditioned van. She was welcoming & informative. Once dropped off, it took us a few minutes to check in & be assigned to a boat. Our driver’s name was Jeff, and his personality was perfectly matched to the day! He was knowledgeable, and had fun stories about all the gators we “met”. Overall, just a really great experience! The one tip I wish I had known was to sit in the front if you can for better pictures.

Wear your sunblock bugspray and charge your cameras its a great time! Leave worry behind and enjoy yourself

This fan boat tour had to have been the highlight of our trip. All the drivers are super knowledgeable. Hats off to our driver as he made the experience that much more unforgettable. There is something special about those swamplands and the way they protect those gators. Highly recommend 10 out of 10 experience!

Captain Mike was a blast, very enthusiastic, knowledgeable, and seems to really enjoy sharing information and a lot of laughs with his guests. Very comfortable, safely operated, and highly enjoyable outing, saw tons of gators, has names for many of them, even called RayCharles out from the thick grasses to come out by us, just a hoot and gives you a sense of how incredible these majestic critters really are. Had an amazing time a true highlight of our stay in NOLA. I’d love to go fishing with Captain Mike and spend more time with him to get some insight to the local fishery. I will always come back here to bring others to have a great time as well.

It was fun! Our tour guide was hilarious and informative. I would recommend. Be sure to wear shoes you don’t mind getting dirty.

So worth it! We added this last minute activity to our short stop in New Orleans. It was so much fun, such beautiful intimate views, very informative and our guide was great! Ive been to NOLA several times and I wish I had done it sooner!
