Absolutely — here’s a polished version that keeps your honest, detailed tone while making it flow better as a review: My wife and I booked the suite on the top floor with the wrap-around balcony. The room was spacious, and we loved all the natural light coming through the large windows. Pros: * The bed was extremely comfortable, and the pillows were honestly the best I’ve ever slept on! * Great location — walking distance to many attractions and the casino. * The staff was top-notch and very friendly. * The speakers built into the ceiling were a nice touch. * The view was decent, although not the best. Cons: * We had to request housekeeping to clean the room instead of simply receiving fresh towels. That was very disappointing. * No microwave! 😢 With all the great food New Orleans has to offer, having nowhere to heat up leftovers was a major inconvenience. * The water pressure was horrible. * The furniture in the suite and on the balcony was old and worn. * The balcony definitely needed to be pressure washed. * The balcony lights didn’t work. Overall: We enjoyed some aspects of our stay, especially the location, staff, bed, and spacious room. However, considering the amount of money we spent on the suite, we expected a much better experience. Unfortunately, for the price, it just wasn’t worth it for us.

We booked a two-night stay at One11 Hotel, and while the hotel itself has a nice aesthetic and a great location, the customer service and overall experience left a lot to be desired. We arrived around 3 a.m., and because the lobby doors are locked overnight, we used the intercom to ask how to enter. The woman working the front desk responded, “If you walked around the building, you would have seen the double doors.” Instead of simply giving us directions, the response came across as unnecessarily rude and condescending—not exactly the welcome you want after arriving at a hotel at 3 in the morning. At check-in, the continental breakfast, pool, and rooftop terrace were explained, but no one mentioned that housekeeping/room service had to be requested. On the second day of our stay, we returned to the room around 4 p.m. and realized it had never been serviced. When we called the front desk, the gentleman (Joel) who answered told us they only provide room service for guests staying two nights or more. We explained that we were staying two nights—Wednesday through Friday morning—which somehow turned into unnecessary back-and-forth over the phone. We ultimately had to go downstairs just to get the situation clarified. The hotel photographs well and has a nice overall design, but the carpeted floors were noticeably dirty. Parking is also $66 for 24 hours, which is excessive considering the already significant cost of staying here. Unfortunately, the poor communication and consistently unwelcoming interactions with the front desk overshadowed the positives of the property. Hospitality matters just as much as aesthetics, and based on our experience, I would not stay here again. As a prior resident of New Orleans hospitality has gone downhill and the city is no longer the same.
Most impressive was the staff. Always available, always professional, always warm & personable. Room was spacious & clean & we loved how the room was set up. After adventuring around the fun places in New Orleans, it was important that the room we returned to was welcoming, we needed the rest. The hotels location was great. We were able to walk along the river, and there were so many places to visit within walking distance. Overall a great experience & we will not only be returning but referring to others.
The staff was excellent. The A/C went out in our room and the staff had us moved to a new room before we knew there was a problem. The bar area is very well stocked and Melissa not only was a great bar tender but helped us pick out places to eat that were amazing. My family and I 100% recommend this place.
I came with my daughter for a mother-daughter getaway, and we had a terrific time in New Orleans. Unfortunately, I am disappointed to give this hotel only two stars. The location and physical facilities are excellent and easily deserving of five stars. However, the service experience fell far below expectations. Most of the staff seemed disengaged and, at times, openly unpleasant. One morning at 7:30 a.m., when I went downstairs for coffee, members of the cleaning crew were seated on the lobby couches, wet mops resting on the furniture, while loudly watching a television show on their phones. This created an unwelcoming atmosphere. The bar was consistently empty, which may reflect the service experience there as well. The bartenders came across as surly, impersonal, and uninterested in hospitality. At the front desk, the gentlemen working there appeared more focused on their phones than on guests. When we asked for assistance obtaining the key to the minibar in the shopping area, they seemed inconvenienced and exasperated. This property has tremendous potential because the location and facilities are terrific. With better management attention to service culture, professionalism, and guest engagement, it could be an outstanding hotel.
