Ranking this hotel as an event venue: The event rooms are clean. I personally love the colors in the rooms with painted walls. They are very calming. The grand ballroom is beautiful. It’s spacious and there is plenty of lighting from windows. I love that it has brick walls, It’s different. Love the rooftop! It’s so peaceful up there. I did find that the hallways get very crowded between sessions. The staff here is pleasant.

We had a wonderful stay over Labor Day weekend. The hotel was very nice, clean, comfortable, and in a great location, making it easy to get around and enjoy everything the area has to offer. The atmosphere was welcoming, and overall it was a very pleasant experience. A special shout-out to Sean at the front desk, who really made our stay stand out from the very beginning. He was incredibly welcoming, friendly, and genuinely willing to help. He went above and beyond to make sure we were taken care of, including helping us get a room upgrade to an even better room. He also had excellent recommendations for places to eat, things to see, and places worth checking out. Sean was super cool, personable, and exactly the kind of person you want to meet when you first check into a hotel. Having someone like him at the front desk immediately creates a great first impression and sets the tone for the entire stay. I also want to mention Kevin at luggage storage, who was such a nice guy and very helpful. He was friendly, welcoming, and made the whole process easy and pleasant. It’s the little interactions like these that really make a difference when you’re staying at a hotel. Overall, we truly enjoyed our stay. The hotel, location, and especially the wonderful staff made it a great experience. We would definitely come back!
The NOPSI Hotel has potential, and the staff members are very nice, but management is letting them down. There is a mandatory $35/day daily fee for "perks" that you cannot actually redeem. For example, their brochure promises discounts on local tours, but when we asked the front desk, no one had ever heard of it. Apart from a single welcome drink the fee feels like a charge for nothing. (There is a pool access, but to be honest it should already be included in the room rate.) Housekeeping also required constant prompting. We had to specifically ask to get our room cleaned and to receive a bathrobe that was missing upon arrival. Finally, the room amenities are disappointing. The shampoo and body wash are still served in tiny plastic bottles that run out quickly and are not environmentally friendly. For a hotel of this caliber, these products should really be transitioned to large, wall-mounted dispensers. It is a beautiful property, but the hidden fees, service gaps, and lack of sustainability left a bad taste. We came here for our 20th wedding anniversary and tbh I feel a bit down. I am not sure I would come back or recommend the place…
I recently stayed at this location on a business trip. I usually stay at Marriott properties where I am a Titanium Bonvoy member but my colleague wanted to try staying at this facility. It was not a good experience. I was traveling on official government business and realized after checking both my colleague and I forgot to turn in the tax exempt form. We let the front desk attendant know who said to email the form to the front desk. I did so and at the same time made another reservation for the upcoming for another business trip. After checking out on Friday, I realized the tax had not been removed. I called back and was told the information would be forwarded to the manager the next day. I didn't hear back the next day and after speaking with 4 different people , I was told the reservation had been made under a different discount code therefore would not qualify for the tax exemption eventhough the receptionist could see the upcoming reservation was booked at the government rate. I explained it was obviously a mistake but the response I got was not very customer service accommodating. I ended canceling my next reservation, rebooking at the Marriott property and will let my department know not to use this location because not only is it expensive but couldn't care less about government business travelers. I didnt give a zero bevause the room was spacious and clean, otherwise the apathetic attitude towards business travelers especially when return trips were planned and subsequently canceled they couldn't care less. Extremely disappointing.
100/100 – I highly recommend staying at the NOPSI! The hotel was beautiful, clean, and well-maintained. I really enjoyed my stay. The only downside was my check-in experience. Unfortunately, the front desk agent who assisted me was not welcoming and didn’t provide any information about the hotel. She simply handed me my room keys without explaining where anything was or making me feel welcomed. She also didn’t introduce herself or wear a name tag, so I wasn’t able to get her name. I think she could benefit from additional customer service training. On the other hand, Kevin and Tim were absolutely amazing! They were friendly, professional, and made me feel genuinely welcome. There was also a tall white gentleman working at the bar who provided outstanding service, and a young Black gentleman at the front desk with glasses and locs who was incredibly kind and helpful. I hate that I didn’t get their names, but all four of them truly stood out and made a positive impact on my stay. Despite the disappointing check-in experience, the exceptional service from the rest of the staff more than made up for it. I will definitely be back VERY soon!
