Room was nice and clean, as was the bathroom and shower. Honestly, great rooms. Hotel aspect overall was good. My only thing was I was imagining more of a Margaritaville experience, and it was more corporate casino hotel with a few coastal type photos posted around. Honestly it’s my only complaint, I've been to other Margaritavilles and you feel like you’re in a Jimmy Buffett song, here, if your not a big casino person like me I sprinted to the elevator through the smokey casino floor up to my room.
Terrible craps tables. Many of the dralers and ffloorpeople seem completely disinterested. I will not be playing craps there again. Slots were fine. Hotel was nice since upgrade. Passionate at the front desk was very friendly and I enjoyed our conversation.
Stayed here for one night. The casino was poor for winning. Tightest slots I've ever seen. The rooms are great! Very clean and modern. The shower head has a high powered power wash setting that will change your life. Service was okay, food was good. Drinks by the pool were delicious.
Margaritaville Resort Casino in Bossier City is a great destination if you’re looking for entertainment, dining, and gaming all in one place. The property is easy to get to, offers plenty of parking, and was very clean throughout our visit.
The casino floor was well-maintained, and all of the machines we used were operational. One thing to note is that smoking is allowed in the casino, so keep that in mind if you’re sensitive to smoke. There were also several restaurant options on-site, giving guests plenty of choices depending on what they’re in the mood for.
If I were staying in the area, this would definitely be a property I would consider. Between the casino, outdoor pool, poolside bar, and various dining options, there’s plenty to keep you entertained without ever leaving the resort.
The location along the river is nice, although it was a little disappointing to see that many of the nearby storefronts appear to be closed. That said, there are still several attractions within easy reach, including Bass Pro Shops, a movie theater, and a variety of restaurants nearby.
Overall, Margaritaville offers a fun and convenient experience with plenty of amenities, a clean atmosphere, and lots of entertainment options. Whether you’re visiting for a few hours or planning an overnight stay, it’s worth checking out.
I did reservation on the phone as I wanted to take advantage of the 2 free nights I had. Lady that helped was nice and said some charges were going to show but at check-in they were going to honor the offer. I asked for a room with view to the river. I got to the hotel and the lady at the counter was not friendly at all and kinda rude. I got charged and a room with view to the city. When I told her what I requested and that I shouldn't be charged, she just dismissed it like she didn't care and had no desire to rectify the situation.
This is the second year we come to this hotel. Last year we had a great experience and the staff was very friendly and helpful. This time, staff honestly looked like they didn't want to be there at all. Even the guy at check-out didn't even say good morning or anything and just was ready to be done with us.
I'm definitely going to think again if I want to come back or not as I would expect better customer service and to honor the offers they promote.
