What a shame. As LA native living in DFW, we were planning to take the kids to NOLA until the Isaiah storm caused is to make a game time decision and cancel the reservation well within the policy. We spoke to the hotel multiple times and were told that no charges would be made. Unfortunately, those charges were made. The hotel has said they “can’t do anything due to the system.” Very unfortunately, the hotel staff won’t offer any solution. A real opposite of the NOLA hospitality I was accustomed to growing up in the area. A real disappointment for our family and what I was told was a superb hotel. Plenty of other options in NOLA.

My wife and I stayed here on the last night of our honeymoon in New Orleans, and we will 100% be coming back every time we visit the city from now on. Staff is incredibly friendly (Kevin was extremely welcoming and gave us a full rundown of the property), rooms are gorgeous and full of charm, and the location is perfect if you don’t want the noise from the city. The restaurant/bar had tasty food and cocktails. There are also so many beautiful room options to choose from, and we can’t wait to come back and check out the others.
Really fantastic. Probably the best decorated hotel I've ever stayed in. Everything was planned to perfection and it showed. I always try to stay in more boutique, independent hotels when travelling and this was perfect. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms and it was perfectly comfy, a great bed, fantastic shower and just lovely interiors. A really beautiful hotel, with great staff. The perfect place to explore New Orleans - right next to Frenchmen's St and very close to Bourbon and Royal Streets. Honestly, no notes whatsoever, just a really perfect place to stay, and I cant wait to return. Shout-out to the lovely receptionist Kevin who checked us in and gave great advise for the area!
We had a great experience here!! The entire hotel is gorgeous and it’s walking distance to Frenchmen street which is very convenient. The Elysian Bar was beautiful and we had great pre dinner cocktails there. The staff was so friendly and helpful— Raina at the front desk was so kind! At the church we also got to go to Piety Market which has a bunch of vendors and shops and live music inside! It’s every 3rd Sunday so be on the lookout for that it’s very cool!
Such a bummer to have to leave a less than 5 star review, because this hotel is so beautiful and we had such a delightful stay. Unfortunately, our last morning was sour enough to impact our feelings. I reached out (admittedly late, around 1:30am) to ask if we could check out at noon instead of 11. They have a live chat if no one is at the front desk, so I assumed this would be best. The person on the live chat said staying an hour later would be $50 extra, okay, fine. I then followed up via chat, sent nothing, sent my partner down to ask, who was told no because people were coming in to the rooms later (well, yes, it’s a hotel). I still hadn’t received a response on the chat so I followed up, where I was finally officially told no. If it is not possible to accommodate, that is truly no worries. I work in hospitality and understand how these things are. However, the language around it should be more specific if I now have to wake up earlier than I thought and rush out, on my last day in a beautiful place without an offer or an apology. Just so entirely disappointing, because we had been so enchanted by the place before this experience.
