Francisco took us through the animal sanctuary and did a phenomenal job! He was patient, kind, he educated us and was very nice and friendly. He went out of his way to make sure we got the best experience possible. The zip lining was super fun and very exciting!! Everyone who helped us up and down was super nice, very patient and made it a wonderful experience over all. It was too hot for us the day we went, but everyone we encountered was helpful and provided the best service. Thank you so much for a wonderful experience!!

Pick up was on time and friendly. Check in to the park was very unorganized and slow it seems. Took about 40 min. I don’t blame the trip more the Cabo adventures side of it. They said they were very busy that day though. Didn’t help it was so hot. The event itself was very fun but be prepared to walk upstairs a lot! They said a lot of people can’t finish. You have to be in good shape for sure. Very thrilling once you’re zip lining though.
We went horse back riding. They did such a good job explaining everything, and picking horses. Also, amazing job at keeping nervous riders calm and helping them get used to everything. I got to ride Ricky. He was a gentle giant with a big heart and some opinion. He was awesome. Thank you so much Jess for leading us, and to Megan and Courtney for helping us along the way. You ladies were awesome.
Be aware, you have to pay an additional $25/pp at check in. The price was definitely not worth the experience. No cameras allowed and the photographer was no where to be seen during the 2 hrs we were there. The guides were ok, there was a lot of sitting and waiting around. Just under a 2 hr experience to complete 8 ziplines. The longest is about 1/2 mile. I would have been extremely disappointed if we did the day pass. My kids 13 and 16 could not get out of there fast enough. Disappointed overall.
Very friendly staff. Great experience. Fun zipline runs with a couple of UTV rides in between lines. More stairs than expected but well maintained with most of them being concrete. Would do it again.
Here is all of the details I wish we’d know before booking the zip line tour in case this helps someone else reading this review. The Good Nice facility and the zip line guides were great and very helpful. The equipment seemed well cared for and the safety of participants was a priority. Check-in - We expected to sign a waiver, but the requirement for a government issued ID for any participant 18 or over was not explained anywhere in the information we received by email after booking online. One person in our party had a photo of their ID which they accepted and I had my drivers license. They finally just had the third person sign something since they did not have ID with them or a photo. Transportation - The Wild Canyon has a shuttle you can take to and from your resort for an additional charge. We took an Uber and our driver initially got lost, but did get us there, and fortunately was very nice about it. You cannot book an Uber on the way back. It will come up as no available drivers. We planned to take the wild Canyon shuttle to get back for this reason. Be aware of that transportation back on their shuttle is at limited times. It only departed at three times a day - noon, 3:30 pm and closing the day we were there. We did not want to wait around for over an hour and didn’t plan on doing a second activity. Wild Canyon arranged a private taxi for us after we complained about waiting around for over an hour for the shuttle. It was around $10 more and took 30 minutes to arrive. Thankfully, we brought enough cash to cover this as I do not think the taxi driver would’ve accepted a credit card . Having your own four-wheel vehicle to drive yourself to and from is ideal since it is located off paved roads. We saw several families with their own transportation, and that seems to be the best way to get there and back if possible. Zip lining - This is a very strenuous course, which includes walking up stairs. You either need to bring your own water bottle or purchase water at the beginning of the course. There is filtered water for refills on the course. You must carry your own pulley for the zip line which is heavy. We experienced a great zip lining course in Costa Rica and they automatically stopped you at the bottom of each line. This course was different and you have to manually break your speed on the Wild Canyon course. This requires some upper body strength and the ability to manipulate your pulley in a back-and-forth motion. If you don’t break soon enough, you will crash into the platform at the bottom and if you break too soon you will get stuck before the end of the zip line. It was difficult to gauge how fast you should go and more than one person on our tour got stuck and had to pull themselves the rest away across the line or the course instructors would rescue you. I would recommend this course for anyone who is in very good shape and has previous experience zip lining experience.
The zip lines were great but they don't tell you about the hundreds of steps between them. Everyone was very courteous and helpful. Felt very safe.
By way of introduction I am experienced mountaineer with 45 years of experience leading both rock and glacier climbs. We were issued sit harnesses with two locking carabiners. There are two type of locking biners: one is self locking, the other requires screwing a barrel nut on the threads on the gate to lock the gate from opening. The sit harness I was issued had the manual locking biners. I watched as the 'guide' attached me to the practice pulley. I had to ask the guide to lock the gate. In fact the biner was faulty and would not lock (i.e. the biners were not checked to see if they were operational prior to be used by the public). I was told it was not necessary. I said I will not proceed without a properly locking biner. I was given another one. I had to tell the guide to lock both biners. It's clear to me this was not a part of their routine. I appreciate they had a guide at both ends of the cable, but I had to repeatedly tell each new 'guide' to lock the biners. Locking biners are required for this application. If they are required, they need to be LOCKED EVERY TIME. When leading climbs, it was common practice that I check every knot and every locking biner every time for every climber on my rope and they checked mine. This is standard safety protocol. For normal operation an unlocked biner isn't likely to cause a problem. But there could be fatal consequences during an anomaly. 100' in the air going 50 mph - I want all the safety I can have. The manual locking biners need to be retired. The staff needs to be retrained to examine every biner prior to use to verify proper operation. Even self locking biners can stick. They appeared to be under staffed when I was there. We waited up to 15 minutes for a guide to arrive at the other side of the zip line. They also had a cart break down and no one available to bring up another. On the other hand I observed the staff was very cautious. They were watching out for all the participants. Making sure all were hydrated and not over exerting themselves. My conclusion is the staff is trying to do the right thing. Management is not staffing to safe levels. Retraining is required for this to be a safe activity.
My 12 year old daughter and I had an amazing experience!! Special thanks to Eric, Bahena, Justin, Pedro, and Many! They were great! It was an unforgettable memory that my daughter and I will cherish forever.
A lot of hiking but amazing to say the least… i will definitely do it again plus it was my first time
The staff was EXTREMELY kind and helpful! They went over and above board to help us out with not only the ziplining but would take as many breaks as we needed during the walks/climbs. Can not say enough good things about them!
I have done the zipline with Cabo Adventure last year so this time I wanted to try something different so I chose Wild Canyon. It is located pretty close to Cabo so getting there was easier if you have a car that doesn't mind driving on offroad (typical Cabo unpaved road). Cabo Adventure will take you to their location close to Mira Flores. The experience was very different from that of Cabo Adventure. It is hard to say which is good as they are so different. - There is a lot less walking involved compared to Cabo Adventure. - No lunch provided. - Staff are friendly but not overly engaging. Often times you just wait at the station until one of the staff shows up whereas with Cabo Adventure, there was a team of people with you all the time and more engaging. Cabo Adventure was definitely very concerned about the safety and would double check everything all the time. This is not to say Canyon was not safe. - Staff weren't begging for tips which I liked it a lot and ended up leaving a hefty in the tip box. Cabo Adventure would pester until you literally give them a tip. This seems to be a common practice for Cabo Adventure. Perhaps that's the only way they can make money. - Photo. Cabo Adventure tried hard to sell photos. Again Canyon doesn't push anything to you which I liked. - Many of ziplines are designed for two or three people so you don't get to ride solo other than a few of them. Both companies are great and if you have to judge solely based on the zipline excitement level, I would rank Cabo Adventure higher than Wild Canyon. Try both and see which one you like better.
"Wild Canyon Adventures sent you a message: According to your request, your pickup will be at 8:30 am at Riu Palce main lobby Transportation is shared with more clients. Tolerance waiting time is 5 minutes." No pick up, waited from 8:00 to 9:30 When I emailed to ask what happened was told they had changed pick up time Offered to reschedule for another day, we didn't have another day available refused to give a refund
This experience was beyond phenomenal! The guides were amazing and so personable, they remembered our names and truly made the experience. I almost enjoyed their service more than the views. With that said the views were spectacular and the zip lines were a blast. We were the only 2 that did the excursion so there were no wait time and we were able to just start each line as soon as we got there. I cannot recommend this place enough! I would not change anything about the experience.
Super amazing zip line experience and guides plus a great drive with Roman. Definitely a place to visit again!!!!!!!!!
The zips were excellent and so was the staff. The problem we had was that after each zip we had to climb stairs to get back to altitude for the next zip. I'm 80 and wasn't expecting such a workout. My wife couldn't finish. Except for the climbing it would be a 5-star experience. I would highly recommend it for the younger crowd.
Just completed the monster zip line tour at Wild Canyon and it was excellent. Really long and fast zip lines. I’ve done many zip lines in various parts of the world and this one had the longest and fastest lines. The company is very safe and José, our lead guide was excellent and always made us feel safe. These zip lines go through large canyons so the scenery is stunning and the photos they get of you are incredible. Also Wild Canyon is very close to the tourist corridor (20-25 min from most hotels) and because of that you can get a cab back or take an Uber there without the hassle of riding those long shuttle rides to outfitters located over an hour away. You can easily go and return from this tour in 2.5 hours total whereas other ones could easily eat up an entire day when transportation is factored in. One thing to mention is that you will be climbing steps and doing physical activity so don’t overestimate your physical ability as this activity does require it but there are plenty of hydration stations and the guides are always willing to stop and let you catch your breath.
Horrible experience from start to finish. I went with 4 kids and as a group of 3 people on each ride we got stuck twice. Can you imagine getting stuck on an extremely elevated don’t two small kids asking them to turn around and pull on a rope all the way to the spot? It was insanely scary and difficult. To top it off the workers said “what’s the big deal?” “It’s not that bad!” “You’re fine!” Kept getting dismissed and they would not find any way to make the experience better. No waivers were given to sign, no refund was offered - nothing. It felt cruel and uncaring. I do not recommend kids on this ride.
Be prepared for a looonnnnggg wait to go back to your hotel. Ziplining ended at 1:40 pm. Shuttle back to hotels didn’t leave until 3:30. Uber doesn’t come here. We were trapped with a sick, sobbing child who just wanted to go home.
it was a breath taking experience. I am amazed that at 73 I was able to do this. the guys there are so professional and make you feel that you can and so you do!! as a woman I appreciate their belief in. me. the following outstanding employees made this possible for me and so thankful they took a video of me so now everyone believes me! thank you Christian. Eddy. Patricio. Beto. Brendon. Jose. Pedro. mucho gracias! Sherry
Wonderful people! Some hiking uphill but long runs off zip lining. We had a great time!!!! Highly recommended! Will definitely do again!
Monster Zip lines deserved more than 5 stars!!! The crew was very helpful in assisting my group and I with our very first zip line experience.
The view was amazing. The crew that kept everyone safe and worked extremely hard to make everything run smoothly. They were very professional and make sure everyone enjoyed the experience
This ZIP LINING experience was AMAZING!!! Funnest thing EVER, I would recommend it to EVERYONE!! …..buuuuut, if you do this excursion while on a cruise ship, book with the cruise!!! DON’T go straight to Wild Canyon’s website and book it on your own. Because we booked on our own, we ended up being their last concern, last to get a ride back, and just not really taken care of for some reason. We almost missed the last water shuttle to the ship and had to throw an absolute fit just to get a ride back from this desert destination. Other than that, it was great. Just sucks how it ended, totally robbed the experience. Also, no picture taking allowed. You’ll have to pay $300+ for a photo package at the end if you want ones.
We had a cancelled fishing trip so booked the zip line tour last minute on our last day. Everything was great! Guides were amazing and the lines were super fun!
My girlfriend and I are both experienced rock climbers and cavers. We thought the zipline would be interesting, but we never would have guessed how fun and exciting it is! We do spend a lot of time up high in the air, but not flying half a mile across a canyon at 50 mph! The staff is experienced and professional. As climbers we are obviously very safety conscious and we're watching everything carefully and these guys really know what they are doing. When you are flying through the air at terrifying speeds you might actually even feel safe! Hahaha Our thanks go out to José, Brandon, Emmanuel, Beto and especially Joab who "rescued" us when we came up a few meters short of the finish line on Zipline #7. Zipline #8 was AWESOME! Highly recommended by Dr. Piton and Debbie Double D's!!
I went with my family of 5 and we had an amazing time zip lining!! Our tour guides Joel, Brandon, and Javier were the best. They made our time fun, exciting, time proficient, and very comfortable. We would definitely zip line with them again.
Waited in a railing fior my friend and it gave away. Luckily I am right handed and went that way to save myself or I would be off the cliff. Told the workers and they had zero care. Went back down after the 4th zipline and had 2 watermelon margaritas….which were awesome! Highly recommend those!!!
My husband and I had the best time on the zip lines with Javier!! It was my first time on this size zip lines and he made me feel very at ease. It was a great time and we will definitely be back next time we are in town!
What a great experience we had ziplining. We had 6 people in our party, age range from 11 to 75. Our experience was incredible. All the staff was so accommodating and helpful because some of us had some fears. They went out of their way to make us feel safe, especially Brendon. Thank you Xavier, Joab, Joe, Beto, and Patrick - our experience was unforgettable.
The quality and length of the Zip line. The resort employees were incredible and patient with our special needs son. The best zip line I've experienced
The staff was amazing. My first time doing tandem zips which was fun. The lines were good lengths and fast.
Mu husband and I went to Wild Canyon on Dec 8 2023. This was my first time in Mexico and it was memorable for sure. Terry Krausz did the Monster Zip Line and had a blast. I tried but it was an epic fail. I had a panic attack. The staff at the entire facility that day were simply amazing. I was never left alone for one second. The boys at the zip line get a special call out for taking such good care of me the entire time. Since I did not zip line, I was offered any other "attraction" in lieu of. I was driven to see Sahara the camel, and then given a private tour of the animal sanctuary with my own private guide. Terry was given updates on me at each platform of the zip line. The level of service and treatment we received was second to none. Before we left every guy at the zip line hugged me and told me how proud they were that I faced my fears and gave it a try. Never in our lives have we received such exceptional service and frankly all of the staff that day deserve a raise. I cannot recommend this facility enough! Thank you so much! Tammy Burden & Terry Krausz - Calgary, Alberta Canda
We have done several zip lines and this was definitely one of the worst experiences. We came in and the place was super disorganized. We waited and talked to 3 different people just to find out where the zip lining was located. Once we started the zip lines itself the experience was very “mid”. The ziplines were pretty slow and short and the members gave little to no instruction. One guy in particular was continually irritated when our group struggled to get the right position (for reference you have to hold your legs up while leaning back which is incredibly uncomfortable). However I will say the rest of the staff were pretty nice just had a bit of a language barrier. The way the course is set up you also have to walk up several flights of stairs to get from one zipline to another so definitely keep that in mind. I would say this difficult hiking is pretty standard though for most ziplines. TLDR: avoid this very mid and disorganized zipline course and try to book with a different company!
Zip lining is intense but awesome! The hikes between lines were more strenuous than we expected but the staff was lovely, the terrain was gorgeous and the experience was great!
Once we arrived we were greeted very kindly by Josè Rojas, which we greatly recommend. He was very kinda and respectful, while also very funny and made sure we were safe. We had a ton of fun and really enjoyed it!
Looking for a fun action pact adventure? This is the place and Xavier, Baena, Brendon, Raziel, Pedro, and Beto are your guys! Fun, friendly, professional! This crew will help you navigate 8 ziplines, absolutely amazing!!!! Definitely a NEED TO DO while you’re in the Cabo area. Can’t wait to bring the entire family next time. Thank you Gentlemen, Strong Work
Service was great, Miguel with the horses was super friendly and was great guide! Javier with zipping was great with telling us with instruction and just overall service, Great job!
Great time! Staff were funny, helpful and kind! 8 zipline over Beautiful scenery, lots of steps (between zip lines). Wonder experience!
SO MUCH FUN!!! Our team of staff through the entire tour was hilarious and amazing as well as remembering our names throughout the tour. Each zipline was a blast and well worth the trip!!
Zip lining here was so much fun!! There were a good amount of ziplines of all lengths and even a group zipline which I’ve never done before. The crew really made our experience extra special, especially Javier. He was so upbeat and fun and helped us out throughout the zip line experience.
hi, my son, and two grand daughters ages, eight and 10, took the 3 PM Zipline tour because that was the only one available when we booked. This turned out to be positive and a little negative. The positive was that our family of four was the only group on the zip lines at that time. We got essentially a private tour! A disadvantage was that it was quite hot. There was plenty of cold water to refill our water bottle at each of the Zipline stations. While you get to go on a total of eight Zipline rides, one of them is a repeated Zipline. This means there are seven unique zip lines in the experience. staff, including Javier and Jose were friendly, competent, and carefully concerned about our safety. This was a memorable part of our family trip to Cabo San Lucas. sleep lines appear to be sturdily built and it seemed like we were running on 5/8 inch steel cable with our trolleys. The zip lines are high speed with the longer ones generating speeds in the neighborhood of 50 mph! My granddaughters handled these without difficulty. We did experience the water slides at the conclusion. While it was very nice to be able to cool off, the water was rather murky. I don’t know if this was a consequence of the rain that fell the day before or if this is how it is every day. Recent rains did mean that we had green hillsides to look at and enjoy in our photos. The staff indicated that the hillside’s are typically brown. We purchased the family photo package prior to embarking. We received 165 photos via airdrop to my phone at the conclusion of the experience. However, it did take about 25 minutes for them to accomplish that download.
Really had a blast zip lining at Wild Canyon! Jose was awesome! Very friendly and helpful. All the staff was great!! I will definitely be back
Great experience for sure. The employees were very friendly and welcoming. Other than the heat and all the stairs, it was fantastic!!
I have done many ziplines around the world ( Canada, New Zealand, Acapulco, Zimbawe) and by far this is the best one!!! About the staff, it is very well prepared, trained and made my kids feel very coinfidence at any time! I want to thank specially Guillermo for taking care of my experience and my kids!! (10 & 11). Highly recommend!!!
When we made the reservation for the ziplining at Wild Canyon we didn’t realize there was so much other stuff to do here. And we were even more (pleasantly) surprised that there were 8 ziplines! Just beware because it is quite a hike (lots of stairs) between the lines. Make sure to bring comfortable shoes and water!! But there are multiple water jugs/coolers with cold water to refill your bottles. And if you go at the end of July like we did, the weather will be HOT. It was tough but so worth it!! My favorite zipline was #8. And luckily there was a small water park waiting for us at the end. All of the tour guides that helped us were so friendly and funny, and I’m so grateful for them. Some of the staff from the ziplining area that I remember are Javier, Jose, Brandon, and Beto. But everyone was incredible from point of arrival (and not half bad on the eyes either;)). Oh and, there’s so much to do so make sure to use your time wisely, I think it would be hard to get everything done in one day.
Great ziplines and excellent staff!! Very fun. Staff was very friendly and did a great job at calming a family member who is afraid of heights. Highly recommend!! Would definitely go back!!
The tour was amazing and the people working there live Javier, Brandon and all the others helped a lot through out the whole way. They do a really good job and with this cabo heat they deserve nothing but good things ahead of this. Overall a really fun experience I really recommend it!!! - Familia Luna
Super fun times at the monster zip line. Friendly staff and a good time to be had by all. Afternoon session in July was a bit hot, but the kids had fun regardless. Just make sure to drink a lot of water.
We had an absolutely amazing time! All the staff was friendly and funny. They made the experience so much better. We got to do 8 zip lines, some as single riders, some as doubles, and some backwards. The view was amazing and the whole place was cool! If you come to Cabo and are a thrill seeker, you have to come here.
