Lifetime memories! Excellent day on the water; Mario, Pepe, and the crew were very friendly and accommodating. They shared knowledge of the local sea life and let us experience it in a safe & exciting way. They were also very mindful of respecting the sea life and not stressing the animals we saw. (Humpback whale, Gray Whale, dolphins, Olive sea turtle, mobula ray & more!) Fantastic photos and fun had by our little group. Recommend 1000% sunscreen as the boat is not covered!!! (Although I am currently shedding like an iguana, and could hardly move for 2 days, I would do it again in a heartbeat LOL!) THANK YOU

Our experience with Baja Vikings Ecoventures was nothing short of magical! FIVE STARS all-around. We were traveling as a family: my husband and I and our four small children (10, 8, 6, 5). Our tour guide was Camilla (Cami) and she was phenomenal. The whale watching was an unbelievable experience. We were able to see them breaching almost completely out of the water only a short distance away from us as well as watch the behaviors between a mother and calf. Cami was extremely knowledgeable about the whales and their behavior and answered all of our questions. She was unbelievable with our kids. The boat had snacks and water, and my kids felt totally comfortable asking Cami when they needed something. We went snorkeling afterwards and even though my boys didn't love it, Cami was calm and patient with them. And the best part was that Cami was taking pictures (at no additional cost) of our adventures, including in the water while we snorkeled, so we could be present and enjoy it without worrying about taking our own pictures. Seriously one of the best excursions I have ever done! FIVE STARS!

One of the better activities we did on our trip. It was a blast and the guide was amazing, saw plenty of whales, dolphins and tropical fish. Not a trap like most others. Highly recommend!!

We had a great time on our whale watching and snorkeling tour! We saw lots of different fish, turtles, mom and baby humpback whales, and an awesome breaching humpback to end the trip. Our guides were super knowledgeable and engaging. We highly recommend this company!

We had a wonderful experience with Baja Vikings Ecotours. We appreciated the passion that the guide and captain clearly had for their job and for the whales. They were respectful of the animals while still ensuring we had plenty of views of the animals and shared plenty of knowledge with us, encouraging us to ask any questions. We were fortunate to have a huge pod of dolphins swim all around (and under) our boat for quite some time. Our guide took underwater video and photos, though we are still to receive them. The snorkeling was beautiful as well. Highly recommend this tour!

What a great trip Razz and Jose were great guides and captains. Whale watching was amazing but the snorkeling really put it over the top!

We booked this directly and were excited for the tour. I did let them know that we had two grandmothers with us over 80 years old who wouldn’t snorkel and assumed they would know what kind of seats they would need to be comfortable. On arrival, there were two other families with us and we were led to a small pontoon boat without shade or cover and the grandmothers were pointed to a tiny spot on the pontoon to sit for the next four hours. We were packed together like sardines. My 80 year old mother in law was in agony at the end of the trip from the position she had to sit in. I don’t know who would think this was acceptable seating for elderly people, but it was really uncomfortable. The snorkeling was 15-20 minutes and we were rushed back on to go search for more whales, so this was more of a 3.5 hour whale watching trip than snorkeling by far. We saw a lot of wildlife and the guide was knowledgeable, but I would not choose this company for older people.

We had a wonderful time! Raz was an amazing tour guide and took us to snorkel and whale watch at the best spots. He was knowledgeable, kind and fun!

The whale watching tour was the highlight of our trip. We were fortunate to have Razz and Jose as our guides, both of whom were exceptional. In particular, we were paired with Razz, whose expertise in whale studies greatly enhanced our experience. Razz provided us with a wealth of information about the whales, making the outing not only enjoyable but also highly educational. We were lucky enough to get a video of the two whales breaching only because Razz knew that the time between breaths and the tail orientation was a good indicator that they would breach soon.

Showed up 45 minutes ahead of schedule. Supposed to depart at 1. Waited until 1:15. No show. Company has no office staffed at suggested meeting location. Ended up going with Bryan tours in office B21. for 1/2 the money. Also it was not disclosed in advance that Baja Vikings charges an exorbitant 16% for use of a credit card adding $46 dollars to their already expensive trip. There are 100's of options once you get to the Marina. Would not use Trip Advisor to book this or anything else in the future based on our experience.

It was an absolute incredible experience. We must have seen 10 whales and they certainly put on a show for us. We then went to a great snorkeling site that had so many different types of fish, turtles, rays etc.. Mario and Pedro are what made this experience the best. Great guys and they know their stuff. You will not be disappointed!!

Great trip out to see whales and snorkel. The guide was super great and even took photos to email us later. Elizabeth in the office and reservations was very responsive. All in All a great trip.

HIGHLY RECOMMEND ! We could not have been more happy. Everything was comfortable and easy. Our guide, Fernando, was informative, personable and extremely helpful when snorkeling. Unbelievable whale watching; our boat captain worked really hard to get great views while being respectful to the whales. What a great value - with photos and videos included and GoPro shots airdropped before we got off the boat! Entire family was impressed and very happy!

My husband and I booked the whale watching and snorkeling combo. It was a really great experience. I prepared my underwater devices, and when we were told that they will take care of that, I put my devices away and enjoyed the moment. We ended up having an almost private tour. Mario and his team knew exactly where to spot the whales. They also made us listen to them sing. We saw a momma and a baby whale. After the whale watching tour, they took us to snorkeling reef and we saw baby sharks and different kinds of fishes. Overall it was a great experience and we highly recommend them. I told their team that they have such a cool day job, chasing whales all day! When we returned from our trip, they sent us the pictures from the tour. Thank you again Baja Vikings for a memorable experience.

Excellent experience with Louis and Mario. We saw grey whales and humpback whales playing and breaching in the water. Our hosts were very courteous and friendly for the entire trip. I would highly recommend booking with them for your whale watching tour. The snorkeling was also great! We were lucky to see two white tail shark in the reefs. Overall a stellar experience and we can’t wait to come back.

We saw so many whales, both the guide and captain were extremely knowledgeable and excited about finding whales, we saw humpback bad grey whales dolphins manta rays and a baby sea lion. Would recommend to anyone who wants to see the sights. Thanks Mario and Lewin.

Everything about Baja Viking eco adventure was exemplary— the employees were kind and professional, the tour guide was knowledgeable and helpful. It was definitely worth the cost!

My tour was cancelled by the company but they only tried to get ahold of me through messages on here- which I didn't receive- despite also having my email and number for Whatsapp, so I was left sitting at the meeting point trying to figure out what was going on. Now I'm trying to get my money back, since the company cancelled, and I am being ghosted by them. Definitely not a good way to do business.

Amazing Tour! We didn’t like the vibe of the other similar companies- they were more open bar / party vibe, whereas this company felt more focused on the animals and environment that we were there to see. Whales were very active so we decided to do more whale watching than snorkling. We saw several different baby/ mama / nanny humpback whales together (7+ different whales total). At the end we followed a baby humpback that fully breached at least 9 times! We saw other boats that were packed like sardines with customers. Our boat was not packed at all, and we were able to move to any spot on the boat we wanted to get a the absolute closest view. My only regret is that I don’t remember the names of the guide or captain to give them more personal recognition.

It was a wonderful adventure, made extra special by Dee and Captain Alex!! We saw many whales and Captain Alex took us places that were not mobbed by other boats. The highlight? Watching a mother and her calf enjoy the surface as we listened to them sing to each other on the hydrophone. Dee was a wealth of knowledge and it was fun to learn more about these magnificent creatures. Also saw a couple of marlins and sea lions.

I highly recommend this outfit for whale watching and snorkeling. The boat was excellent and roomy, the captain and crew were incredible. D included little whale toys as visual aids for my 6 year old. We learned quite a bit and had close encounters with 3 separate pods. We watched a baby humpback breach and play next to it's mother for hours. It was incredible.

Better than advertised! First off the captain was skilled in boat handling, and all of the safety gear was in excellent condition. Our guide/divemaster was personable, knowledgeable and paid attention to our wants and needs. We had a lovely tour of the arch and surrounding area, spotted some whales and were taken to a dynamite snorkeling area. There were plenty of fish to see and plenty of time to see them. The masks fins and snorkels were clean and in excellent condition. On our way back we spotted a bunch of boats gathering. Following a brief consult between guide captain and passengers we set off to confirm that they had spotted a bunch of whales. The twin 200 hp Yamaha outboards quickly brought us to the area. Staying a proper distance from the whales we were treated to a great show! Oh, and a few days later we received the email with the link to the photos!

We had a wonderful morning outing with Fernando and Fergus. Our trip was scheduled for the last week of whale watching season. The experience began with Fernando describing the geology and history of Land’s End as Fergus positioned us at perfect vantage points. Then we headed out into the sea for whale watching. Stretches of serene motoring were occasionally punctuated by whale sightings. Fergus took us to a reef where we snorkeled to our hearts’ content. The sea life was amazing, the water was the perfect temperature. After snorkeling and being offered snacks we were ready for more whale watching. We were thrilled to see a mother, baby and nurse whale - quite close to our vessel. We gasped at the explosive whale blows, breathtaking breaches, and ultimately the whales’ enormous flukes as they dove deeply. The entire experience was expertly run by Fernando and Fergus. We felt welcomed and safe. They quickly realized what we were and were not interested in, and smoothly optimized our morning. Fernando was a charming guide and we look forward to seeing his photos documenting our excursion. He will email them to us soon. We would recommend the company without hesitation and will be sure to book with them on our next visit to Los Cabos.

Amazing experience!!! Both our guide and captain were incredible. They were so respectful of the marine life and environment while still ensuring we had a once in a lifetime experience. We saw so many whales and even got to see a sea turtle right up close. INCREDIBLE!!!!!!!!!!

What a fabulous experience from start to finish. The staff were knowledgeable, pleasant and helpful and worked very hard to make this a memorable excursion. We saw over a dozen whales, sea turtles and rays and spent 20 minutes with a school of dolphins! The snorkelling was wonderful and we even saw a few small sharks while snorkelling. But what I liked best was how even though they worked very hard to get us some amazing wildlife encounters, they were always mindful to give the animals their space so that they could go about their business in peace without being disturbed by our presence. They also avoided the crowds and focused on locations where we often had the place to ourselves. 5 star experience. Will definitely book with them again!

Really incredible time with Fernando and Mario. Saw many whales breaching, tail-slapping, and baby-mother interactions. Snorkeling was great with beautiful coral to view. The guides were experts and super friendly. Would do it again.

Fernando and Mario were a great team. Fernando was engaging with us and educating us from the moment we met him on the dock. He was great at interacting with the kids and trying to make them feel safe and get them having fun. The whole vibe was very comfortable and welcoming. We were lucky to see SO MANY Humpbacks breaching very close to us, and Fernando and Mario made that insane experience even better. The guys were very cognizant of the little ones' abilities in the water, and found a calm spot for us to snorkel such that everyone would be safe. We didn't have to worry about bringing our cameras either, as Fernando was quick with the Nikon and even the Go Pro under the water. I would definitely do this tour again and recommend others do it too.

Fernando was a perfect tour guide. We were able to see jumping stingrays and several whale sightings including an up close encounter with a mother, her baby and nurse. Our kids loved the snorkeling as well. I highly recommend.

Seven college friends came to Mexico together and decided to book this trip. The best way I can describe it was magical! We saw plenty of whales (adults and babies) and our guides Fernando and Mario were absolutely fantastic. The snorkeling was great too. They drop you off at a small private harbor that and you see gorgeous tropical fish. If you are hesitating to book this tour, stop and do it! Well worth the money. All of us were raving about it the rest of the vacation. It is something none of us will ever forget.

We had the pleasure of taking this trip with Fernando and Ferguson. We had some delays in getting there and were late arriving. They were very gracious about it! Then we started our trip…we were lucky to see a few different groups of humpback whales, the most exciting including a young humpback that breached many times (maybe 15 or more!!) and flapped his large dorsal fin. Fernando was great on educating us on the humpback whales and Ferguson kept the boat far enough back to give the whales their spaces but allowing us to have a front row view. We also saw a newborn humpback! The snorkeling was great! Fernando showed us the best places to look and the equipment was in great shape. We can’t give high enough reviews! Such an awesome trip, and done very well!!

Wow! What an amazing experience with Baja Vikings & Elizabeth and Mario! Our family group of 15 spent an afternoon whale watching and snorkeling. Elizabeth and Mario shared their expertise and passion for protecting this incredible ecosystem. The whales put on quite a show, and we saw sharks while snorkeling! Everyone in the group was impressed! The professional underwater (and wildlife) photos we received were the cherry on top of a perfect day. Highly recommend!

Baja Viking was by far the BEST excursion that we had in Los Cabo! The staff was great, we saw whales, snorkeled and professional photos were included!! Don’t book with anyone else.

Highly recommend Baja Viking Ecoventures!! So many firsts! Mario and Fernando were great!! We saw several families of whales and went scuba diving for the first time! I was nervous but Mario was great at calming my nerves…so many wonderful sights! Never felt rushed and had a great time enjoying the scenery and experience! MIND BLOWN. Day 3 of our first trip to Cabo and so blessed to be spending our week with beautiful friends who truly "know Cabo...." where to stay, eat, play, rest..... because of their many trips each year. Today, we met Liz, Mario, and Fernando for a tour on their zodiac. I had no idea what to expect other than we were spending time on the water which I love. They are kind, compassionate, and showed a level of professionalism and stewardship for the ocean and creatures therein. Let's see jumping marlin; ORCAS.... humpback whales...... frolicking sea lions...... they could not have choreographed a better "show" for us. P.S. - I don't "love" snorkeling, (have only did 1x in Hawaii) from the beach.... but felt so inspired - just jumped in. And even when adrenaline kicked in , I swallowed the ocean, and on the 3rd jump, when I lost" the goggles and snorkel, well they were just as gracious ..... STILL in awe! Thank you for setting the bar so high !

Mario and Captain Coco gave us the most fabulous private boating, snorkeling, nature, whale watching event I have ever had. I would hire them again in a minute-for a group or a private event. Besides snorkeling and seeing multiple fish at Chileno Bay-the arch, sea lions, we had a marlin swimming next to our boat and NINE different whales…mommas babies and daddy breaching. It was simply spectacular!!

We go to Cabo every February and, whale watching is always on our agenda. The last several years we have gone with Baja Vikings Ecoventures, by far the best experiences we have had whale watching. Our guide and owner Mario has encyplopedic knowledge of whales and sea life. It was fantastic. If you want the best, Baja Vikings is definitely the one to call.
